Just booked in Saint John

My place is close to Everything! You will be only 3-4 blocks from the city center, Bars, restaurants, and river front park. The knitting factory concert house and the Fox Theater are across the street. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the newly finished interior, the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The Bedroom has a queen sized bed with a brand new mattress and the living room has a fold out sofa.
  • Great place to stay in Spokane. Very spacious and clean - had everything we needed. The location is awesome and the other people in the building are super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Stayed here before, very clean. Enjoyed having the parking pass this time for my vehicle!

  • Isaac was a great host and very attentive to our needs. There were a couple of times when the toilet paper and paper towels ran out and he promptly answered our messages and restocked our apartment. The only down-side is the lack of internet.

    Tayler2017-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Megan's place looked terrific when we saw the ad. I was prepared to be disappointed because things are often not as good as they're presented, but this was, if anything, better. It's a nice space, very roomy, well appointed, and suited us perfectly. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the downtown Spokane area. We didn't even mind the 8-block walk to our meeting location.

    Walt2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a neat space in a hip and central location. This space was much bigger than I expected and really felt like a home. Nice, new, and clean. A pretty view to watch the sunset out the front window, walkable to everything and adjacent to the freeway and airport. Communication was easy and clear. I would stay there again! One potential drawback if you are looking for a quiet spot is that you may hear neighbors and street noise. I am pretty sensitive to noise and I did fine. It seemed to quiet down at night too.

    Genevieve2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • It was just a quick overnight for us. Scott's place was easy to find, had clear directions on how to get in and we had a good nights sleep before getting on the road again.

    Rachel2017-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • My standards/cleanliness are very high and I appreciated Scott's standards are the same.

    Duane2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Unit was much larger than the images suggested! Very clean and close to a ton of restaurants and bars!

  • Wonderful place to stay. It is a short drive into the county, what a beautiful drive! No complaints, will stay again.

  • Beautiful and clean (and slightly surreal) spot! Couldn’t be more happy. Great hosts, we’ll be back. Go Cougs!

  • Tom and Tracy's place was lovely! We had a wonderful time and they were great hosts. We will be staying there again in the future!

    Christie2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay. Hosts were very friendly and approachable, with great tips for local sights to see, including off-the-beaten-path ones. The barn apartment was incredibly spacious, and cosily appointed with comfortable furniture. It was just my wife and me staying there, but you could easily fit a larger family-- they had several folding cots in the unit, with plenty of bedding, pillows, cosy blankets, etc. My wife and I like to eat in, and we appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, plates, flatware, etc. Quiet and completely private. Location is perfect for exploring around the Palouse. Highly recommend it!

    Bryan2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Tracy were wonderful hosts. We arrived during the November cold to find the place warm and cozy. The space is much more spacious than we’d imagined, and everything was just perfect.

    Mallori2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • This home is beautiful, everything about it is perfect! Tom & Tracy's home has everything you could need, and I can't wait to come back!

Our cabin retreat on Badger Lake is quiet along with having great views of the lake. The cabin comes with a nice deck, all new appliances and a private dock you can use for your boat, fish off of or take a dip in the lake. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the views, the location, and the cute decor. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, fisherman and families (with kids).
The decor is what sets this place apart as it have a nice beach theme to the cabin. The cabin is open and spacious along with a DVD player for movies, and board games for family entertainment. In the Spring and Summer we offer the use of a canoe and paddle boat free of charge for your enjoyment.
Badger Lake is great in that it is private lake so it is quiet, the neighbors are very friendly (as most people are retired) and also there is the fact that the lake is well stocked with fish.
  • My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We had such a fun and relaxing time. The lake itself was good for swimming and especially good for fishing. The area is quiet and very serene. I slept so soundly due to how peaceful it was. We definitely want to come back and bring the kids.

    Sarah2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is super charming, comfortable and fully embraces the lake lifestyle. I only stayed one night but it was great. David is an A+ host -- we arrived on a 100 degree day to find all the fans on and the house pleasantly cool. Really nice surprise! Last note: there's a charcoal bbq on the back deck which is awesome. Mention it as I don't believe a grill was in the listing description

    Andrew2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cabin, the decor was really cute and the movie, game, and book selection was nice. My kids fished on the dock for hours and caught a lot of trout! The steps to the dock are pretty steep but the handrails are very sturdy so it was not an issue. David was great to communicate with when I had questions and we will definitely stay again!

    Anissa2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! It's right on the water and so peaceful on the deck!! The kids had lots of fun too!

    Amber2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • It was a memorable experience in a beautiful setting. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. David is a great host. Overall a wonderful place for a romantic get away or for family fun.

    Drisan2016-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the cabin on Badger Lake was wonderful. We enjoyed some great fishing and the peaceful setting. There is no cell phone service, internet, or cable which made for a relaxing getaway for us. Bring your fishing gear and pick up some groceries in downtown Cheney on your way in and you'll be good to go for a weekend stay!

    Rachel2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is really cozy with a comfy bed. Be sure to let all your friends and family know you will have zero cell service. We noticed a dish on the property but no ability to use it. There is a good selection of movies to watch there.

