“Pink and green interior at Public, a bar in Sheffield A really humbling aspect of Public is that it brings together a plethora of local talent; handthrown ceramics (crockery and light fittings) by Grey Suit Clay, a vinyl player sits singing in the corner, provided by Bear Tree Records and all of the branding/identity comes from Totally Okay. Now obviously it's a bar, and you're familiar with cocktails. These lot are a *little* different and use ingredients like truffle oil, fermented rhubarb, white cacao and fluffed orange, as well as some total spirit winners; Pedro Ximenez, Del Maguey mezcal, Tanqueray 10 and a Public own blend of Scotch. The menu Reading the menu (a hand-bound book thanks to Totally Okay) we're promised of references to Kendal Mint Cake, the hedgerows of the Peak District and a drink inspired by a dessert at Tommy Banks' Black Swan at Oldstead YOU HAVE TO BOOK”
