  • We stayed with Nadine and her family for one night, but absolutely wished that we had stayed more! They made us feel so very welcome right from the get go, and they are incredibly friendly hosts. They welcome you into their home and are very helpful and kind. I could not expect more from AirBnb!

  • Our host made us feel very welcome. The neighbourhood was lovely and had easy walking distance to several restaurants. The accommodation was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed and as promised. Nadine really did her best to provide a comfortable place to stay and to provide a delicious and varied breakfast every day.

A room in our house - an affordable way to have a holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. A basic room in an unmodernised ( in need of decoration ) but welcolming comfortable house.
If there are more of you, or you have children we do have another room available. We can be flexible. The room is cosy small room. It has a 4 ft double bed ( slightly narrower than normal). The house is very basic ,it is clean but not particularly modern - we tend to spend our time surfing and kayaking rather than decorating and renovating the house. Hence the very low price for two your own room in such a popular beautiful area
Some of the most beautiful coastline in the country . This is a stunning area for walking,
  • We stayed for a long weekend which we really enjoyed. Lovely location and great hosts. We will definitely come back when in Cornwall.

  • Everything was as described and expected. Sam and Tiffany were very friendly and helpful.

    Stefan2014-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Good place to stay, when walking the coast path. Although Sam wasn't there, when we arrived, everything was well organized and we easily found our way through the house and felt welcomed.

    Hannah2015-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Sam´s house for four nights. We couldn´t meet her in person, but had contact via mobile phone and everything went absolutely uncomplicated. Our room was nice, the living area and kitchen were a bit untidy and you shouldn´t have a problem to share the bathroom with some spiders. The house is in a quiet village in Cornwall, near a pretty beach and offers great opportunities for hiking, for example to Land´s End.

    Mona2015-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Due to personal circumstances we had to be moved to another room, which isn't normally used. Sam was gracious enough to offer us a refund and bottle of wine. We went to a show at the Minack Theatre and she kindly left us blankets and cushions to take along. The location was close to the beautiful coastline as well.

    Lyz2015-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sam and Tiff made me feel very welcome in their home. They were very easygoing and I felt like I could really relax as if it were my own home. Also really helpful with ideas on what to see and how to get there. This was my first experience with airBnb and it was a winner! The house is in a small village about ten minutes from the beach. No cellphone signal except at the house so a great place to unplug. Nice hot shower and heater in the rooms if you needed it. Stunning scenery and perfect for a short break.

    Kreshantha2016-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful rural views. Very gracious host.

  • Great hospitality and a cosy house, felt like staying with friends, as people were so open, friendly and easy-going :-) Definitely recommend it!

  • We had a fantastic stay at Seaview House. The bed was so comfy we didn’t want to get up in the morning but then the smell of the full English breakfast cooking was too tempting! Lovely warm and very welcoming people and place.

    Sammy2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hosts that anticipated all of our requirements. There are good facilities at the property, we had a great breakfast and it was nice to be able to use the garden. Great situation in being about the last place you could stay before being at the tip of Lands End. Thoroughly recommend Seaview as a place to stay.

Our wild landscapes, semi-tropical gardens, the moors and coastal areas are stunning at this time of year. The migrating birds are now arriving along with our seasonal marine visitors. Our swallows have returned to nest in our barns and we have heard the cuckoo – a rare sound in many areas. The Drift reservoir is just 3 miles away and Marazion and Hayle Nature Reserves are within a 20 minute drive; all are renowned for hosting a wide variety of migrating and seasonal birds. Why not consider a longer stay out of the main holiday season? If you are seeking peace and quiet in which to write, compose music, paint, photograph, explore the environment in greater depth, or simply to take time out from your everyday life this is the perfect place. Free access to super-fast broadband will keep you speedily in touch with wherever you need and we can offer attractive, off-season rates depending upon length of stay and time of year. Please contact for more information. Pets: We are able to welcome one, very well-behaved dog to come on holiday in this room. Please ask in advance; we ask that you bring their own bedding together with towels, feed and water bowls. We prefer that visiting dogs do not go into our garden or into any other areas of our home and ask that your dog is not left unattended in your room. And PLEASE, no dogs on our beds. We are right off any made-up roads, there is lots of space and dogs can easily and safely be walked straight from our house. If your dog is prone to bark at the slightest movement or as soon as it goes outside, this is probably not the best place for it to stay. Other guests will be in the room next to you and elderly neighbours live across the farmyard. Our own dog, Cassie will make a loud noise when you arrive but will be very hospitable once you are settled in.
If you are looking for the "real" West Cornwall you will find it here. We are well away from the main road, at the start of the wild, West Cornish Moors distinctive Celtic landscape and.....Poldark country! A haven for artists and photographers, no two days are the same and the quality of the light is renowned. You will have easy access to all this when you stay with us in our comfortable and interesting home. A wonderful place for writers, artists, musicians to come for an extended stay to work. • We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Jill's. She was warm and welcomed us into her beautiful B&B. My sister in law and I were exhibiting at Cornwall Design Fair and needed a peaceful place to rest and recuperate and we chose well! Stunning location, clean and comfortable with fabulous shower. A delicious, freshly prepared, substantial breakfast set us up for the days. I would recommend her B&B anytime.