    Christy 2017-08-27T00:00:00Z

  • We had such a lovely time staying in the Cougar loft that we booked an extra night's stay. The Palouse region is beautiful, and Wendy's place is comfortable, spacious, well-decorated (loved the Cougs colors!), and quiet. The bed is so comfortable! Self check in was a breeze, and Wendy was always very prompt and kind when responding to any questions we had. I grew up in Pullman (which is about a 20 min drive away), and love the peacefulness and beauty of the area. We can't wait to return for another visit. Go Cougs!

    Xiaobin2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy was quick to communicate at booking and as we arrived. The loft was beautiful and comfortable as described. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath as well as comfy bedding! The unit is very roomy and accommodated us well. We would definitely choose to stay there again. We were attending WSU graduation in Pullman which was a quick 25min drive. Thanks Wendy! #gocougs

    Gail2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is lovely! Wendy does an amazing job of making the stay happy and comfortable. The little and big touches were much appreciated!

    Margo2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend getaway in Wendy's cozy, well-decorated loft. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. We loved the kitchen, the fireplace, the comfort of the furniture and bed, and everything else. A great experience all around!

    Joshua2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first time we stayed with any airbnb. Wendy has set a high benchmark in all aspects - communication, cleanliness and overall value. Wendy was such a kind & helpful host. We are already planning our next trip to Wendy's cozy nest tucked away in the green fields of Palouse. Thank you, Wendy!

    SUDIPTA2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Cougar's Loft is a great place to stay! Very easy check-in/out, very spacious, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Loved having the convenience of a washer & dryer. The drive to Pullman is an easy drive. We would definitely stay here again.

    Gina2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay in Colfax, central to downtown and the Palouse region, very close to groceries and local eats. Very nicely decorated and appliances and accessories are all there. Great location for a couple, two couples, or for a single artist "retreat". Quiet and spacious. We'll be back.

    Mike2017-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a place for just yourself, or your entire family, in the Palouse, Wendy's Cougar Loft is the place you want to stay. I've stayed in AirBnB's all over the world, and The Cougar Loft is right at the top of the list for ease, comfort, size, amenities and convenience. My friend and I needed a base camp for a multi-day photography adventure in the Palouse, and this location was absolutely perfect. Wendy was also very responsive to our requests for places to eat and also locations to photograph in the area.

Overlooks a lake with resorts open April-September (Klink's & Bunker's) & public boat launch/lake access (1/2 mile away). It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the town of Cheney and Eastern Washington University. Property itself is 6 acres, with room for camping, outdoor activities & storage. You’ll love my place because of the views, lake access & the outdoors space. Singles, couples and campers welcome. Free landline use; cell service can be spotty.
  • This is a truly amazing place with a lake view and friendly couple. They gave us precise instructions as they were coming late. We met them in the morning as we prepared breakfast and some sandwiches for the road. Wish we could stay a little longer. Very good place to come fishing, hiking or talking about music. Highly recommended!

    Karlis2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was easily the best experience I have had with airbnb so far. I would give 6 stars if I could. Very good accommodations for the price. Cindy is very helpful in friendly. She answered any questions I had about the area. We also spent most of the time during my stay hanging out and playing board/card games, Karaoke or just talking. Very fun person to be around.

    Alexander2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy and her cats are the best! :) Exactly as advertised and previously reviewed. Clean, quiet, all the essential amenities. Great conversation and a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful stay in a beautiful natural setting.

    Ryan2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Well appointed and nice house, the owners couldn't be more accommodating and are very knowledgeable about the local area, and are more than happy to share tips over a few beers.

    Quinn2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • View this place as a get away from it all. It's miles to the nearest town and gps sometimes takes you on a route that takes you in circles down the wrong road. WiFi is slow, no cell service. So enjoy the solitude. The area is gorgeous with the lakes, ponds, trees and the calming sounds of birds.

    David2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • This airbnb was wonderful. I would suggest it to anyone!

  • My brothers and I stayed here for a couple nights. A cute little cottage with all the amenities you can think of! You can tell that Bobbi puts a lot into the place. One of the nicest places we stayed. Definitely above and beyond our expectations. Worked well for us but it would be an excellent place for a romantic weekend for a couple as well. Bobbi is a great host and very hospitable. I just can't say enough good about it stay there!

    Robert2017-08-20T00:00:00Z

    Jan2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a lovely experience. We didn't expect much when we booked based on the photos but the place is very nice and clean, much better than the photos. Everything was provided and even have their own logo own it. Looks very professional. Kitchenwares are clean and the bed was very comfy. (Not much for the sofa bed)

The accommodations were wonderful, bed and bedding super comfortable, the view was incredible, and the price was very affordable. I'll be back for sure!

It is located out in the country, where it is quiet and peaceful, away from the lights and noise of the city. • Melvie and Robert are very thoughtful and generous hosts. The suite was very clean and offered everything you need for comfort. Linens and towels were changed every couple of days and coffee, creamer, fresh fruit, water, ice, yogurt, snacks, etc...were a nice surprise. It was so quiet and peaceful at the farm. The pictures don't do it justice. Thank you again and I recommend to anyone that this is the first AirBNB that lived up to the description. Just nice people!

