Park
“What to say? One of the great parks of the United States. Just head down the hill to Kezar Stadium (at the very bottom of Willard Street) and you'll see the GGP right beyond it (walk around Kezar to the west to enter the park). You can also enter on Stanyan and Haight (and at many other points). Enjoy the Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, the Conservatory of Flowers (great night time light shows in the summer and winter) and many, many other features of the park.”

“Beautiful (and easy) hiking trail overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Pick a sunny day for the views although I also love the misty fog or as we call him, Karl the Fog! He even has his own instagram @KarlTheFog ”

“"Just as the Golden Gate Park meets the Pacific Ocean, you will encounter a historically central building filled with interesting features, as well as an assortment of respectable edibles. The building, set in a Spanish colonial design, is significant in itself, serving as the last built design of architect, Willis Polk, who was well quite known in the San Francisco community. Overall, the Beach Chalet and Park Chalet each possess their own sense of welcoming style when it comes to entertaining the flocks of people who stop by for a bite to eat, a sight to greet, or a decent drink to bring in the night."”

“If you love pizza, you must go to Pizzetta 211 for lunch or dinner. It is a block away and they don't take reservations, but the wait isn't usually too long. Best pizza ever! (And be sure to have dessert...)”

Zoo
“Although the name of this popular Golden Gate Park attraction suggests you will encounter a gang of buffalo, you will actually have the pleasure of viewing the behavioral patterns of the American bison. Located next to Spreckels Lake, pieces of history lumber across an enclosed field of green. Since the 1890s, the bison have become a treasured tradition about the park, serving as a remembrance of the illustrious Wild West.”

“Love the tacos, one of the best tacos in the city! They use grass-fed meat for their beef tacos, and it shows in the flavor. Also, the happy hour (4-6 pm daily) with one dollar margaritas should not be missed. :)”