  • We absolutely loved our stay, everything was accommodated for beautifully by Jill, home made fudge in the room was delicious and the breakfast too!

    Alexandra2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jill was a very pleasant host and we had an amazing experience at her place. As you get closer to the house you drive through amazing landscapes and you arrive to a secluded cluster of houses. However even though the place was very quite and peaceful Penzance and other cities/towns are only a short drive away. The room had an independent entrance with a private and comfortable shower/bathroom, it was clean and very relaxing. Jill also left a box of biscuits for teas in our room. Each breakfast was great and Jill has always been so nice cooking for us amazing local food and preparing some very nice fruit salads. Thanks for the great stay and we hope we will be back one day!

  • Fantastic, peaceful stay, beautiful surroundings in and out. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with lovely breakfast. Jill was very knowledgeable about the area and suggested places of interest and nothing was too much trouble. I hope to come back to visit later this year. Thank you again.xo

  • Jill's place was the perfect little home for our trip and we instantly felt relaxed on arrival. Jill was so friendly and helpful offering us advice on the local area plus the breakfast was delicious! The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall as most places are less than a 20 minutes drive! Perfect if you're looking for a peaceful getaway - we'll definitely be returning!

    Samuel2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic stay ! We spent 5 days at Jill's farmhouse - tucked away down a small country lane is her wonderful home full of art and books and a stunning garden. Our room was large and very comfortable. All the best sights and beaches are a short drive away but, you feel far away enough to really be able to relax in peaceful surroundings. Jill was a wonderful host and nothing was too much for her - all her small touches didn't go unnoticed :). She has vast knowledge of the area and gave us some great tips to make our stay even better. Her breakfasts were to die for and we'll be trying out some of the recipes back home. Jill is experienced in lots of fields and we really enjoyed exchanging stories. Cornwall itself is a beautiful part of the country with great food, beaches and activities (we would recommend the Minack theatre) and we'll be sure to return soon.

  • Jill was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome as guests in her home. She is a great cook and very knowledgeable about the local area. She kindly lent us blankets for our evening at the open air Minack Theatre, which we were very grateful for!! We would definitely enjoy staying with Jill again when we are next in Cornwall.

