The house is really great with amazing views down to the city. Like some others have commented, the spiral staircase is a little narrow so take that into consideration. The walk down to the city center is less than 10 minutes and is a great walk. The tower itself is very unique and we had an great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Readers, The house is amazing with an awesome view of the city. It's a 2 story house excluding the ground floor with bedroom on 1st and 2nd floor. If you have trouble climbing the narrow staircase then please avoid this place. The staircase are spiral and you might have issues. But overall this is a great place to live and very close to downtown. Great value for the price

You have to see this place to experience what an amazing place it is. The design and decor are incredible. And in the yard you have your own little private world complete with lime trees that drop fruit for your cervesas.

Super special place - the Tower is exactly as advertised and very characterful. Good facilities throughout (kitchen, bathroom etc) and a really nice atmosphere. Peaceful and a short walk (downhill) to town. Note there's a narrow spiral staircase to the upper 2 floors - but it just adds to the charm. Recommended.

You will love Myra’s place. We loved the location as it was across the street from Fabrica Aurora and only a 12 minute walk to the centre. There are a couple of restaurants at Fabrica that Are good if you don’t want to go far but really there are just so many to choose from only 10 minutes away! We loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoons and met many wonderful people as well. The condo is well equipped and Myra is the best host we have ever had! We thoroughly enjoyed our week! I would recommend this condo for sure!

Great condo, very clean in a great complex.. the condo is in a quiet community, it’s only a 12 min walk to the historical center. I highly recommend this unit to anyone that is thinking of going to San Miguel because I would book it if available if I go back.

This was a great place to stay! It’s very close to city center and we were able to walk to all our destinations within a 5-15 minute walk! So convenient! It was very clean and the space is beautiful and unique. The rooftop terrace is great! We enjoyed our stay here. The check in process is so easy and the hosts respond quickly, as well.

Travelled solo to San Miguel and stayed in the loft for 3 nights. It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the main sites to see. This helped me feel a lot safer because i could go out at night and walk back home by myself. The place was clean, well maintained and the terrace was beautiful for an afternoon drink. Would definitely stay again.

We were lucky enough to be able to spend 2 weeks at Casa Tranquila. San Miguel de Allende is a magical place and Casa Tranquila makes it all the better. The location is perfect -- just a few blocks up the hill from Jardin so the balcony and the terrace upstairs have phenomenal views. The apartment is stylish with modern furniture and chic Mexican decor. It's roomy, spotless and set up with thoughtful amenities -- think charging ports beside the bed and in the living room, hair dryer, reading lamps, laundry facilities, cooking utensils, condiments for cooking... Christian is always quick, accommodating, and kind in his communication. Casa Tranquila is the best!

I spent three days in San Miguel staying here and had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable, well furnished, and has every amenity I needed. It’s also just a beautiful house from top to bottom. The location is hard to beat and the view from the terrace is outstanding. The communication with the host was excellent and they offered very clear instructions for our stay. Just an amazing experience at a great house.

This is a lovely, quaint apartment right in the heart of SMA. It has a great view of the city from the nearly private mirador. It’s simply a great place to stay!

Christian's house is very beautiful. Great location, beautiful view, and antique furniture made us happy. And Christian often sends us messages so we don't feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend this house. The five days of San Miguel de Allende were very happy.

Christian was very communicative and had a beautiful place. We had one issue (our bad, not his) and he was very kind and understanding, the management quickly came and took care of everything. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, the apartment is spacious, it is all very near the main square. I would note that the bed is not a queen, but rather a full size, in US standard bed sizes. Thanks for everything!

We loved this apartment! The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, feels warm and inviting and we were happy coming back to it every evening after a long day of exploring. It’s only a very short walk to the heart of town but far enough that you won’t get all the foot traffic/noise. We also took a break from the busy town one evening and enjoyed the beautiful sunset with a bottle of wine from the comfort of our own terrace.

The location is really unbeatable, it is in front of a market, the loft is very comfortable, has a lot of style and is wider than what is seen in the photos. The only thing is that it does not have a kitchenette but with so much rich thing that you have to eat outside practically or need it.

The loft is really nice, with modern decor and a great shower. The location is good too, being a pretty easy walk to most things you might want to do. And Uber works great in San Miguel for sights that are farther away. There is a great market across the street where can find lots of unique gifts and plenty of places for good breakfasts. Checking in is easy, using a lock box and directions sent to you before you arrive. This is so much easier than waiting for the owner or manager to show up to check you in. We highly recommend staying here.

