“Superb opera and ballet companies based here with variety of different works on at any time. Tickets can be very pricey. Backstage tours are also available and excellent. Highly recommend. ”

History Museum
“London's underground system is iconic and this museum is dedicated to it and many others. Kids in particular love this museum. Even as adults, its a fascinating look at the way we move around. If you can't make it to the museum, the gift shop has free entry and has some awesome gifts replicating iconic TfL posters, color schemes and so on. They also do 'lates' where the museum is adults only, with arts and crafts, music and a bar.”

“Great little gastro-pub, hidden away from the main street... dangerously close to being a local for me. Decent selection of beer, a solid wine list, great menu, and they to a pretty fantastic Sunday Roast.”

Burger Restaurant

“This burger restaurant goes out of the way to cater for canines. It’s right in the busy Covent Garden Piazza and has two seating areas—one inside and one in the covered piazza, which has more space for four-legged friends. The best thing about it is the special Woof Menu, a glorious selection of inventive dog dishes. Your dog will think all their Christmases have come at once if you order the “Pooch-ini”—red velvet dog biscuits, peanut butter, and vanilla custard.”

Pub

“Built in 1787, this listed building has an impressive history and was one of the few to have survived the bombings of World War Two. Said to be named after the renowned Punch & Judy puppet shows that once took place in Covent Garden’s square, the pub is located across from the West Piazza. From the pub’s iconic balcony guests have fantastic views of the central square and can enjoy watching performances from the famous street performers. Nowadays, Punch & Judy has been reinvented as a traditionally British Taylor Walker pub offering real ales, fine wines, and an extensive range of spirits and mixers, as well as hot and soft drinks. ”