    Shane2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I were in Cheney for a volleyball tournament at the college and enjoyed staying here. It is very nice and relaxing. The host Melvie and Robert made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

    Christopher2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Melvie's place was nice and clean. Small space, but cozy. Some misleading things; bed is only a double, hottub is for only certain hours (you have to ask to use/have them open it for you), and there is a limit on the wifi. The bathroom is really nice, and it has a kitchen as well. Overall were mostly pleased, however host came into the room while we were gone during the day, which seemed a little weird to us (didn't clean or make bed, and if we had known we would have put our stuff away, etc).

Take a walk back into time starting $50 nightly for a single, or $500 nightly to accommodate your whole family or group of friends. This is a classic craftsman home with a wrap around porch, with most areas looking as they did when it was built in 1908. Six bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with refrigeration space, fireplace, and walk in shower make this a great space for a family gathering.
If visiting in the summer, the public pool is 2 blocks away and cost $2 per person. Special arrangements can be made to tour the local historic theatre and the local museum. Nearby is the John Wayne Trail for exercise and nature walks.
  • Beautiful and welcoming home, err, mansion! So perfect for our family. Loved Tecoa for the nostalgia and am looking forward to returning. Charming Hostess, comfortable, warm and if we needed anything I feel Debra would have provided. I highly recommend this home for a family gathering, retreat, weekend away, knitting bee, ......There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for more. Lovely and excellent value.

The R.C. McCroskey House is located in the heart of the Palouse Country, on State HWY 27 (Scenic Byway). Garfield is just thirty minutes north of Moscow, ID and Pullman, WA, and sixty minutes south of Spokane, WA. Built in 1898, this house is a treasure!
Your guest quarters include two bedrooms (queen sized), two bathrooms and a "Muse Room" for food preparation, dining, reading, games, etc.. The McCroskey House is much like is was in the 1900's. We added a bathroom in what was once "the Maid's Room". Another private bathroom with a walk-in shower is located inside one of the guest rooms.
The Garfield City Park is located four blocks away, on Adams and 5th Street. The public swimming pool is located at the north end of 3rd Street, by the school, high on a hill. School playground is great for kids. "Meet Shop, Too" is a coffee shop on Main Ave and 3rd. "The In-Convenience Store" is a grocery store on California Ave between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Grumpy's Tavern makes really good hamburgers, French fries and more - Main Ave and 3rd Street!

Our little flat is located in rural Garfield, WA we are directly at street level, no yard - just a little porch. Our home is decorated in mid-century mod finds, and shared with 2 chihuahuas. We are located approx. 25-30 min from WSU (Pullman) and Univ. of Idaho (Moscow) 1 hr. South of Spokane. Most people find themselves here to take photos, relax and detach from their lives. Its not everyones cup of tea, but if a Martini sounds more up your alley it could be a fit, questions welcome.
This is NOT your typical home. It is an old building converted into living space. We own and operate a custom meat shop directly next door and are considering adding an airbnb experience with this listing. We welcome furbabies, because we love to travel with ours. However, we have little space and only a tiny doggy door out to the alley fenced in potty area - so your big guy would need to take a walk with you. Our town is very limited, we have a local coffee shop (usually not open on the weekend) and a tiny tavern within steps from our front door. Other then that you may want to bring a yoga mat, camera or understand why you are coming to our tiny community. Local talented & lic. Massage therapist (Mary Eggen) may be available for in home massage at $50 an hour. However arrangements must be made through me in advance. I would love to help you make your stay memorable let's talk about special request... Please note the outside entryway is equipped with security camera. Outside street level only where cars are parked. Our attached garage not offered to our guest has inside security cameras.
This is a rural community of approx. 500 people. We are located 9 miles from Palouse, and fun little town with good food and antique stores. We are a paradise for photographers.
  • Windy's home is awesome. You're not going to find a spot like this again for a while. So, if you're headed her way, see if you can stop in for a couple of nights. You won't regret it. Also, Grumpy's burger was as good as advertised!

  • Oh My, I'm not sure where to start with my review other than saying I don't want to say how GREAT our experience because I want it to be kept a jewel. However in fairness to the owners the place even better in person than the pictures lead one to believe. If you are traveling to the Palouse area this will be our go to when available and you should make it yours too. The space is very spacious with all types of room to hang out. Two bedrooms two bath, spot on. The hosts are so gracious, personable and nice. Windy is so quick on responding and answering questions I could not keep up with my questions she was so responsive. We said Hi to Windy's husband next door as we were leaving. He took time out of his work day to say Hi and treat us like old friends. If you are looking for a spacious quiet and out if the way environment to unhook from society and enjoy the peace of the town of Garfield this is the place to stay. Just don't stay to long as we want to go back already. My eufe said that if it was her place she would not leave it. THANK YOU!