The place is very beautiful and you have everything nearby. You can walk downtown or to the handicraft market. The place is super quiet and you wake up smelling of coffee.

An exceptional place, very quiet and extremely safe, accessible to walk a little towards the city center, also in front of good art galleries and restaurants.

My partner and I spent a fabulous three weeks at Mike's casa . We loved it so much, we have already booked it for next year. The property is both stylish and very comfortable. I spent many an afternoon, on the ground floor patio looking at the garden. And the rooftop deck is terrific. We appreciated the great cupboard space, excellent beds, the fluffy white towels, and lots of hot water for showers. Alma, the housekeeper, comes in twice a week to tidy things up, which is very welcomed. The internet worked like a charm, and we loved the fireplace for those cool early mornings in San Miguel. In terms of the neighborhood, it has everything within a 7-10 minute walk. Great bakeries, restaurants and the famous San Miguel Organic Market is just around a few corners. Mike is an extremely attentive host. We had a small problem one day and he immediately got workers over to the house to fix it. Thank you, Mike!!!!! See you next year.

Mike's place is beautiful! We loved the art throughout the house and the rooftop is lovely. Many places in SMA are right on the street and therefore very loud ( to me) as the cars roll by. Mike's is set back with a long entrance through a courtyard and I loved how quiet it was. I have stayed in many neighborhoods in SMA and for connivence to so many places this is my favorite neighborhood. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Nice house in a convenient location. You can see the centro area and the cathedral from the rooftop terrace and it's great place for morning coffee or drinks in the afternoon/evening. We even got to watch the fireworks from there on New Years eve. It's about a 15 minute walk to the centro area and there are several small restaurants closer to the house. Mike was a wonderful host. His suggestions and guide book are helpful so be sure to read them before your arrival. We hope to return again soon.

Spent a week in San Miguel de Allende and stayed at Mike's place in the San Antonio neighbourhood. Private, closeby to town, felt like a home. Would stay there again. Thx

We had a lovely stay at Casa Christina. The upstairs patio got a lot of use during our vacation, lots of sunsets shared with our friends, early morning bebidas, and afternoon happy hour. There is a panaderia nearby in the evening with fresh pan dulce and an amazing taco place in the alley ( i suggest the castillos/ribs). Great location to galavant around the city and enjoy it's many wonders.

Our family of four (with two children) spent more than three weeks at Casa Christina and loved it. Such a glorious town to explore and the house was a cosy, welcoming, well equipped home to retire to in the evening. Our girls loved their language classes at Centro Mexicana just around the corner. We loved watching hummingbirds nest in the garden and the lovely sunny roof terrace was perfect. Thanks Mike.

It has been a formidable stay since the apartment (as shown) and the divine environment are very beautiful. In addition to super clean. It is very safe since surveillance is always pending. It is very close to the center and this allows you not to use the car to know many places walking for hours and perceiving how beautiful San Miguel de Allende is. Perfect location. Close to center but off in its own neighborhood. Beautifully appointed decor with local crafts and modern touches. A studio but not a studio. Spacious sleeping, kitchen , living area, small terrace with fountain. Hosts very helpful and accommodating. Two weeks went by in a flash of just hanging out in a charming abode, walking the streets and people watching in el Jardin. We will definitely return to casita Mimosa when we return to San Miguel. Thanks to our wonderful hosts.

The casita is on a quiet street close to the central garden. Security is good and access is easy. The apartment is very clean and charming with full kitchen, bath, nice bed, wi-fi, cable tv and fireplace. Ron is very helpful with advice.

I had an amazing experience at Casita Mimosa. I arrived at almost 7 pm on New Year's Eve and Ron was there to greet me. His orientation was excellent and covered all the features of the casita. Casita Mimosa cannot be captured in photographs. It was even better in person. I loved the tall ceilings and a sense of space that you can't achieve in photographs. All the materials used in the casita are top notched. The floor to ceiling glass tiled shower was my favorite. Ron and Liz were terrific hosts. Ron was kind enough to spend a Saturday with me, eventually ended up at the Saturday market, Mercado Sano. I joined Ron and Liz for wine and cheese early one evening and it was lovely. Due to the length of stay, I had maid service in the middle and she did a great job cleaning and straightening. I was afforded total privacy and I could peak my head into their garden if I had questions. I not only had great hosts but I also have new friends when I next return to magical San Miguel de Allende.

