We are so grateful we got to experience Julia’s space in our short time in Santa Barbara. It’s super cozy with many thoughtful touches, Would highly recommend! Location is great, outdoor shower is refreshing and the space is so wonderfully decorated with much intention.

Leo & Daniela’s place is cozy and in a really great location! It was a quick uber to bars and restaurants. We had a group of 10 girls (which we managed with the air mattress, couch, and pull-out) but I’d say the home suits 6-8 more comfortably. Regardless, we had an awesome time. Great open living room and kitchen, as well as an adorable back patio with an avocado tree. Bring your own toiletries! Thanks for having us Leo!

Great Host and Great Place

Charming house with a beautiful back patio, kitchen, and common spaces. The upstairs bedroom is a shared space. Hosts were very responsive and nice. Great location in terms of proximity to state street and only a 5 minute Uber to the beach. The appliances were great. Highly recommend.

Comfortable stay with a nice kitchen and backyard outdoor space to use. We loved being able to walk to State St. You can tell that Leo and Daniela have put a lot of love into the place.

My friends and I loved staying at this little cottage. It was a little tight for 4 people but we managed well and had a really good time. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos in the listing. Would recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our time here! Nestled in a perfect location, we were able to walk to the beach within 10 minutes. The place itself was immaculate and comfortable. While we didn't cook during our stay, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to prepare a meal. The yard allowed us to enjoy morning coffee in a lovely patch of sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very cozy and great proximity to the beach.

Wonderful option when visiting SB. Private cottage a short walk away from beautiful Butterfly Beach and great restaurants and bars. Easy access to coastline drive or the 101 into SB. Cottage is nicely appointed and comfortable for a couple or two traveling companions- I Most highly recommend Jennifer’s cottage.

This cottage is truly special, offering a private and beautifully furnished home-away-from-home. I have had a bad experience with AirBNB in the Santa Barbara area, so was a little nervous. But Jennifer was very responsive and clear in her communication, and when we arrived, everything about the cottage exceeded my expectations. It has its own kitchen, which is well-stocked, and even a small fenced-in yard with lounge chairs, a table and chairs, and a BBQ grill. The bed was super comfortable, and everything really was sparkling clean. I hope to return someday!

If you're looking for a place close to downtown SB but somewhat removed in a quiet neighborhood then this is it! Being located next to the preserve offered great views as well as many running routes. Seamless check in with Marie's husband. We traveled with our toddler and they were gracious enough to provide a PNP. Accommodations were exactly as described. Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable. Kitchen had all you needed although we only used the fridge and cutting board. Daily cleaning was available if desired. Marie and her husband were quick to respond to texts. They let us use their washer/dryer and even folded the clothes! Marie also provided fresh strawberries to share :-) They were the best Airbnb hosts we have had so far!

Such a cute little place near everything you need including a hike to see some of the most beautiful sunsets.

My stay at Marie’s home was delightful. She communicated the things I needed to know. It is a beautiful private space, with all of the amenities that one could need.

This is what an AirBnB should be, beautiful home, lovely neighborhood. We went for hiking and birds and were very happy. Recommend Douglas Nature Reserve, the beach, Coal Oil Point, Rattlesnake Canyon. Pay attention to the tides>

This lovely, clean suite is exactly as posted. Quiet, close to great beach walks and in a safe neighbourhood. We loved our stay with Marie, who was polite and helpful.

Sparkling clean place at a great price! This was exactly what my wife and I wanted as we made our way down through California for a PCH drive for our baby moon. Check-in was super easy and our host was incredibly detailed oriented with instructions for anything you can think of as well as lightning fast responses. Thanks!

The pictures of La Maison do not do it justice! It comfortably slept all 12 of us, and had space for all of us to sit down for meals together. The location can’t be beat. Wine tasting, shopping, and eating are less than a 20 minute walk from place. Thank you so much Rachael for a great stay!

Very satisfied, especially clean and tidy. There are also many children's toys, and some communication problems I showed when I booked, and one person actually moved in. After eight people communicated clearly, they were perfectly resolved.

Rachael was very welcoming and check-in was incredibly smooth. She made sure we had everything we needed well before our stay. There is plenty of room and the home is very clean. The true highlight of this place is that EVERYTHING is within walking distance. My group took the train up from Orange County and we did not need an Uber/Lyft ride for anything.