  • My pup and I set out in search of the perfect place to watch the meteor shower and this quiet little town was the perfect match. Windy was AMAZING. She accepted our last-minute request to book and had the place ready for us a day early! Her home is incredible beyond words. Hidden in an old storefront you'd never expect to walk in and see what it has to offer. Her style and attention to detail is absolutely PERFECT. And you can tell from the family photos throughout the home that she's turned into works of art that nothing but love has went into the creation of this living space. It was immaculate but both my pup and I felt super comfy and right at home. We didn't want to ever leave! Our time consisted of dancing to old records from the 40s, swinging on the porch swing watching the storm roll in, relaxing baths in the jetted tub, painting and sketching with inspired hands and walks through this quiet little town currently consumed by harvest. All the neighbors we did meet were incredibly friendly and we felt like we'd stepped back in time. We drove south a mile or so and pulled off on a dirt road to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower and it was like a movie - lightning on the horizon, perfectly clear skies above (we saw SO MANY shooting stars) and a group of coyotes serenading us in the background. PURE MAGIC. Windy left us detailed instructions as to where to go and what to do and even left us a Discover Pass so we wouldn't have to pay entrance into the state parks. We are so grateful for this much needed getaway from the city! HIGHLY recommended!

  • I did not expect to find chic and modern in the rural settings of Garfield. All of us were floored by the beautiful design and attention to detail that every space in this house showcased. We wanted to transport this whole house back to Seattle to call our own. Everything was in its place and had a purpose. The hanging porch out front was a nice touch, as well as the abundant of lounging areas available throughout the house. The open floor plan was inviting and our group had the best of times eating and talking after each day's outings. Nestled in the middle of rural communities, the location is perfect as the base for epic excursions into the gorgeous landscapes and small communities around Palouse. We snapped beautiful pictures of the famed Palouse Rolling Hills and the Palouse Falls. Windy, our host, was absolutely accommodating and provided excellent suggestions for photographic opportunities as well as local eats and sights. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to all our friends. You're not going to find a better place to stay in the area. I would even boldly say that it rivals well-established 4-stars hotels; and we've stayed at many of those.

  • This flat is amazing super clean and comfortable! It has everything you could possibly need and more! My husband and I rented this place because it was central to hiking and photography landscapes that I wanted and approximately 30mins from WSU for my husband to go to the football game. We hope to be able to stay here again!! Highly recommended

  • This is a fun and funky little gem in the heart of the Palouse. Everything was as described by Windy and communication was fast and easy. Not too far from Pullman, so was convenient for us! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

  • We had such a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home! The interior design was funky, eclectic and industrial goodness. Windy was very informative and responsive if we needed anything and the entire home was clean and ready for guests. I would highly recommend this hidden gem in the quaint little town of Garfield!

  • What an amazing place, with extraordinary hosts. We stayed at Windy's digs for a rainy late October weekend, and it couldn't have been more ideal for what we were looking for.

Cozy upstairs hotel-room apartment on Main Street in historic downtown Palouse, Washington. Perfect for a getaway stay in one of eastern Washington’s friendliest small towns. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
We are located on an historic main st of Palouse
  • Nice little place in downtown Palouse. Dianne was nice enough to leave a bowl of water for my dog. Thanks!

  • This place was great! The town was quiet but interesting and the apartment was perfect for my husband, my daughter and myself. We didn't get to meet Diane, but she definitely has an attractive apartment. I'm sure we'll be back!

  • We enjoyed staying at The Roadhouse. We'll definitely recommend to family and friends who visit Palouse. The apartment is spacious, very clean and has a super comfy bed. All the amenities we needed were provided and the location was perfect for visiting Palouse.

  • Palouse Roadhouse was very perfect location for everyone to visit the scenic area ( Steptoe & Kamiak Butte). WIFI & Telephone network in this area was bad.

    chanak2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place is charming. I was imagining it would be a part of the country side residential house, but it was right in the downtown of Palouse (very small but charming area) in the big building made of stone. The apartment is large, I didn't need that much space, but it's a great option to stay as a family. I believe there are restaurants in very close distance, but I was staying just for the night and it was too late to explore.

Beautiful country setting on a quiet dead end road yet still close enough to town to enjoy activities. Our studio is located in our large detached shop with a private entrance. 4.5 miles to Spangle, 15 miles to downtown Spokane, 14 miles to Cheney/EWU and 60 miles to Pullman.
Relaxing in the studio is very easy with comfortable reclining couches and Directv. Great for vegging out or catching the news. The kitchen has all the essentials to make your own meals. There is coffee and filters provided.
  • We had a great stay at this studio apartment. The hosts are very kind and allowed us to park our RV on the property as well. The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. An added bonus were s the kittens and horses

  • This place is great if you want to get out of the city for a bit! Autum is a great communicator and the place is very clean. If you want to cook, there are utensils and plates and pans. Beautiful open layout and lots of seating to just relax and watch a movie.

  • Connor and Autum's studio was spacious, clean, and off the beaten path...which is exactly what we were seeking. It's a picturesque, peaceful setting to enjoy the sunset and be out amongst the trees. Autum was willing to answer our questions about the surrounding areas and was a gracious hostess. Thank you so much.

