Bar
“Located in the hometown of co-founder, Bill Dalton, the original Fox & Goose has been in operation for over two hundred years in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, a small town located near the scenic Moors of Northern England. Sacramento’s Fox & Goose, although not nearly as old as the original, has captured the traditional qualities and added an atmosphere all its own. Offering a tantalizing selection of the finest draught beers, most of which are from Great Britain and Ireland, fine wines and a full section of liquors, Fox & Goose remains true to its roots. The varied menu, which includes traditional English dishes along with vegetarian dishes and American food, offers something for everyone. Fox & Goose has a reputation for the “Best Breakfast” in Sacramento, winning awards in this category numerous times. In addition, Fox & Goose offers Lunch, Dinner, and Live Music five nights a week.”

American Restaurant
“Sac's "Big City" restaurant is an elegant space, upscale but relaxed. It is certainly formal but not stuffy. Ella is one of the area's champions of small-scale farmers. Special. Ranked #9 in Trip Advisor, but should be second. $$$”

“Mikuni’s restaurant in the historic East End Lofts building in midtown Sacramento is alive with the flavors of New York and San Francisco. Utterly cosmopolitan, it boasts a vibrancy and energy that generate an irresistible draw. Art is everywhere in this ultra-cool restaurant—from the amazing intricacy of exquisite sushi rolls to the extraordinary beauty of female Japanese warriors whose likenesses adorn the walls. It is truly a place to see and be seen—amidst the bright lights, bold colors, and the undeniable hum of excitement in the air. And with its three sushi bars, drinks bar replete with exotic concoctions, and many large, flat-screen televisions, you may never feel the need to leave.”

Bakery
“Estelle is a charming, warmly lit French bakery & pâtisserie that is dedicated to quality, located in Sacramento. All of our baked goods are made fresh daily on site and use the finest and freshest local ingredients available. Owner Esther Son's passion for pastries started at an early age. She recalls stopping by the bakery on her way to school and savoring madeleines instead of her lunch. Although not a professionally trained chef she is the creative force behind Estelle, serving up decadent macarons, artisan breads and French style pastries.”
