Bar
“1 of 2 breweries in town that offer a Gastropub experience. Great selection of tasty beers. The space is quite unique because it's a converted brewery | restaurant | gastropub inside of an car dealership. You will have to drive down the street past Kutztown University about a few miles.. you will see it on the left side. Opposite side is a farm and cornfields. Good for a family dinner, a couple, or just a solo evening at the bar. Closes at 10pm and 11pm on the weekends.”

American Restaurant
“This unassuming restaurant is in a small strip mall just off the highway in the cute town of Orwisgsburg. It looks average in appearance, but the food is way above. Mostly New American. It’s carefully and creatively prepared with lots of refined flavors and menu options. You’ll love eating here.”

Coffee Shop
“Newly opened coffee shop as of early Summer 2018. It’s been completely renovated and nicely decorated. Really comfortable place to do work, read a book, or relax. Has wi-fi. Serves all the regular coffee drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc), teas, and some specialty drinks. They use local Mauch Chunk Coffee roasters, which is the best in the area.”

Donut Shop
Bakery
“This is hands down THE BEST bakery in the area. The breads and pastries are sophisticated and freshly made. They make artisanal breads, like fig and anise (delicious) and they also have a french toast bar on Saturdays (reservations recommended). Lots of amazing things to eat, they serve coffee too. Located in a renovated storefront in Historic Downtown Pottsville.”

“One of the few grocery stores that sell beer in PA. Also, they have a good selection of beer and wine. You can buy six packs as well.. if you head to a beer distributor you will have to purchase a case.”