    Michael2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Autum and Connor were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. They made us feel right at home. Their beautiful country property was well maintained and peaceful, and it's only a short 15 minute drive from Spokane. The studio was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was exactly what we needed after spending a few weeks in the backcountry. I recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Hey, I'm Tracia. Welcome to our little slice of heaven. Located just 40 minutes from Spokane, Wa, this spacious, family friendly home is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing get-a-way. Year round access makes it easy to enjoy summer and winter. Just minutes from EWU, 45 minute drive to Gonzaga University and 1 +20 min drive to WSU. Fully stocked chef's kitchen, a/c, kayaks, great fishing & ample parking. Long winding roads for cycling, running and hiking. You won't want to leave!
Open floor plan. TV room with Direct TV. Wireless internet, however, the speed is a bit slow. On the main floor there is a room with a queen. Another room with a full and a master with a king. There is a full bathroom in the hallway. The master has a stunning view of the lake and has a private entrance to it's own full bathroom and walk in closet. Downstairs is a studio apartment with a queen bed and couch. This area is accessed from the lake side.
Small, quiet yet very tight knit neighborhood. I care about my neighbors deeply so I will not allow anything loud, crazy or unsafe that would disturb the neighborhood.
  • I stayed at Tracia's place on my graduation day. I booked this place almost a year ago, and Tracia is so nice to talk to. I had 10 people include myself, she letting us stay with good deal. All of us love her place so much and I was so happy to stay Tracia's place than hotel. Also, Tracia just so sweet, we had great communicate, she even checked with me if everything fine the second day when we were there. We had great time there, thanks Tracia.

    songling2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 4 nights at Tracia's cabin what a wonderful place! The lake is very peaceful and the private dock is great. My family enjoyed watching for the turtles and just enjoying the sun, water and kayaks. The house itself is plenty of room. The kitchen is well supplied if you wanted to cook (we chose bbq and take and bake pizza). Tracia was a great host. Excellent communication and makes you feel very welcome. On the "repeat holiday" list.

  • Tracia was so easy to communicate with and the house was everything we hoped for and more. My kids couldn't get enough swimming and fishing in during the daylight hours !! What an amazing place.

  • Jean was very kind and personable. Her home was comfortable and our room was quiet and private. This was so much nicer than staying in a hotel! My son and I loved sitting on the big porch and eating breakfast. Lovely.

  • Jean was quite pleasant! The home was so sweet and beautiful with a deliciously wonderful breakfast in the morning. She shared with us and was such wonderful company and a generous host. • Stayed three nights while competing in a tennis tournament in Cheney. Jean & Gary’s hospitality & clean comfortable home made it feel like I was playing on the home team. Jean accommodated my varying schedule and prepared a wholesome farm style breakfast to fuel the day. I enjoyed this opportunity to stay in an authentic farm house.

  • Greg was a great host. Very friendly and helpful, and the house was lovely and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

    Sara2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Greg was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had prior to our stay. He was so kind to provide additional accommodations for our college son who traveled with us. He greeted us so warmly as if we were his long-time good friends. He had a plate of freshly baked delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting in our room, and he graciously gave us a tour of his countryside property that is a haven to many wild birds, deer and moose. Greg and Vicki were so cordial and made sure that we felt at home. The memory foam bed was so comfortable and we had the best and most refreshing sleep. The beautiful pink sunrise that we saw from our room added to the peaceful tranquility of the surroundings. It was very hard to leave Greg and Vicki's beautiful country comforts and their heart-warming presence.

    Joan2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Greg and Vickie are as cool as always ! The best host I've ever seen! We had a great time with them. I would always prefer staying at his place when I visit spokane

    Vivek2017-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Greg has a gorgeous home in an amazing location and has a warm, welcoming energy. I was only there for an evening but thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, coyotes howling at the moon, fantastic conversation with Greg and his guests, an impromptu didgeridoo session, and even a delicious quiche dinner. I think I would be hard pressed to find a more enjoyable or hospitable place near Spokane - this is an easy recommendation to other travelers and I hope to be back some time.

    Andrew2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Greg and Vicki are great hosts, very warm and welcoming. Greg was great about communicating before and during the booking, and after. It was very easy to find his home. We really enjoyed the wildlife and relaxing on his deck. PS He also makes really good cookies.

  • Greg was an amazing host! He was extremely accommodating of our changing ETA, as traffic in the pass was horrible. He welcomed is in person in the wee hours of the morning. He made us coffee I'm the morning and gave us a tour of his gorgeous woodland property. Greg's home is perfect for anybody who wants to stay close to town but still a bit off the beaten path. The views of the wetlands were stunning. His gardens were extensive. There were animals everywhere, and it was so peaceful. We can't wait to come back!

    Jennie2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot begin to say enough great things about my stay with Greg and Vicky. From the moment I arrived on the property I was welcomed with open arms (literally). Greg went above and beyond to get me aquatinted with the area and comfortable. Just a couple of the trip highlights were fresh baked cookies, a tour of the town, a morning paddle on the lake, homemade quiche for breakfast, and of course hours of deck time just watching the wilderness do its thing. Greg and Vicky are excellent stewards of the land. Quail, turkeys, bucks, bald eagles, and so many other creatures made their appearance during my visit. My recommendation to you is to book this listing now, you will not regret it!

