“Beautifully historic country house, which was home for a succession of well-known ironmasters for nearly 200 years. In the mid-19 century, Ringwood Manor was owned by Abram S. Hewitt, America's foremost iron master. Tours & events are offered year-round!”

“Flatwater Paddle Co. is a great place to rent a kayak and paddle on motorboat free waters. Airbnb insists on labelling this entry "Greenwood Lake Paddleboards" so i guess they're affiliated with the local kayak rental place. Kayaking on Greenwood Lake is best on weekdays, when there's less boat traffic. ”

“Schedule a free tour at jw.org and visit the museum to see a beautiful collection of very rare Bibles and find out how what sincere people over the centuries have done to preserve the original writings down to our day. Also, see an amazing history of the efforts put forth to make the sure the message is available to the whole world and the amazing impact it has had on millions of lives. Unforgettable!”

“For a historical and casual hike, try the Long Pond Iron Works (12 minute drive). A flat hike, with a few building remnants and history boards, you can get a flavor for the iron forge days. Longpondironworks.org”

“Arta has excellent food. Local and Organic sources. This place does try to be fancy though, sometimes we sit at the bar. Tips: The seafood is always great, and though not on the menu the Chicken Parm is one of the best you will find. Seriously legit wine list. They even pour high end wines by the glass with Coravin.”