Where to begin? This was my first international trip, and I was flying solo. Ron and Liz made every aspect of my trip absolutely wonderful. The Casita is full of lovely, thoughtful details. It is perfectly situation in the heart of El Centro. And Rob and Liz are just the loveliest people. They made what could have been a bumpy trip into smooth-l sailing . They really care that their guests have a positive experience. And their eye to detail is amazing. I loved staying here. Words don't do it justice!

Sometimes I wonder about the validity of reviews that give 5 stars for every category. Well, this one deserves it. The space, the location and the hosts are all 5 star. It is as cute as the pictures, clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Situated on a very quiet street with no traffic, it is a short uphill walk to el jardin. Local busses at either end of the block. Close to San Juan de Dios mercado. Ron and Liz could not have been more helpful with information starting with how to get to SMA and the casita, and lots of helpful hints on where to get what you want in town. The people working with them (Marta and Pedro) are simply great folks. So, all good.

It is a great accommodation, very comfortable, safe and clean. We felt at home. We enjoy your terrace with a beautiful sunset. There are truck routes that take you to a shopping center and downtown San Miguel de Allende. You can still perceive the tranquility of a town. Gaby is very friendly and kept an eye on our needs at all times. Very complete accommodation.

Gabby’s apartment was clean and she demonstrated excellent communication. We were disappointed in the view across the street ( trash & broken down cars) from the apartment although I understand that Gaby does not have control over other people’s property.

A very nice place, excellent for a stay in San Miguel de Allende. It is on the outskirts of the historic center, pass truck and taxi routes. In the garage fits a medium sedan car. The terrace at the top offers a great view of the sunset. In the morning you wake up the singing of the roosters of the neighbors. Gaby and his dad (he received us) are very kind and attentive. Without a doubt this is one of the best places where we have stayed on Airbnb.

Cesar’s place is stylish and comfy. (Pillows were so soft). Everything was perfect except for the water heater. My friends said they had a warm shower by mine was luke warm to cold. Maybe just had to wait a while to get hot? Great location though and Cesar was there for any questions or tips on restaurants or what to do. Will definitely be back! :)

Cesar was such a great host, he went out of his way to get us a second night in one of his other Airbnb’s when we decided to stay an extra night. Out truck was parked outside on the street where we felt it was quite safe (Cesar has security cameras facing the street parking for anyone with a vehicle who is wondering about security). This place is stunning! A true steal and beautiful setting. Its about a 15 minute walk to downtown. However uber works. Please note that hot tub is only heated in the evening.

This is a perfect apartment for couples visiting San Miguel! My boyfriend and I loved that it was close to the center of town and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Our favorite part of the property was the gorgeous rooftop with hot tub overlooking the city. Great to relax up there after a long day of hiking up hills and walking around town. Everything was sparkling clean and the hospitality was excellent. They have a property management company that was very responsive and even arranged our transportation door to door from our hotel in Mexico City to the apartment (then back again). Really made the experience easy and relaxing for us.

I had a wonderful stay in this clean, bright and very large studio, which is perfectly located in Centro, close to the Cathedrals, museums, galleries, shops, restaurants--and right around the corner from a wonderful language school. It is very well appointed, with a modern kitchen, beautiful new bath and huge king size bed. The thick walls and high windows, along with two ceiling fans, keep the temperature inside very comfortable, but there is also a modern heating/cooling system, if need be. I did not find the need for any heat or air conditioning, because it was always comfortable. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did--you will be a few short blocks from the center or town and everything it has to offer!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Gated secure complex was able to drop bag early with security guard at front gate. 50 feet from the FUN AND AMAZING Fabrica Aurora art complex. Only criticism is weak wifi router only works in half of the not very big place.

Alin’s apartment is the best when we were in Mexico. It locates in a nice community. It’s sparkling clean and the bed is very comfortable. It takes about 10 mins walk to the center and there are some small cafes on the way, so you can enjoy a good breakfast before your exploring of SMA. I will definitely recommend Alin’s place to everybody.

It has an excellent location because it is 10 minutes walk from the Center and there is no major problem to get in and out by car. The private is very quiet perfect to rest. Alin is a great hostess, very attentive and friendly, she always showed availability for any question. It is a small stay has everything you need and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The place is super nice and clean, has everything you need, excellent location just 10/15 min walk to the parish, during the trip there are several restaurants and main shops for shopping. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, you can simply burn something. On the second floor, the room is clean, the landlord lives next door, and you can park outside.