Traditional cottage room (close to the Coast Path and lovely Portheras Cove) offers walkers and cyclists a base for stunning inland/coastal walks to Neolithic quoits and Iron Age hill forts as well as Geevor Mine and Pendeen (an ex tin mining village full of interest.) Think Alternative Youth Hostel - but pets possibly allowed and maybe a little bit more TLC!
PLEASE NOTE: From May-September this listing is not open to people travelling with a car - unless you have arranged it with me BEFORE SENDING A RESERVATION REQUEST. Also, if you are walking from the St Ives direction, my house is much nearer to Morvah than to Pendeen (despite its address), so do not go beyond Portheras Cove if you want the most direct access to my house. Like many of Cornwall`s most beautiful coves, Portheras is not lifeguarded and offers various hazards, so access and bathing are very much at one`s own discretion .. The cottage is in a quiet lane off the St Ives-Lands End Coast Road. The bed is a small (4`) double but, on the plus side, the room is South facing and looks over the garden.
This is a wonderful part of West Penwith and should not be rushed! Morvah is a very special corner of the UK, with small farms, open moorland, much ancient and mining history, and always dominated by the nearby sea - the furthest lights you will see at night will be from ships, not houses. and the name Morvah means Place of the Sea. If you are thinking of scheduling a rest day on your coast walk, this area is a good option: As well as the obvious lure of Portheras Beach (one of West Cornwall`s gems) , he area around Morvah offers outstanding moorland walks, which are less walked than the Coast Path and often take in historical sites of many ages, while the nearby village of Pendeen is an engrossing picture of historic development based on the traditional Cornish industries of tin mining, fishing and farming. An informal visit to a local farm can usually be arranged if this would be of interest. Although Morvah and Pendeen contain so much of interest, they are far less visited than Lands End, and a two night stay here will offer a far better insight into the real life of West Cornwall than "The Lands End Experience"
  • My bf and I spent 10 wonderful days at Mary's Cottage. Each day started with a big and healthy breakfast that Mary prepared for us most days. The bedroom though small is cozy and comfortable and contains loads of beautiful books. Mary absolutely wonderful, always ready to help and up for a chat. We felt at home right away!

    Annabelle2015-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Mary is an extremely generous and charming host. The locale is quite stunning and offers tranquility, fabulous scenery and inspirational walking opportunities. Highly recommended for walkers and for those seeking a quiet excursion.

    Craig2015-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Mary: what a lady :) she's just incredible and a lovely, friendly and interesting woman! It was so nice to talk with her about Cornwall and all the mines around that area! I would go there again! Always :)

    Tamara2016-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place to spend few days exploring the nature richness around! Which I didn't, so would have to go back. The place is such a tinny gem hidden away from the beaten main road. Mary is very chatty and know the area as a back of her hand. Thank you xxx

    Eliska2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Another great experience ! The place was exactly as described ! Mary is a very nice and uncomplicated lady and it was great to have a chat with her ! She provided some cake and tea the day I arrived which was great after a long walk ! Breakfast was also great ! The place is remote and ideal for walking !

    Petra2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mary is really great host who will make your holiday special! The cottege is in good location close to lovely beach. I can highly recommend it! We loved it there.

    Petra2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a great stay at Mary's place. She is living in a lovely hamlet, in a very practical spot for people walking along the coast. We arrived late, but she was very welcoming and even brought us by car to a pub to have dinner. We stayed for 2 days, and she prepared a great breakfast every morning, plus a lovely traditionnal dinner the 2nd day. We spent hours chatting with her about all kinds of topics, and it was really delightful as well as a great way to learn plenty of things about the region. She really enhanced and broadened our view of Cornwall and its people. To sum up, Mary is a very considerate host, and to say that we felt at home would be a euphemism. We strongly recommend her place!

    David2015-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Having spent a night at Mary's all I can say is she's fantastic. I felt very much at home and Mary is an extremely generous person - the house is conveniently located near the Morvah bus stop and the south west coast path but still comfortably secluded. The room is wonderfully sunny and some tea in the garden did my soul good - if you are in need of a little off-grid relaxation in good company (cat included) I can definitely recommend Mary's!

Perfect location for exploring the far west. We are within walking distance of the historic Madron Well and Celtic Chapel also the stunning NT Trengwainton Gardens. Many other gardens are a short drive. The bus at the end of the drive goes to St Ives via Penzance town. • Jane and Andrew have got a wonderful house and the room was very airy, comfortable and spacious. We were travelling with our little boy and they had kept all amenities for him as well incl. Cot, bath support, high chairs etc. which made our trip even more relaxing. Thank you guys for making our trip special and memorable. See you again soon.

  • We enjoyed our short get away at Poltair cottage. The room was ideal for the 2 of us and came with an ensuite. The location is in a quaint little village with only a short walk away from Penzance. Jane our host was fantastic and saw to our every need. With a good knowledge of the surrounding area she was able to suggest places we could visit and different things we could do. We particularly enjoyed the continental style breakfast she provided with her homemade jams and the company of Bertie an adorable spaniel. Enjoying a cup of tea in the beautiful garden on a sunny afternoon was just what we would call a relaxing holiday. I would definitely recommend staying at Poltair cottage.

