“Yarrawa Estate was established in 1998 by Mark and Sue Foster. Over the next two years a diverse range of crops was planted including wine and table grapes, walnuts, pecans, macadamias, citrus,Chinese raisin trees, avocado and kiwi fruit. The first wine vintage was released in 2002 and the Cellar Door opened for business. The Cellar Door offers wine tastings in a relaxed informal atmosphere. There are homemade preserves and nuts available for purchase. Travel along the Upper Kangaroo River Road for approximately 11 kilometres to find the Estate nestled between the rugged sandstone escarpments of Kangaroo Valley. The Cellar Door has recently been listed on the website Concrete Playground Sydney as one of the Ten Awesome Cellar Doors in NSW.”

“Nellie's Glen has free parking near a flat open stretch of shallow water, great for kids to paddle in (with strict oversight as it is not far from a waterfall). A short way down a bush track is a pool for swimming in, fed by a small waterfall - very refreshing in summer. 50m down the track in the other direction is the viewing platform for the famous Carrington Falls.”

“Belmore Falls is like Robertson's little-known backyard waterfall. Usually deserted, it's nonetheless spectacular and well worth a visit and stroll around. Safe easy parking, trails are easy, too.”
