Pub
$
“This is our local pub - nothing particularly special, but it's been there since 1880 (with some original fixtures still remaining!), there's a nice atmosphere (it's not a "dirty old man" pub), and they do karaoke nights on the last Friday of the month! Steer clear when there's a game on at Murrayfield Stadium though, it gets crazy with fans.”

Grocery Store

“This is our local supermarket. It's big enough to stock most items you need for day-to-day living, but if you need something less common, the much larger 24/7 Tesco in Corstorphine is a 20 minute bus away.”

Bus Stop
“This is our local Lothian Buses bus stop (named "Roseburn Gardens"), where you can get services 12, 26, and 31 into town. The nearest Tram Stop (Murrayfield) is a 10 minute walk, which can also be used to get into the city center. Both Lothian Buses and Trams charge £1.70 for single tickets, or £4 for a day ticket offering unlimited travel all day. The buses only take exact change though, so make sure you carry coins. Travel to/from the town center (e.g. Princes Street) can be either 9 minutes by bus (service 12/26), 18 minutes by walk+tram, or 30 minutes walking.”