  • Jane and her family are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed 2 nights of Janes cooking, which was delicious. The room was very comfortable. Jane provided everything we needed - even a bath for our baby boy! All advices on where to go or to eat were very valuable. We had a wonderful time and would love to be back!!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Jane's lovely place over the Easter long weekend. The house is beautiful and well decorated with plants and greenery. The back garden is gigantic and definitely a pleasure in the summer (unfortunately the weather was little too cold for us to enjoy it at the time). The ensuite room was very clean, well lit, had everything we needed and also includes a very, very comfy double bed. Jane is very attentive, considerate and great at communicating with us through the whole trip. Her adorable dog Bertie also was a great addition to our trip. Jane made us a great continental breakfast every morning at exactly when we wanted it by, with fresh fruits, yogurts, jams and a great selection of cereals. She also made us dinner the first night (her fruit cobbler is absolutely delicious) for a small price and it was well worth it. If you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay with a great family and the privacy of a your own space when you need it, I'd highly recommend staying with Jane.

  • Jane is a very welcoming and generous host. The accommodation is comfortable with all essentials provided. There is access to a peaceful walled garden.

    David2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jane was such a good host! And they had a very nice dog. We made a last-minute reservation, but this wasn't a problem for Jane. They live in a beautifull house, with a big garden behind an old hospital. We slept in a separate room, which was very clean and big enough to put al our stuff. Jane was so nice to offer us to eat diner with them. But we chose to eat in the local pub close by, because it was one of our last days in Engeland. We had a great meal and some beers. In the morning we had a good breakfast so we could continue our last day of the cycle route. I'll recommend Jane to everybody :)

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb. Jane and Andrew made us very welcome and very much at home. The house and garden are lovely. Jane cooked dinner for us on two occasions and it was excellent. A great place to stay when visiting south west Cornwall.

We are offering self contained bed and breakfast accommodation, situated on the ground floor of our converted granite barn. The accommodation has its own entrance via a private patio. There is a bedroom, shower room and small sittingroom with TV/DVD and table/chairs where you can eat continental breakfast, We provide towels, complimentary toiletries and 100%cotton bed linen.
We try to live environmentally sustainably and reduce, re-cycle and re-use as much as possible. We have our own bore hole with lovely pure water and our own sewerage system, so we use only eco friendly products. We compost kitchen waste, which eventually feeds the vegetable patch and the horse manure feeds the garden - nothing is wasted
We are situated halfway between the coastal market town of Penzance (with ferry links to the Scilly Isles) and the old mining town of St Just. We are 4 miles from Sennen, one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall and about 7miles from Porthcurno, home to the beautiful outdoor theatre -The Minack. From Higher Tregerest you can walk to the West Penwith Moors and the neolithic sites of Chun Quoit, Chun Castle and Tregeseal Stone Circle. St Ives (home to the Tate, Barbara Hepworth museum and Leach Pottery) is approx.10miles drive along the fantastic coastal road
  • Trudi provides a wonderful warm welcome. The accommodation is clean and well laid out. The breakfast was good - still loving (and missing) the local Cornish natural yoghurt with strawberries and blueberries. The farm is a great base for a couple looking to explore this beautiful southern part of Cornwall with all the popular beaches just a short drive away. It was also fun to spend some time meeting her lovely horses. Thank you Trudi.

  • Trudi & Scott are great hosts and really made us all feel welcome. They were happy to chat, make recommendations for things to do and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great with lots to eat and the separate living room was perfect for us as it allowed us to stay up after we put our son to bed. Thanks for everything and we hope to come back again soon!