AMAZING! We loved our stay at Rachael's home. The location couldn't be better, and to have so much off-street parking space was great. She has styled the home beautifully and with lovely little touches. Our welcome amenity was a nice suprise and delight. The rooms are comfortble, quiet, dark ... we slept very well. And Rachael is accommodating, quick to communicate and help, and such a sweet person. We will definitely book her home again.

Jennifer’s place is absolutely beautiful. Her welcoming energy is great which makes the place even better. Her recommendations for places to visit were spot on. The glass cottage was amazing. Waking up to the sound of woodpeckers and birds was delightful as was falling asleep under the stars while listening to frogs and toads made my heart happy. Everything was just so wonderful. The photos of the restroom gave it no justice as it was extremely cute and private. This is a great place for any couple or for someone who just wants to get away from the city and enjoy some tranquility. There’s so many great things about this place but you’ll have to visit to enjoy them yourself. 😊

What a wonderful place to stay. A unique experience in nature.

Oh everything was quite excellent. It's a really unique place, with the mirrors on the outside reflecting the world and the glass panels on the wall opposite the foot of the bed looking out into lovely nature. We didn't both to close the curtains because we enjoyed looking out so much. Jennifer was super friendly and very quick to reply and answer questions. Her directions may seem lengthy, but once you see what she is describing it's easy as can be. We'd very much stay again if the opportunity presents itself. The pictures do tell the full story. Serene and really quiet at night. Enjoyed it immensely!

What a fabulous Gem!! Tucked into a canyon in the hills above Santa Barbara is the Glass House, surrounded by sycamore trees. Getting there with Jennifer’s instructions was super easy, the hot tub and outdoor showers were amazing. It’s just such a great place to stay, so close to town that you could get dinner but then return to a place of quiet serenity. We will totally be back. It was amazing!

My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip to Ventura for my birthday and M’Lou’s place was perfect for us! Check in was a breeze and M’Lou was very helpful and communicative. The place itself is in a quiet part of Ventura, but only a short drive to Main St and the beach. The detached guesthouse was nice and cozy with awesome amenities that made our stay so fun and relaxing!

This place is great. The space is used well so that you have everything you need in a small stay-over place. I spent 3 nights here and appreciated the local suggestions for food and activities. Very warm, private space.

M'Lou's place is compact but nicely arranged, well equipped and visually appealing. Also, it's not too far from the beaches and downtown area. Check-in/check-out was easy and the communication was very good. I recommend M'Lou's place.

Amazing host, excellent communication, charming space.

I often have to travel to the Ventura Avenue neighborhood for family reasons and this is by far my favorite place to stay. Clean, completely quiet and private, all the comforts of home. Always nice personal touches such as fresh fruit or perhaps a bottle of wine or something else interesting in the fridge. M’Lou is an excellent hostess with very quick responses. The cottage is nice and warm and snug during cooler weather but never stuffy. I highly recommend this for a solo traveler or a couple who are staying in the Ventura area.

A totally awesome deal for the price! The blinds are wood so sleeping in through early morning light is do-able and the bed is just unbelievably comfortable! Clean, cozy and stocked with all the basics. Highly recommended!

The location of Lucy’s place is ideal, we really enjoyed waking up to a beautiful view. It is close to everything that we were looking to do. I highly recommend Arroyo Burro Beach in Santa Barbara if you have a dog with you, we spent most of the day here and it was very memorable. The place itself could use a little TLC, but we really felt that for the cost and location we can’t complain. Would stay here again.

This property is absolutely amazing! We were surrounded by fruit trees including oranges, lemons, and avacados. We enjoyed the sunset each night followed by either the hot tub or the fire pit, it was just perfect! A quick escape from the Portland rain!

Perfect place for comfortable rest and sleep after being out and about all day. Great food options across the street and within short walking distance. No need to drive away for diner into downtown (which, granted, would only be a 5-7 minute drive). Keurig is a nice touch for the first morning coffee, nearby Trader Joe’s der me up for breakfast and the small kitchen had everything needed. I will look to come back again if available.

