“This magical restaurant is located in a restored republican house that preserves its architecture, its original floors and walls, which most resembles a Caribbean art gallery. The owner of the Restaurant is Mr. Juan del Mar, recognized in our country as a multifaceted businessman. Within his arts, there are his restaurants, his taste for haute cuisine and his outstanding work as a bullfighter.”

“Without a doubt, this is one of the most famous restaurants in Cartagena thanks to a nice visit that took place a couple of years ago. It was in 2008 when the famous chef and presenter Anthony Bourdain listed them as the best cevicheria in the city. La Cevicheria was born as a small four-table restaurant in front of the imposing Sofitel Santa Clara hotel. Months later the small place became a much wider corner restaurant with that relaxed and cheerful touch of the Caribbean and an even wider menu.”