    Mark2015-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely accommodation, Trudi and Scott were really helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip as easy and comfortable as possible. Really enjoyed the breakfast selection. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

  • We have just got back after a long drive from a week staying with Trudi and Scott in their rural self contained B&B just outside Newbridge. We both had a lovely week exploring the area and the location was perfect to get to any part of the peninsular. The accommodation was quiet and peaceful, and Trudi and Scott were great hosts. On the first day we were late to check in due to seeing the Tempest at the Minack Theatre overlooking Porthcurno- we got our tickets at the last minute after meeting some people at dinner at the Logan Rock pub in Treen who were seeing the performance. We arrived at the B&B at 11:30 in the evening and Scott was up and ready to let us in. The breakfasts throughout the week were a pleasure to wake up to with a lovely selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, muesli, bread, jam, coffee etc. The accommodation was very private as it was a self contained annexe and therefore felt more like a self catering apartment (with breakfast served)! We both liked the feeling of peace and quiet that this offered. The views over the moors, fields and across to Mounts Bay were stunning and we both liked the two Arabian horses and the Shetland Pony! We will definitely return to stay in the future and highly recommend to others. Even the weather was great, what more could you want! Ed and Soph, Wivenhoe, North Essex.

  • Many thanks Trudi for a most enjoyable stay. Trudi's BnB is everything portrayed on this site and more, the bed is very comfortable and in a seperate room from the lounge so there is room to spread out which is huge plus. Trudi understands the balance required of being friendly and helpful while allowing us to explore and enjoy what this area has to offer which is heaps.

    Martin2015-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my girlfriend had a great time in Cornwall and loved staying at Trudi and Scott's lovely bed and breakfast! They were both very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of great tips of things to do and places to see! The breakfast was very tasty and they let us eat in their beautiful garden which when the sun was out which was really nice. The location was fantastic as it was out in the countryside and very peaceful but still easy to get to lots of different places from there including Cape Cornwall, St Michael's Mount, Penzance and St Ives. One hidden gem we found was Rinsey Beach which is in a lovely little cove and a bit hidden away. All in all a great experience!

  • What a wonderful setting. Trudi was a fantastic host, always accessible if needed but also left me to it. From the bed to the breakfast, everything was spot on. Thank you Trudi, I will be back!!!

  • Have never used Airbnb before, my partner and I arrived earlier than the check in time, Lou met us and allowed us to check in half hour early, explained all of accommodation and was so lovely and friendly host, Fresh bread, milk, coffee, fresh orange juice plus plenty more for making ourselves a continental breakfast, lovely outside seating area just for us, which we had the weather for and took advantage of in the morning, Everything spotless and comfy, and all as described when booked, can’t praise Lou’s place enough, made the first experience of Airbnb a massive success and we will def book this accommodation again and recommend to friends and family too.

  • Lovely place to stay, more than what is need inside the room and in an easy accessible spot! Highly recommend this place!

    James2018-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lou was a brilliant host. Trevescan isn’t big so we found her b&b with ease. We arrived earlier than expected check in and Lou said she could make our room up earlier which was lovely of her to offer. We went walking towards to coast to which Lou offered some handy local advice (the path at the start really is not obvious!). The room was beautifully made with so many thoughtful touches, ham and cheese board, eggs, OJ, coffee her son makes, the list is quite endless. She also offered great food advice, menus can be found in the information folder provided in the room as well. You should book as soon as possible because her b&b is very popular! (15 min to Land’s end which saves you £6 parking).

  • Wow, what an amazing place to stay. Everything inside was great, very well stocked up for breakfast and just a nice cosy place to stay in. Lou was lovely and welcoming. 110% recommend this place.

  • This room is absolutely fantastic the quality standard of everything in the room is first class. Quite simply the best room we have stayed in. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Lou is a terrific host and made us feel very comfortable. Loved it.....

  • Lou's Land's End B&B is an awesome place to stay for anyone wanting to explore South West Cornwall, with outstanding hospitality provided by Lou and her husband. The property is only a two minute drive or short walk from the famous Land's End landmarks. The B&B is in a smartly refurbished annex, is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Lou provided a beautiful assortment of breakfast foods including cereals, bread and spreads, yoghurt and fresh fruits, eggs, ham and cheeses, plus bottled water, juice and various snacks. We can highly recommend Lou's property. It was an absolute pleasure staying there.