The apartment is as described in the photos, small but very comfortable, with everything you need to spend a pleasant stay. Sufficient kitchen utensils, very clean, soap, shampoo and rinse. Very comfortable access walking to the different sites of the city. Free parking

This studio has everything a traveler to Santa Barbara could want - comfort, amenities and location. This adobe style home is perfectly located to walk to great coffee shops, restaurants, bars and the greater downtown area. Close to the freeway, to access all that Santa Barbara has to offer. The studio itself has everything you could need in the kitchen, and the bathroom is stocked thoughtfully. I found the bed to be particularly comfortable, and the big window was a great place to see the sunset over the garden outside. I had a great stay and would choose it again.

The place was clean, in a convenient location, and accommodated all of our needs during our one night stay. Quick and easy check in and communication with George. There was some stomping and noise from above in the early evening and in the morning, but that couldn’t be helped and didn’t bother us too much. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

The place was so nice to just relax in and very cozy. The host was definitely one of the best parts with getting back to me fast and giving many options for my fiance and I to do, it really made our stay even better i would really love to stay here again.

Cute private studio not far from downtown Santa Barbara (<10mins). There's coffee, lots of extra blankets, and a space heater. The space was clean and pretty spacious. The TV has Netflix and a bunch of other ways to watch shows. Overall, it was a nice spot to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Great place to stay! Super close to everything in Santa Barbara! The only cons was that the Internet was a little slow, so for people looking to get work done in the space be prepared to be patient. Also, the walls are very thin, so you might here the children next door running around a bit. Overall, it was an amazing experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Bright place in a cute neighborhood. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was perfectly comfy for a good night sleep and there's a stylish table and chairs for enjoying a glass of wine or morning coffee. The parking was perfect, inside the complex and convenient. Cheerful bathroom with nice rug and towels and a window in the shower with a view a big oak tree.

Arlene's house is up the hill, in beautiful surroundings and with great views of the mountains. I stayed for 3 months and she really made me feel at home and welcome. It is not the most modern house, but it has lots of character. Stay here if you're looking for a homy place!

Arlenes home is quite a unique beauty, nestled in hills with beautiful views of the surrounding area and with a fantastic garden overlooking the mountains. I loved going out every day to admire a wonderful mix of plants and to observe an active and diverse bird population :) Arlene was super friendly and lives an inspiring and interesting life, full of vibrant dance classes and humanitarianism at multiple levels. Her home is perfect for the open minded traveler curious for a unique and interesting experience around people living lives of truth. Thank you Arlene for being an accommodating host!!

I haven't left Arlene's but had switched from one room to another in order to extend my stay. Everything I said in an earlier review is still true. It's magical here and under 20 minutes to most places including the beach. For me it's the best of both World's. Arlene is a wonderful host that I now consider a treasured friend.

I had wonderful 4.5 weeks at Arlene’s place and her pictures her gave me the right impressions on what to expect. I travelled on my own and this place was perfect for this: Arlene is very welcoming and I even had a nice roommate who rented the other room. So I never felt lonely on my vacation. I loved the views, the garden and all those little chipmunks and sometimes deer that you could see around the garden - as well as Arlene’s two dogs. Arlene’s place is very nice with a lot of little details like a billion little lights outside that you can admire during the dark. If you like a rest during the day you can sit on the front deck and relax. I did not rent a car and if you want to relax in Santa Barbara this is not necessary. I totally loved walking down the hill (to the „Old mission“) and did this almost every day. Sometimes I even walked until I reached downtown. In total I walked a lot and found this very nice and relaxing. You can take the waterfront shuttle once you reach the Arlington theatre and get a lift for 0.50 USD up and down State St. Otherwise I used Lyft and Uber for reaching my destinations (mostly about 10 USD/ride for reaching destinations in Santa Barbara). I would always go back if I came again to Santa Barbara!!

Arlene was such a sweet and kind host. She makes sure that you are comfortable and that everything you need is taken care of. The view from the house is beautiful and the area is very peaceful. I truly enjoyed my stay at this awesome house.

Arlene's place is on the quiet side of the hills above the city giving a rural feel with mountain views but still close enough to downtown, a ten minute drive away. I liked to sit on the deck in the garden drinking a coffee while reading or taking in the panorama. Arlene herself is very friendly and always ready to chat or help her guests. The rooms are probably best suited for travelers staying longer term, weeks or months rather than days.

