Enjoy authentic Salsa or Bachata dancing in the heart of Santo Domingo, with an experienced, professional and friendly dance instructor. We have a good balance of learning and practical dance.
We meet in Zona Colonial and visit a few of the iconic dance bars & clubs. Enjoy a friendly night full of dancing and fun. With an introduction to other dancers.
I teach salsa beginner-intermediate. Bachata. For more advanced learning I bring an additional instructor.

We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking.
After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We come back happy and with good memories to Santo Domingo at 5pm.

Fantastic Adventure to Hidden Waterfall and Three Eyes Cave
Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall.
We will meet at the meeting point in the morning, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us, while we have breakfast on board. Along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better.
When we arrive at the Cascada, Doña Ramona will wait for us, who will cook our traditional Dominican lunch (al carbon), as they used to cook in the 1900's on our island.
Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling)
We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.

Going deep into the authentic Dominican hood
We will meet at our local fishermen dock where we will start our adventure and then we will visit a local market, local shops, walk inside of the neighborhood, eat local and authentic breakfast, visit a typical house, eat (helado de fundita), visit the neighborhood’s sign and interact with the locals. We will also ride the Santo Domingo’s cable car, where you will see a good amount of colorful neighborhoods from above all the way from the national district to Northern Santo Domingo, hear their history, and also ride the Santo Domingo’s train. Then back to the meeting point. Additional: A boat ride can be included at an additional charge passing underneath six of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo, seeing the tree where Christopher Columbus tied up his ships during his visits to Santo Domingo, first university in America Christopher Columbus son’s castle, first chapel built in America and the jail where Christopher Columbus was incarcerated.
Three Eyes Caves Explore
One of the most amazing places in our Santo Domingo city is the 3 eyes Caves National Park. Discover with me the nature of the beautiful micro rainforest, the history of the aboriginal people that once used the caves, take a ride in the man pulled raft to discover the hidden 4th lake.

First thing first, let's get personal... Let's meet at a local colmado (or coffee shop if you prefer) and get to know each other, I have found the best time starts when there is confidence so let's start with that, I will also share important information about Dominican Republic and the lifestyle.
Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at the main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems.

It is an immersion in the town, where we will walk through the bustling streets of a part of Gualey, a typical community on the banks of the Ozama River full of vibrant life. Together with our community guide, get to know the interesting history of the founding of the neighborhood, daily life, how they work (markets, small shops, fish projects), how they develop in the social aspect and how they have fun (Including some beautiful cenotes with spring waters). Taste some of the city's most iconic popular foods prepared by local experts. It is also an opportunity to know the reality of the marginalized neighborhoods of the Dominican Republic listening and seeing some of their social problems and how the community is empowering itself to solve them in a creative, joyful and collaborative way.
You will see all this, and we will only walk about three and a half kilometers. It is an easy route, although on a few occasions it can be demanding just up a steep hill that we will do slowly and learning from the place. When we return, we will say goodbye with an ice cold beer listening to merengue, bachata and dembow with the locals.

You will be making chocolates right from the cacao bean, also preparying and tasting various cacao or chocolate drinks.

First thing first, let's get personal... Let's meet at a local colmado (or coffee shop if you prefer) and get to know each other, I have found the best time starts when there is confidence so let's start with that, I will also share important information about Dominican Republic and the lifestyle.
Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at the main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems.

Fantastic Adventure to Hidden Waterfall and Three Eyes Cave
Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall.
We will meet at the meeting point in the morning, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us, while we have breakfast on board. Along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better.
When we arrive at the Cascada, Doña Ramona will wait for us, who will cook our traditional Dominican lunch (al carbon), as they used to cook in the 1900's on our island.
Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling)
We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.