Dragonfly private room is a fresh, relaxing space with comfy twin beds that zip together into a 6ft superking. Decor in cool blue & white stripe with stripped pine furniture. There's a smart TV, tea & coffee making facilities, plenty of storage, room for our travel cot, & a lovely view of the back garden & Coombe valley. Guest bathroom shared with one other room. Its possible to book both our rooms. Breakfast, cold meats, cheese, eggs, cereal toast, juice, tea, coffee, eaten in our kitchen.
Woodrock is our family home, a dormer bungalow in the wooded valley area of Newlyn known as the Coombe. The centre of Newlyn with its harbour, beach, shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries is a 5 minute stroll away. There is safe parking on the road. Please note there are 28 steps from the road to the house but we offer help to carry bags on the steps. Sue can offer art tuition and tailor made art holidays.
A thriving fishing harbour, Newlyn is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the United Kingdom, with over 40 acres of harbour where all sorts of fishing vessels can be seen. Newlyn also has a lively arts community and a popular cinema, Newlyn Filmhouse. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village centre. Gardens along the beachfront make a pleasant walk to Penzance.
  • Stayed at Woodrock with Chris and Sue for the past 3 nights. A wonderful place to stay when visiting the beautiful scenery Cornwall has to offer. Chris and Sue were greats hosts and really made us feel welcome. Their home is really nice. Newly renovated and well-kept with a pretty garden. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was provided daily and there was plenty of parking out front. Their house is a few minutes walk from Newlyn which is a pretty little fishing village just south of Penzance. There are restaurants, pubs and shops all within walking distance. Penzance is a short walk away plus Mousehole is about 2 miles walk away. This place is well worth a visit. We braved a dip in the sea there and it was surprisingly warm (In July). Lots of nice walks to be done in the area plus a short drive away from Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Ives and many many more beautiful places. Overall I highly recommend staying at Woodrock. Couldn't wish for a better place to stay.

    Rob2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sue is a lovely host and we had a good time with her! The room was clean and very comfy, the breakfast was great and sue and Chris are very talkative. Which is perfect if you want to get helpful tips about the area! Thanks for everything, can recommend this place. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is that you can’t cook in the kitchen (what we didn’t know before) and the town Newlyn is quite small without that much to offer (if you have a car to get to other places, this isn’t going to be a big problem).

    Julika2018-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • We immediately felt right at home when arriving in Newlyn. The place is lovely, you'll notice nice little details everywhere and the room we stayed in suits 2 people very well. Sue and Chris just have been perfect hosts as well, providing us with a lot of information about the area and making us laugh every morning when we had our breakfast in their cozy kitchen. Newlyn is also very near to Penzance from where you can reach almost everything in the area. We already miss the place and Cornwall!

    Lisa2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and her partner Chris are special people. We left them thinking that they were more than hosts, they were friends. The space was wonderful and the location perfect for exploring the vicinities.

    Gretchen & Sidney2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and Chris are very nice hosts. The house was clean and really close to the village centre. There is an amazing seafood bar there which I highly recommend! We did enjoy our stay there, Newlyn is close to Land`s End, St Ives, Mousehole, St Micheal Mount etc. It is more townie around there, I think we prefer the East side of Cornwall around the Roseland Heritage Coast. Many thanks for everything!

    Agi2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sue and Chris were really friendly hosts, very accommodating and with good local information. Their place is a good base for exploring the area.

  • As other reviewers have noted, this property really deserves six stars, not just five! Every little need that we might have had was catered for - and some we hadn't anticipated. The decor is outstanding: spotlessly clean, comfortable and stylish. Our greeting was friendly and welcoming and we honestly felt that nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. This really was the best place for us to unwind and comes with the highest recommendation.

    Anna2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was brilliant. The accommodation is well appointed, absolutely nothing to fault. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and bathroom with excellent shower. Alongside the immaculate room and breakfast area, the best part of our visit was Julie-Ann’s hospitality, we enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast each morning, as well as local tips and conversation about Cornwall! Thank you for a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

  • If we could give Leha Vean a 20 /10 we would . Julie-Ann was an amazing host. We wanted for nothing this is truly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It was immaculate and Julie-Ann had thought of everything possible. Such a lovely lady aswell. You can not go wrong staying here. This place is the best!!!

The rooms are gorgeous as it is newly built & everything was spotless. Breakfast was also amazing & my gluten intolerance was catered for. Anthony could not do enough for us, I only wish we stayed longer than one night! If we are back in the area again we will most certainly stay back here. Thank you very much!!

