Top restaurants

Pizza Place
“The best pizza in San Francisco! Pro Tip: You can join the waitlist online to reduce your wait time by using Yelp. I recommend adding yourself to the waitlist about 30 minutes before you'd like to dine, and an 60 minutes ahead of time on Friday and Saturday nights.”

Breakfast Spot
“Got to start lining up at 7:30 otherwise you will have to wait 90 minutes. Is it worth it? Depends on how hungry you get while waiting in line for 90 minutes. At that point you talk yourself into thinking its worth it otherwise you will feel like a fool.”

New American Restaurant
“A classic for brunch or dinner - and no need to wait! Park Tavern accepts reservations in advance and also does pretty well at accepting walk-ins as well. A little bit pricier, but worth it for the tasty food and lack of wait.”

Taco Place
“Part taqueria, part fancy-ish sports bar - the ultimate identity crisis venue. Get those fried fish tacos!! If you opt for chips and salsa, ask them to put the salsa on the side so you don't end up with messy slop in five mins! ”

Bakery
“The best place to find biscotti outside NY (or Italy...). Very Wide variety of both sweet & savory Italian baked goods (check out the impressive window display!) and traditional Italian cafe, teas. Small space, not good for large groups and strollers. Even outdoor seating is tricky due to narrow sidewalks. Beware uneven pavement in North Beach, it's pretty treacherous!”