Marilú is one of the best hosts I have had the opportunity to meet, he was always on the lookout for our arrival, he answered immediately, he even gave us information on how to move from the Guanajuato airport to the airbnb. The apartment is ideal, small, but the rooms are spacious and very comfortable; It has everything you need for a pleasant stay, it was also very clean and the arrival is not complicated. There are grocery stores nearby, in addition to a meal where they can be stocked with pantry if they are going to last several days in San Miguel. Although the center is not so close walking there are many easy and safe options to reach, the most economical is by the purple bus that passes in front of the meal, costs 8 pesos and leaves you in the historic center that you can walk on foot; for the return you can use that same bus or you can also ride in uber or taxi (the price between them does not vary much). I highly recommend this department.

We arrived in San Miguel de Allende on a very cold day. The flannel sheets and soft blankets were really appreciated There is a Comor grocery store 5 minutes walk away that has everything you may need. Several restaurants close by and it is a 15 minute Uber to the main square Marilu is a great host. Quick to respond with suggestions and to follow up to make sure everything is ok

It’s an amazing heavenly place. The house decorations are unbelievable, you’ll never experienced that in other places. Beds are soft, bathroom is a garden. Everything essential is provided. The location is really central and easy to find. Host is so friendly and helpful. Would high recommend anyone visits SMA.

A cozy house, like being in your own house. Many simple but nice details. Wide. Two blocks from downtown San Miguel de Allende. Despite being on a busy street, no noise was heard. Clean. Impeccable sheets and towels and towels. Coat for others. Full kitchen. Aleida lives next door, that makes things easier if necessary. Would no doubt. Highly recommended!

Aleida was nice enough to let us check-in late and also leave our luggage behind for our late flights. The house itself is absolutely charming, carefully decorated with pictures of San Miguel as well as local art pieces. Not only was it very close to the center (about 2 blocks from the cathedral), we also felt very secure with the two front gates. You need to walk up the stairs to get to the bedrooms and the full bath, but it's worth it. The bedrooms were perfect for two people each. The best part was the bathroom. I loved the yellow embossed tiles, little garden, and HUGE bath tub. The waterfall showerhead was also a plus. Book today! You won't regret it.

Sra was pretty flexible. I was able to check in early. And the location is nice! Only comment is some room doesnt have window. And you can hear almost everything from next room or from the hall way. But other than that i think it was well located and pretty cute place. I liked it!

Very central located. I stayed in number 2 which is located inside the court yard and has no noise from the street. I really liked there was a gas fireplace, and everything was very clean and in good condition. The only thing to improve on was the internet connection. Will recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende.

Jim is, by far, the most generous and gracious host we've encountered in the years we've used Airbnb. He went above and beyond what was required of a host. Jim provided us daily recommendations of activities he thought we would enjoy, gave us insider tips on life in SMA and generally made us feel like family. His casa is spacious, beautifully appointed and quiet. (The beds are very comfortable!) It is located in a neighborhood of local residents just up the hill from the center of town. I would highly recommend staying at Jim's casa during your travels to San Miguel de Allende.

This place is beautiful. We were traveling with a teen and she had her own room, and bathroom--needless to say she enjoyed her privacy. This place is in the neighborhood and a bit away from downtown, but it is not far, a simple taxi ride gets you to downtown in 5-10 minutes. If you enjoy walking it is totally doable for those who enjoy walks. You get to walk with the locals, see all the small local shops, and then make it to the center where all the major stuff is. There are plenty of hills to get a nice workout.

This was a beautiful home and it more than spacious to accomodate three adults and one minor. The garden in myopinion, is the best feature. It seems like your in a private garden, cut off from everyone else. Its also very close to Centro....just leave your high heels and dress shoes at home.....for you will be walking alot. Were planning on returning again, and will stay with Jim.

Gorgeous property and Casita. It is unique and well appointed. Jim is a fantastic host. It is not really 3 bedrooms though. There is a private downstairs bedroom, the upstairs rooms are lofts with screens. In the winter be sure to bring warm clothes , we hit a cold snap right before Xmas and it was 37 degrees in the morning and only a couple of portable propane heaters that could not even come close to heating the very spacious open concept main room and lofts. I would stay there again though, but perhaps in warmer weather. I'm sure the house would be cool even in hot weather.

Jim’s house was a really fun place to stay in SMA. The house itself is large: 2 stories and a rooftop! It has firm beds , large bathrooms, a good kitchen, plenty of hot water, and balconies off the bedrooms. It’s clean , comfortable and homey. In addition to all of that, Jim is a cool guy and a wonderful host. He was respectful of our privacy but available if we wanted suggestions on what to do, where to eat, and where to watch the sunset. I highly recommend staying here. The hills into town are downhill and take a little getting used to because of the cobblestones, so that may be a consideration for some travelers. Getting back to the house was easy — take a taxi.

