“Lots of great restaurants and shopping down one main strip. Parking is tough, so this is a good time to ride share.”

Seafood Restaurant
“Adjacent to Mission Beach, Pacific Beach (PB) is well known for its college students, bars/clubs/hangouts and tons of scooters which drive drivers crazy. If drinking is your thing, you'll find it on Garnet Avenue, everything from The Local Pub to the cavernous 3 story Mavericks, to Moonshine Beach for your country music needs. Do us all a favor, don't try to drive/park there - take a rideshare or bike or walk. Farmers Market is excellent on Tuesday, year round, from 2-7 on Bayard Street between Grand/Garnet. Lots of eatieries - some of our favorites are listed under "Food Scene".”

“The name is a pretty efficient explanation for this one! At sunset the cliffs area comes alive with people out to capture the unobstructed views of the sun dipping behind the ocean. But don't be fooled; morning walks, daytime secret cove swims sightseeing Sunday drives are all just as impressive here.”

“Ocean Beach in San Diego is a neighborhood unlike any other, which is why it is definitely worth taking the time to enjoy on a deeper level. From craft breweries to biker bars, antique stores to surf shops, farmers markets to street fairs - OB has it all! Soak up that California sun and cool off in the rolling surf out front... Clap along with everyone on the beachfront as the sun dips beneath the Pacific Ocean to close out another day... Enjoy live music at Winstons or the Harp... Stroll through the artisan stalls at the Wednesdsay evening Farmers Markets on Newport Avenue... While it won't be voted the most sparkling neighborhood in San Diego the beach is always clean, the streets are safe to walk, people are friendly and the smiles stretch for miles! ”
