“If you wish to eat classic Mexican food, Mary's and The Relleno Cafe right next door are 2 classics. Also, the Taco Stand down by the bridge opens in the early evening, (before going over the bridge where 1 way streets split) and stays open into the evening. A local favorite! For great pizza, and Italian food, visit "Rustica", right in town. Also check Sayulitalife.com to search for potential desired restaurants.”

Pizza Place

“A must while in Sayulita. It’s right downtown close to the plaza. The place is really stunning, service is good, but the food is the real treat. They have wood fired pizza, great cocktails, salads, and my favourite, the mussels in a white wine cream sauce. La Rústica looks out onto the street, so great people watching as well.”

“The food here is traditional Mexican and of excellent quality at a fair price. The Molcajete bowl is wonderful and big enough for two. Don’t miss the chiles rellenos and their tortilla soup or the flambéed chicken fajitas. The nopal salad is excellent as well”

“Just right beside Burrito Revolution is Yeikame, an old school Mexican dining experience headed by a great Mexican woman chef. Her recipes have been passed by generations in her family so if you want to try authentic Mexican enchiladas, this is the place! I will probably volunteer here so she could share me her recipes!”