It is a super cozy and comfortable house, Jim is an excellent host who welcomed us with a small introduction and recommendations of places to visit, taxis, and restaurants. Also with sweet bread and fruit. And on Sunday morning before leaving with some rich tamales, he was always attentive to any detail. The house is super close to the center, and very quiet you feel a lot of peace, and a beautiful sunrise. We will definitely return. Thanks for everything Jim you are the best.

Jim was a wonderful host. He greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a brief history of his place there in SMDA. He had a written list of suggestions of places to go, taxis, take out, etc. He also has a separate house on the property where he lives so he is close by if you need anything . His house has a beautiful garden entrance and the interior is very quaint and well kept. On Sunday morning, he delivered some delicious Mexican tamales that were out of this world !! This is a wonderful Airbnb for anyone visiting SMDA

This beautiful property is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood, 10-12 minutes easy walk to the center. It was just as shown on Airbnb. We had a truly comfortable, relaxing and safe stay. The house has a large and fully equipped modern kitchen for those who want to cook for their vacation. There were 3 fireplaces, a large living room, a charming private courtyard with barbecue and a shared courtyard. The upstairs has a walking in shower, a murphy bed and a fireplace. Dowstairs bedroom has a bath and 1.5 bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. There were plenty towels and blankets. There are washer and dryer on the property as well. This property is managed by a property management service. Carlos was the manager when we were there. He was very responsive and professional. At our request, he arranged professional private shuttle to pick us up from the airport and sent us off to the airport. They were prompt, polite and professional. Of course you can easily use Über or taxi to save some money if you wish. The housekeeping was very good as well. Having a professional manager makes things even more convenient. The house is in the back yard. So it is quiet except the neighborhood roosters in the morning. In the neighborhood, there is a charming Cafe Eluney which offers incredible healthy and delicious food and drinks with a rooftop patio, literally 2 blocks from the house. There is also a small Cafe Tal further down for a simple breakfast and coffee/cappuccino. A convenience chain store Oxxo is 7 minutes away where you can get refreshment drinks and juices. The location of this property couldn’t be better. if you don’t want to walk at all, Taxi or Über are reliably available and cost about $1.5 to $2.5 in and around town. The host responded to email anytime except when she was sleeping.

Patricia’s home was just as beautiful as seen in the photos! Easy walking distance to city center, and the host provided wonderful materials about San Miguel de Allende. The house was bright and roomy which made it very comfortable and I felt very much at home. I would definitely return to her home.

New construction. Spacious and clean. Great television. Large kitchen. Very secure. Check in handled very professionally by property manager. Be prepared for extra checkout fee of $25 USD if you check out on a Sunday or holiday. Taxi service was quick and easy if you don’t bring a car. If something doesn’t work, response is very quick to fix it. Space was just right for two couples.

The Topaz is even more beautiful and romantic than it appears on line - almost like a set out of Casablanca! Our host helped us so much with travel details before we ever arrived and was a wonderful resource for food and activities! It was clean, comfortable, romantic and cozy! We loved the view, the peacefulness and a fireplace to snuggle beside at night and to warm us in the morning! Beautiful crisp, cool weather! We felt totally safe in San Miguel. The people are always so helpful and friendly. We were out at night in the plaza, walked everywhere in town and walked to the wonderful hilltop restaurant with view near us at night! Families and children were everywhere enjoying the evenings out! It is on a hill and as seniors we choose a taxi to help us get back home. These were safe and plentiful and just cost a few dollars! We are planning to go back! San Miguel deserves being listed in 2018 and 2019 as the most beautiful city in the world by Travel and Leisure Magazine! Thank you Bebe for a great stay!