    Allison2017-07-22T00:00:00Z

The Bagott House is located in eastern Washington, about 60 miles south of Spokane and a few miles from the Idaho border. It offers a cozy place to stay when you are in the area for a family reunion, football game or traveling to photograph the Palouse. The Bagott House does not offer traditional B&B accommodations--as in we don't cook for you. But there is a fully equipped kitchen and we also encourage our guests to frequent the local restaurants or get supplies at the grocery store in town.
  • We were only there for a few hours but the room definitely served it's purpose. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't actually meet our hosts because it was after 11:00 pm when we arrived and we left around 8:30 am. They did communicate with us through text though and were very helpful.

  • We were a bit late as we didn't recognize how big that area is. The owner is really very nice and waited for us even it's late. My friends and I all love the place, comfortable beds, and room is big and comfortable too. The rest area in the yard is cute, we love it too. The owner takes well care about her yard, all plants grow very well, we ate lot of cherry tomato, sweet and juicy; Definitely will come back again. For people coming from outside USA, please pay attention on the volume of the gas in your car. The gas station in small town are all self service, only USA bank card.

Palouse is a lovely little town, and I’d actually love to come back (perhaps when it’s not snowing like crazy). The apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable! I would definitely return. I didn’t get a chance to interact with Darcie, but communication through email was great. The instructions at the house were also helpful. Loved it!

Schierman Springs is a 40-acre conservation park on the Palouse in Eastern Washington State. Come explore what we consider to be the wild west. There are vast scablands carved out from the glacial lake Missoula floods, rolling hills, local lakes and rivers, and abandoned towns and homesteads. You can see it all from an exclusive central location with shaded lawn camping & fire pit.
The Schierman's have owned this farmstead for 100 years- since 1916. In the last 50 years, it has been transformed from a farm to a sustainable conservation park by owner Tom Schierman and sons, James and Jon. In the comfortable outdoor adventure seasons the farmstead is open for guests and private events. The property is being developed into an exclusive rustic retreat and private campground for group stay, camping, workshops, photography tours, private parties, weddings, reunions, and recreation both on the grounds and around the Palouse.
It's pretty quiet and peaceful. Sure it's in farm country, so it not the forest, but we like it because it is so unique. Photographers and travel writers have coined the term 'Tuscany of America' for the Palouse. There are so many mysterious lakes, ghost towns, fishing streams and rivers, county and state parks, abandoned railroad trails, soft rolling hills and rocky scablands within a few minutes reach. Schierman Springs is centrally located between several Eastern Washington college towns and major cities. There are numerous small events in the area and always something to do on the Palouse. St. John hosts sprint boat races two time per year. A local group of hangliders and paragliders have access to several buttes and great places to fly around the region.
  • If you are going to Palouse or any of the surrounding areas, I implore you to stay with James. He was warm and welcoming and loves the area. His father was also just as amazing in welcoming us onto their property and setting up our camp. They have the perfect location for enjoying the outdoor Palouse area. Quail and various birds roamed the property along with a litter of kittens.

    Eli2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible. James and his father are amazing hosts - they definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are having a good time and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We just got back from our trip an hour ago and cannot recommend this place enough!

    Bryan2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • James and his father Tom were the most gracious hosts. The property is beautiful and meeting them made it come to life even more. This was a great spot for just the two of us, but it would ideal for a close group of friends too. Thanks Tom and James!

    kathryn2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and James were wonderful hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home while exploring the Palouse. Tom was kind to share fruits and veggies from his garden. It was also a treat to hear him tell the local history. I will definitely visit Schierman Sanctuary again.

  • Norma is welcoming and delightful! The accommodations are very spacious and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book this location again.

    Susan2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Norma was an awesome host so kind and approachable. The space is huge and was perfect for our group of three (but could easily have fit way more). Norma left snacks and water for us which was awesome given our grueling schedule.

    Tracie2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Norma's place is conveniently located to WSU. It has a private entrance which is key when visiting for university events. It has all the conveniences of a motel with so much more space and a better value. If visiting during the heat remember to bring some clothes for inside the air conditioning as it can be cool.

    Jennifer2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Norma's place was roomy, clean, and great for our football weekend stay. She welcomed us at 10pm and even made us muffins for the next day's breakfast! It is within close walking distance to the Game Day Aquatic Center bus pickup

  • Norma and Paul made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our accomodations!

  • Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of private space for short or extended stays. Big beds are great.

    Scott2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • You will find Norma's place just as described. It's easy to find and extremely spacious. Lovely bedroom with a comfy king bed. This is a relatively new Airbnb listing and as Norma told us, it's a "work in progress." We gave some suggestions and she is planning some more improvements. It was a good bargain and we had no complaints. It's very clean and quiet and vastly superior to staying in a downtown motel! We were quite comfortable and there is so much to see in the Pullman area.