It is a lovely place! Tasteful, fully equipped, great location, heated pool, beautiful garden. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

The home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. It is also just a short drive to downtown Santa Barbara. The hosts were so thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed and more! It was perfect for a mini weekend getaway.

This place is 99% perfect. Fresh citrus, swimming pool surrounded by beautiful plants and a spacious patio with ample tables, chairs and privacy. The house is a wonderful display of artwork and lighting. Kitchen very well equipped and a modern laundry. Couldn’t ask for more.

We are an elderly couple from Wisconsin and like to travel to a warmer climate in January. Casa Monelly has been a perfect place for our wishes. The location in Santa Barbara is convenient, quiet, and ideal for walking or biking. The kitchen is very well equipped. We prepared nearly all our meals in house. There is plenty of citrus on the property for your use, but available only in season. The artwork and decor inside and on the patio are spectacular! The patio features a heated pool for swimming, wonderful plantings, a bbq, and several places to enjoy a meal and conversation out of doors. We like that the owners, Bill and Ricardo live on the premises. They are very helpful and care for our comfort. Yet our privacy is ensured because of the configuration of the property and buildings. It’s been a home away without the concerns of maintenance.

William went above and beyond expectations of what I thought would be a good experience, was a great experience. I’m already planning my next trip to Santa Barbara. They gave us wonderful tips, showed us how to use all the amenities and trust me, there’s a lot. I think I found my second home, I can’t wait to go back to Cali!

Casa Monelly is a lovely home with charming touches. It is very clean and with a heated pool ! The hosts are fantastic. Kind and patient. It is all well organized with great amenities. We would love to return to this perfect artistic oasis near biking and walking trails.

This is a jewel of a rental tucked away in a convenient location. It's cozy and comfortable for one or two people. It is walkable to State Street and convenient to the 1 and 101 to get you about the area. Thomas is very communicative and hospitable!

What a great location! Its small but super cute and walkable to so many things. Coffee maker, kettle, all the extras exist and are located in the dresser...so if you are a dumb dumb like me and thought you were going to wakeup without immediate caffeine access, calm down! Thomas has you covered!!

Sweet, quiet & clean abode walking distance from Downtown Santa Barbara! We were in town for a wedding with many events on the schedule and unfortunately did not have nearly enough time to enjoy our lovely patio. Highly recommend this space for anyone in town for a weekend stay.

Stayed one night. Fantastic location, we walked to everything. Definitely small on space, but it was all we needed for the short stay. Definitely recommend for singles or couples that just want a place to crash after being out all day.

Spectacular views in one of the most pleasant locales in the world. This is a studio beneath a house (with views) and in my estimation a steal for what you get. The hosts are extremely responsive and pleasant people.

This small love shack up in the mountains is a beautiful getaway. Everything was exceptional. They had a wide selection of classic movies to spend the night as well as popcorn and snacks available to make a great weekend away from home. Tania’s place was very clean and cozy.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The room was cute and cozy. This place was sparkling clean and minutes away from downtown. The only issue we had was regarding parking. We had to circle the block several times and ended up parking a couple of blocks away. Overall, we had a great experience and it was exactly what we needed. We would stay here again.

Tania’s place served its purpose. I was in town for the weekend and wasn’t planning on much time at the space, other to change, shower and sleep at night. Access to the kitchen was nice and the house was clean. However since there are multiple rooms her and some cleaners are often in the rather small living room / kitchen area. Location is close by to state street which is nice, yet the surrounding immediate area is just residential. Definitely would consider staying here! Thanks again, Tania!

If you have work or some kind of business in Santa Barbara or Montecito, Adrian’s Cozy Room is perfect. The room is small and not overtly amentitized, which is all you want when you have to be gone all day, sometimes long day, and have no time to enjoy amenities (like nice view, outdoor patio for morning coffee, fully stocked kitchen) that you have to pay for but haven’t the time to use. I appreciate the comfortable bed and roomy ensuite bathroom, both sparkling clean. It’s quiet at night and I get good refreshing sleep, the bathroom has a great shower and a good mirror over the sink. There are electrical outlets where you need them for phone charging near the bed and in the bathroom as well for hair dryer etc. all very handy. Definitely I will stay again.

I was just crashing for a night with an unpredictable arrival time so check in by lockbox was a plus. The space was just a small room, but nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable. I was only there for 12 hours, but it did the trick. Just note that given the other rooms are also for guests, the bathroom availability may be unpredictable.