We stayed at Casita Topaz for a 3 day stay that we had at San Miguel de Allende. The location is only about a 10 minute walk from the center and half of that if you take a taxi or the bus. Take the walk, you get some awesome pictures walking down the streets and alleys that go toward the center. The interior of la casita is gorgeous. You’ll appreciate the design, the furniture, the light fixtures, and the big windows leading to your terrace. It’s spectacular. Having the housekeeper come in to the house so helpful too. All in all, the stay was great. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

What can you expect from accommodation? EVERYTHING is super recommended by my fiance and for me, we loved it since we arrived, his wife received us super well, recommended places. Very pretty and kind. He was always on the lookout for us any questions answered us super fast. The place is very safe and beautiful the center is super close you can walk without any worries. The house is beautiful !! If in the photos she looks pretty in person, it is sometimes better! The super comfortable bed has a very nice view. It is close to the viewpoint, everything is close without a doubt we would stay there without thinking. We want to return from how happy we were, it was a beautiful experience. There was a day that we didn't go out to enjoy the house and the view of how much we liked it. It is seriously recommended in every way. This is a perfect place especially if you arrive in a vehicle....the house has a garage. The home is situated in a gated community, and there is a guard at the gate for added security. We never took the vehicle into the heart of the city as there are very few parking spots. Two blocks from this community is a bus stop that comes by every 10-15 minutes, the ride takes you right to the heart of the city. It only costs like 8 or 9 pesos...super cheap or you can get a taxi for about $50-$60 pesos. Our host Isaí was wonderful...if I had any type of question regarding the house, he responded immediately. Thank you Isaí your patience and your professionalism.

Heather’s place is terrific. It’s in a wonderful location. There are three distinct outdoor, private spaces that makes this a great place to stay Heather was very helpful, and gave us some good recommendations.

The suite is exactly as described. Very comfortable. We had a few chilly days and there were lots of heaters, blankets, etc. To keep us cozy. The upstairs bedroom and rooftop are wonderful. Heather was available on site. Lovely dogs and cat. It’s an easy walk to Centro with lots of amazing restaurants and cafes. Store just around the corner. Highly recommend this AirBnB.

Paradise. Beauty of nature everywhere on the property. Private and comfortable. The beds and the sheets were amazingly comfy. Well-appointed in every way. Be ready for stairs. The views after you climb up are worth it. Heather and her staff are kind and generous. Her tips for SMA were spot on. We (two women friends) felt very safe. Close to all that was fun and interesting. We took Ubers which were cheap and fast. Overall, a 12 out of 10!

I am so happy that we got to stay in Heather’s place. It was so lovely! The location was ideal for us. Very close to the center of town, but just outside enough to not be in the midst of the noise and busy crowded streets that you find in the main center. Her garden creates a little oasis in which you feel like you are in your own secret garden. Just heavenly! I loved her neighborhood. Beautiful, quiet, and not too busy. Yet close enough to walk to everything in town. The apartment was super charming and very clean. A bonus that she has a bathtub. My 1.5 year old was really happy about that. ;) Heather was also available to chat or answer any questions we had. She was also sweet enough to let me borrow her shawl for a couple nights (I had not packed enough warm clothes for the San Miguel winter. It gets very cold at night!) It was also sweet to have her two little dogs and special cat Tigre around too for some animal love. I highly recommend staying here. You’ll get a true San Miguel experience!

We loved our stay at Heather's place. The house is very comfortable and the garden is so beautiful.

This lovely unique home is a special retreat, with pets in a lovely garden, birds in the flowering trees, an open air kitchen and sunny, rooftop patio. Heather is a lovely hostess with helpful tips and immediate attention to any needs that may arise..

This was my first time having the host living on site so I was a little apprehensive. I need not have worried. Heather is very careful about respecting the privacy of her guests but if the guests need her she is available to help. Having her on site, with her in-depth knowledge of San Miguel and Mexico, is a big advantage. Heather's house is charming. Everything I needed was provided. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The location of the house is perfect with its close proximity to the historic center, the Warren Hardy Spanish school, the markets, and the main bus station. Cira cleans the house once a week. Her standards are off the charts. Her weekly cleaning is more like something I would do once a year if I was feeling particularly virtuous. I particularly loved my light-filled yellow bedroom on the 3rd floor with private roof terraces and view of the beautiful church of the Immaculate Conception across the flowers and trees.

The minute you walk into the garden you are at peace. It is one of the most idyllic and angelic spots you could call home. Heather is the kindest, most easy to talk to host. She is a very interesting person who is there when you need her. I felt blessed to have met her and gotten to know her. Oh, and the home is phenomenal. Bedding is so comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is so easy to use and much cooler than being indoors.

The apartment is very cozy. It is, walking, 10 minutes from downtown. There are several places to eat and pass the nice card. My family was very happy to spend Christmas in San Miguel. Without hesitation he would return to the house of the Chicken.

Quiet and comfortable place, with basic services. We spent very little time in the apartment because we were away almost all day, but I have no complaints about the place. It is a little removed from the center, about 20-25 minutes walking. Communication with the host is very good, she is very kind.