  • Angel was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Although we never met him, his wife was warm, welcoming, and quick to assist us when needed. The space was large and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable if "cozy". It took only a few minutes to get to campus. Our only complaint was the noise. You are effectively in the same room as the host family as there seems to be no sound insulation between the floors. Angel apologized for the noise once which was appreciated, but the regular goings on of the family make their way into the space unimpeded.

    John2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Angel was very prompt in responding to questions. I appreciated his quick responses. I also liked the flexible check-in/check-out. The area was very clean. However, I was disappointed with how loud the mattress was. It made a noise anytime someone moved on it such as getting in and out of bed, and rolling over. Additionally, from the bedroom you can hear most of the noise that is made in the house (i.e., kids crying and playing, people taking, people walking around, things being slammed, etc.).

  • Susie and her husband Andrew were gracious hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were attentive and responsive to any needs that arose during our stay. Their home is conveniently located to WSU and other services in Pullman. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck, having our morning coffee. We would not hesitate to stay with them again.

    Carl2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Susie's place is perfect. My uncle and aunt are coming from oversea to drop my cousin off at WSU. They want a place to be able to accommodate several people and able to cook. Susie's place is affordable for the constraints that we have. Location is 10 mins drive from south side of WSU. If u dont have a car, it's a walk up and down the hill to get to the bus. The communication was great. We always heard from them within less than a day. Check in and out were smooth. Their kitchen is well-stocked. Beds are all comfortable. We love staying here and would recommend it to anyone coming to Pullman.

    Prodpran2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice house close to WSU. Three bedrooms and a kitchen on the main level. Two small bathrooms as well. Host lives downstairs. Recommended for a nice place to stay when visiting WSU or Pullman. Thanks Susie!

    Joe2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Susie's place was perfect! Super clean, comfy and spacious. It had everything we needed. This will definitely be our "WSU Pad" whenever we visit our kids here in the future. Great value and a great time!!

    Tracy2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • For starters, Susie and Andrew were great hosts. We met Andrew during our check in and he gave us the tour of the house and let us know that if we needed anything let either of them know. The house is a great space. Very big and very comfortable. The kitchen is very spacious and the feel of each room gives you that homey vibe that helps you relax a lot more than if you stayed at a hotel. The amenities that they had really let me know that they've gone through every detail of their home and prepared it to be the most comfortable stay possible. Things that I really liked were all the different amenities in the kitchen (three different ways to make coffee). The living room has very comfortable couches, blankets, an Xbox one, a guitar, etc... The bathrooms have everything you might need an they even put a packaged toothbrush in case I'd forgotten my own. It was honestly an extremely pleasant stay and if I'm ever back in Pullman, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our place is located in the beautiful Palouse Hills within a short drive to Moscow, Idaho (University of Idaho) and Pullman, Washington (Washington State University). - You’ll love my place because it is close to both universities yet you will enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views of the rolling hills of the Palouse. - My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
  • Great location. The house was very clean, and Kevin was also helpful. We really liked the place, and the thoughtful little touches such as coffee and extra blankets.

  • Great family home close enough to town to make it worth the drive. Home is very nice and well equipped. It was perfect for two WSU moms to relax with their freshman daughters during our first Moms Weekend. Will definitely check availability when we're heading back to WSU...go Cougs!

  • This was perfect for us to be close to U of I for graduation weekend. It is very comfortable, we were 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Nice clean house, well stocked, great for a quiet get away.

    David2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is so clean and new! We were shocked to find the details and that they thought of to provide. The place felt as though no one had ever stayed there before and we were the first. We went for a long weekend hunting trip and we were so comfortable in this luxurious but country home. The owner got back to us on every question and we were overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of the tasty treats he had waiting for us!! This is a must have stay!

  • Along with my parents, we had a great time staying at Kevin's place for our daughter's graduation from WSU. His place is very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some! We enjoyed taking some side trips to Potlatch and Palouse. We liked that the two bedrooms were separated and there are two full bathrooms. Most of all we enjoyed meeting Kevin and hearing the history of the farm.

    Susan2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin was very quick to respond to all my questions. We were looking for quiet and the farm was perfect. My kids were very impressed with the accommodations, which means everyone had a better time. Would stay again for sure!

  • Susie's home was perfect for our stay in Pullman! It is very conveniently located. There is lots of room for a family gathering, both inside and outside, between the spacious living room, large table in the dining area, and deck in the back yard, it couldn't have been more perfect for us. If you like to cook, the kitchen amenities are wonderful, plenty of room for preparing food and everything needed to do so. (Btw....the lids for the cookware are not located in the same cupboard as the cookware. The lids are located in a basket in the cupboard to the right of the frig :) ) And there's also a nice large grill on the deck! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susie's and would definitely stay again!

We live in rural nowhere, but hey if you are passing through, on a photo tour, or just want to get away our RV may be what you're looking for...
This is a small Toterhome RV - We offer it on our back lot. The lot is gravel, no grass and has other equipment about so NOT a typical RV spot. The RV has a large slide, no bedroom but a very nice comfy queen size sleeper sofa.
We are located in Garfield WA - not much going on its a slowed down way of life for sure. However, if you want to escape, take in some gorgeous Palouse Wheat Fields, head over to WSU or Univ. of Idaho (approx 25-30 minute drive) it may just work. We will NOT move our RV to WSU for use - that place is nuts, sorry...