The quest house was a perfect fit for my month stay in Goleta!! The space is private, spacious, cozy with a beautiful modern bathroom, ample living pace and a full kitchen with everything you need. The bed and bedding were beyond comfortable and the questhouse offers lots of light and views of the landscape outside. It was lovely to be greeted by a sweet bunny and a family of chickens enjoying their walks on the property!

Alan and Rachael’s place was very cozy and modern. It was perfect for my travel work assignment. Having the washer and dryer in the guest house was huge for me! Alan and Rachael are very welcoming and respond immediately to any messages. The location is perfect. Just a couple blocks off the main highway which makes for easy access to anything.

Great little apartment in the back under the trees. Loved the chickens and the rabbit who greet you in the yard everyday (Max the rabbit loves his nose scratched) . Great laundry, beautiful bathroom, large kitchen, private. Alan and Rachel were great hosts without being intrusive.

This cottage is a little gem in Alan and Rachel’s backyard. It’s very stylish and quiet and stays nice and cool since it’s under the trees. Their property is lovely with chickens and little kiddos playing but you have your privacy. Alan and Rachel are amazing hosts and communicators. Their place has everything you need from laundry to cleaning supplies, etc. and makes for a great long term stay place. It fit our needs perfectly and we would definitely stay again. We have had an amazing experience and are so fortunate to have found this place in Santa Barbara.

A superb AirBnB and terrific hosts! My wife and I had an excellent month-long stay at Alan & Rachael’s place. The space is well appointed and everything is brand new and sparkling clean. On top of it, Alan, Rachael and their family are such wonderful hosts — always prompt in their responses and extending any help; regularly checking-in to ensure that we were comfortable, and even inviting us over one evening for a lovely dinner which made us feel so very welcome and at home! We loved the overall feel and all the open spaces, including the backyard, at Alan & Rachael’s property! They also have a few free roaming chickens who would occasionally come over by our entrance door and “greet” us — & this was always such a delight! All in all, an excellent experience that made our stay in Santa Barbara very memorable! My wife and I would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Alan & Rachael for their warm hospitality and we wish them the very best for the future!

Wow, this space is amazing, and even before I mentioned the wonderful hosts! Sparkling clean, beautiful touches to the place and everything you need in a home! We felt at home right away :) Alan and Rachael are super-nice and amazing hosts, and every single time we had any issue, they hurried to take care of it right away. FYI, it is recommended to rent a car, since most things are in a short drive distance.

This place was a great find for a last minute get away. The only thing that was a little odd was the water pressure in the shower it took me a minute to figure out how to get it on. Otherwise there are two fun bars not too far from here, your room is private and the host sends you detailed info for your stay.

This is a clean quiet place to rest and get back in the road. Simple and accessible, perfectly adequate for the money.

Not a place for a romantic get away. Having sex in the room is prohibited. It's a family's house so it's not absolutely quiet at times during the day. At night time was very quiet. Would stay again here again.

My stay here was excellent.everything went as Communicated. The room were clean,the house was in a great location and the check in and check out was simple and easy.Nalleys has a late check in that I really like since my days are really long. She also will respond Immediately and answer any questions you may have even if it’s late.Iam going to definitely stay here again!

The room was small but very clean with adjoing bathroom with stand up shower. The neighborhood was very Santa Barbara like and pretty. Krista and her husband Jason are very nice and friendly people.

Krista’s place was nice and comfortable, in a wonderful location for visiting Santa Barbara. It was easy to get around walking to stores and restaurants, and a quick drive to downtown and the beach. I had everything I needed, the room is cute and private with a separate entrance. Great value, I would definitely stay there again. 😊

Very spacious, comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a convenient location. The unit was clean and well furnished. There was some road noise from highway 101 a few blocks away noticed early in the morning but overall a relatively minor consideration—otherwise extremely quiet. Parking is on the street but there was not a problem finding a parking place nearby during our stay—we did note that parking was not allowed on the street on particular days but this did not apply to us. The unit is on the 2nd floor so there was not any usable outdoor space associated with the unit. There was a small unexpected step between the living room and the bedroom hallway that could cause someone to trip—there was a piece of blue tape on the floor marking it but easy to miss—be aware
