Art Museum
“The National Museum of Ancient Art is the most important art museum of the 12th to 19th centuries in Portugal, hosting the most relevant public collection of ancient art in the country. [3] Its collections - some 40,000 species - include painting, sculpture, drawing and European decorative arts, as well as collections of Asian (India, China, Japan) and African (Afro-Portuguese ivory) art representative of the relations between Europe and the East following the voyages of discovery - begun in the 15th century and of which Portugal was a pioneer nation.”

Nightclub

“It opens at 8PM as a dining destination, thanks to its two restaurants (one for sushi, another for meat), and at around midnight it turns into a bar and club partying until 4AM. It's found next to the Kais restaurant, which belongs to the same group, and is the perfect destination for a cocktail on the waterfront, often to the sound of national and international DJs. The sand and the location make this as close as you get to the beach in the center of the city. It opens from Wednesday to Saturday (also on Tuesdays and Sundays during the summer).”

“he view, the snacks (the octopus with the lagareiro, € 13, is the most popular) and the cocktails (we recommend the mojitos, € 7.5) make it irresistible. Rain or shine, with or without company. The bar opened in October 2010 and is one of the best places to have a drink after dinner and watch the boats on the river or the traffic in the distance on the bridge.”

“Fado. Senhor Vinho has decades of accumulated tradition, always top talent performing, and a certain charisma than maintain it one of the most iconic cultural hubs of Fado culture in Lisbon. Almost all the main contemporary Fado singers have performed here. The prices are higher than average, but these are justified if you want to escape the most common tourist-packed lower than average restaurants. A must. ”

“Beautiful and sophisticated restaurant located at the heart of Madragoa, with a refined yet informal environment that plays host to a cuisine of international recognition, in a harmonious fusion with traditional Portuguese gastronomy. The restaurant is housed in a former XVIIth century convent.”

Italian Restaurant

“ Chiara Ferro is a full-fledged Italian cook who knows the cuisine of her home country until her marrow, but do not get her to stick pizzas that are not there in the Osteria. There are meatballs, a Sicilian bread lasagna and other dishes on the Osteria line, more tasca style, at the right prices and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for: discovering what the Italians understand as "tasca". Mandatory to taste: pasta al pesto di rapa rossa, that is, pesto de beterraba.”

“Santos, Avenida 24 de Julho and the Docks were formerly Lisbon’s port area, where there used to be old, derelict warehouses, but it went through glorious times in the 1990s, featuring at the city top.”

Bakery

“A detail-oriented French bakery in downtown Lisbon is all you can ask for when you feel like an almond croissant or a pain au chocolat, right? And if you dream of a visit to the French capital, La Boulangerie is a great choice. It is not exactly Paris, but it will transport you there through the flavours it offers and it will surely please you. With a contemporary décor that combines the old and the modern in a very natural and rustic way, a relaxed and friendly service and original walls, La Boulangerie is a great choice for a different snack, a quick lunch or a delicious brunch.”
