Trail
“Carretera de les aigües is an old almost flat road used for the distribution of water to the city in 1901. It is currently a walk of about 9km at about 300m in the Collserola mountain range with the best views over the city and frequented by the Barcelona people for walking and cycling. One of the accesses with better public transport is with the funicular of Vallvidrera.”

Historic Site
“ The Bellesguard house was built by Antoni Gaudí between 1900 and 1909. Bellesguard is inextricably bound up with the history of Catalonia. What makes it exceptional is that Gaudí built a castle using rectilinear forms, rarely seen in his other work, and that it is a blend of Art Nouveau and Gothic style.... highly recommended”

Park
“When you pass through the gate into the Jardins de La Tamarita, you enter a Barcelona that takes you back to a time when the bourgeoisie were building themselves mansions surrounded by gardens in the upper part of the city. These gardens are a good place for a rest and some peace and quiet, far from the madding crowd, on the other side of the stone and wrought-iron wall that surrounds the gardens, built to safeguard a space that was once private and which is now public. SCHEDULE: From 1 November to 31 March (every day), 10:00h to 19:00h. From 1 April to 31 October (every day), 10:00h to 21:00h. Closing time approximate, depending on the solar time (closed after dark in the evening). Sections from this amenity Children's Play Area”
