“Belizean style of cooking on a firehearth. I like their Salbutes and Tostadas and of course the National Dish of Belize Rice and Beans served with Stew Chicken and Potato Salad. Dinners are aslo great here. In town by the airstrip. Olive and Luis the owners are great hosts.”

Grocery Store
“This is a large grocery store that has most of what you will need as far as packaged or frozen items, cereal, yogurt, butter, milk etc. Grocery shopping can be a challenge on an island. There are no "healthy" foods here, mostly mass-produced sort of stuff. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES. Not recommended for fresh bread or fruits / veggies. Buy bread at The Baker across the street. Buy fresh produce at any streetside fruit stand. Any type of American chips, crackers, cookies, sweets or snacks will be crazy overpriced and likely stale and expired. ”