  • Char and Matt are very warm and welcoming hosts! The place was comfortable and perfect for my stay. The bed was super comfy too! Their place has a well-equipped kitchen, which is very important to me because the main reason I rent airbnb places is to have a kitchen. Char also stocks the bathroom with nice towels too! I highly recommend it if you're cruising through Pullman.

    Brena2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect. I was there for 6 days. Was cozy and warm the whole time. There was a lot of snow piled up on the side of the roads and I had a truck and trailer, they gave me the drive way and shoveled snow off the Sreet for a spot to park there car. Great place to stay in Pullman. Great hosts!

    Joseph2017-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying at Chateau Char, as I call it. Everything was great, just as it was the first time. Well stocked kitchen for those who like to cook, super comfy bed, and just all around great place. Char and Matt are very gracious and made me feel welcome. Communication with Char and checking in is super easy. Definitely will be my spot when I return to Pullman!

    Brena2016-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Oh my gosh. Ditto to previous reviews. Everything was just perfect. Clean, spacious, cool in the heat. Basket of snacks/water was most welcome especially for my son who's a midnight snacker! A couple restaurants are walkable although they live almost at the top of a hill. Workout for your quads! Matt gave a great restaurant recommendation for our first night - SouthFork. The other nights we ventured into Moscow - check out Sangria Grille and Tappe! Char and Matt's place will be our first choice next time in Pullman. Wish I could keep it a secret!

    diane2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at Char's house. We arrived very late in the evening, so she gave us clear instructions on how to enter the house. Our accommodations were very clean and just what we needed. Would definitely return! Thank you Char.

  • We love to stay at Char's place! It was the first time for us to visit USA. We were very worried about our accommodation at first. However, Char's place really make us felt very safe and just like home. Her house was really neat and so well equipped. The bed was so comfortable!!!!!! Also, Char and her husband were helpful and easy-going person! We will definitely choose to stay at their place next time!!!!!

    Erica2015-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very very kind and friendly. And the room is pretty lovely. The washing machine is awesome!! They also explain a lot of questions for me. Mr. Matt is a hand-working man, I think that is why his garden is gorgeous.

    _trustmayday2015-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Char was great at communicating how to enter the property, and there were printouts with emergency #s and other information that were very helpful! • Palouse, just south of this lodge, is a perfect place for photography. Our camera club rented the lodge for a full week, using it as a center point. It worked great. The lodge itself is fun! Lots of things to look at, such as a racoon climbing up a pole in the living room and trinkets & signs everywhere. All 5 bedrooms were clean and cozy with NO issues with beds or pillows. (Note: the 6th bedroom is a cabin a couple hundred yards away without electric or a bathroom. The bed there was also very comfortable.) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, pots&pans, etc. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. All in all, the lodge comes highly recommended by this group of 10 photographers! GO FOR IT!

    Tom2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • I picked Rick's place because I was looking for lots of bedrooms for the people going on my photo tour of the Palouse. It was perfect - everyone had their own room and the meeting area was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lodge is quite amazing - beautiful craftsmanship and nicely decorated. Rick was quick to respond to every need and question. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and ready. We were surprised that Rick didn't require any cleanup, which made leaving a breeze. The wifi worked. The roads were amazingly smooth, despite being in the sticks. The location was quite a drive, but it was worth it for the comfortable lodging.

    Karen2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • This canine is absolutely stunning. It was he most amazing air bnb experience I have ever had. 100/100 amazingly beautiful and Rick is so speedy with his responses and so kind. If your on the fence with two locations in mind this one will be the for sure winner!

    Paige2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful lodge in a beautiful environment. It was just stunning with all the windows. Magnificent views of huge pine trees and secluded enough not to have noisy neighbors. My boyfriend and I went there looking for snow, and we found it. We are from the dessert, so every year we plan a vacation in the snow. Cheney is about 30 minutes south of Spokane, which was perfect. We flew into Spokane, rented a car and ended up driving to Couer d'Alene for the day. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was great. The mattresses all had their own issues, and I would suggest bringing your own pillow, if possible. Also, bring some DVD's, While they do have a lot of VHS tapes, we found the VCR player on the mail floor unable to operate. The downstairs VCR player does play VHS tapes though. This place is awesome for a family with kids. They have a bedroom on the main floor, a master bedroom upstairs, and 3 bedrooms downstairs, sleeping a total of 10 people. I believe there is also a sofa bed too. The beds all have their own issues, just be aware. If you're in the area, you have to go to the Leverfe Bakery and Café, in Medical Lakes (about 20 minutes away). It's a small, family owned bakery that bakes all their desserts fresh. They have the best pull-a-part bread, huge Cinnamon rolls, best German sausage, French toast, and much, much, more. Overall, I would suggest this place for a family vacation.