Friendly and welcoming farmhouse accommodation, near Penzance, Lands End and Porthcurno. Close to the coastal footpath and Minack theatre. Delightful views and set in a quiet and peaceful location, near beaches, fishing coves and walks straight from the door. Homemade cream tea on arrival and delicious breakfast choices using Cornish produce.
We have been running a 5 star b&b in the farmhouse since 2000 and are delighted to have been awarded a Visit Britain Gold Award for service and high standards. We also have a breakfast award, for using local fresh produce and giving delicious choices. It's a real family business and we enjoy welcoming guests to our home. We have always lived and farmed in this beautiful area so have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you and help you plan your stay. The farmhouse is well off the road accessed by a well maintained drive with plenty of parking. Only 10 minutes walk from the bus route.
We are situated 1.5 miles from St Buryan village and 6 miles from lands End. In a rural area with sea views. St Buryan can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes and has a pub, shop and garage. We also have two other very good pubs within a 10 minute drive. We are surrounded by beaches, coves and the coastal footpath, a perfect location for touring the area.
  • We stayed here for 2 nights in August and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The room was lovely with a really comfy bed and nice little en-suite. The views were great and it's well off the beaten track and was just what we were after. The highlight for me was the excellent cooked breakfast. Thoroughly recommended on all counts!

  • Carolyn is an amazing host! She's helpful, kind, friendly and she does care about her guests. She helped to us a lot with guidance.Excellent communication. I personally highly recommend her to any one to stay in her lovely farmhouse. The house and our room were 5* clean. The breakfast was delicious, the location is super. Not to mention that she's got nice and friendly pets at home and they are ready to play with everyone:) I wish we could stay there for longer because 3 days aren't enough to discover all the stunning places.

Luxury 5 star bed & breakfast accommodation for couples. Friendly and helpful hosts and delicious farmhouse breakfasts. Near Lands End, Penzance and all local attractions. Wonderfully peaceful location with views to the sea. Pubs and restaurants nearby.
Our farmhouse is set on a working farm on the south coast of West Cornwall. We grow potatoes, have a herd of beef cattle and run a holiday business with two b&b rooms in the farmhouse and two self catering cottages. We have lovely views from the farm as we are surrounded by farmland and the sea. It is very quiet and peaceful here as we are well off the road. There is a good tarmac and concrete access drive with plenty of designated guest parking.
We are perfectly placed for touring the area and are just a 20 minute walk from the coastal footpath. St Michael's Mount, Land's End, Minack Theatre, Mousehole, St Ives, ancient stone sites, Penzance, coves beaches and 'Poldark' locations are all within walking distance or a 10-40 minute drive. Lovely restaurant at Mousehole www.2forestreet.co.uk it pays to book in advance of your visit during the high season.
  • Lovely BnB, Carolyn has a great attention to detail. Clean and cozy, bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious!

    Melissa2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • The two days I stayed at Carolyn's house were wonderful! Nice breakfast, clean, private and quiet room. I love dogs that are very friendly. Carolyn are gently kind and cheerful atmosphere. The weather was cloudy, but definitely a favorite place to stay! Thank you so much.

    Miho2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The hospitality and accommodation at Carolyn’s place is excellent. The variety and quality of her breakfasts are also first class. We stayed there for 3 nights, and it proved to be an excellent base from which to undertake some really nice days (and evenings) out. We plan to return in the future, and we have no hesitation in recommending Carolyn’s place to others. Adrian and Nicky Todd

A handsome flat on two levels, this period property sits within a quiet green private square, tucked away just three mins' walk from the centre of the beautiful seaside town of Penzance. This luxury ensuite room is elegant, spacious and comfortable.
My favourite place to eat is The Singing Rooster at the top of Causewayhead just two mins walk. The staff Thomasz and Dagmar are very friendly and everything is delicious It is open Tues-Sat lunch and dinner I leave a sheet with recommendations for other places to eat Further afield, St Michael's Mount in Marazion is beautiful, as is the cute village of Mousehole (both 10 mins' drive). Porthcurno (20 mins' drive) has a stunning beach, the Minack Theatre and the Telegraph Museum which are all fantastic.
  • Excellent apartment. Margaret is truly a super host. The location is perfect, just about 10 minutes walk to the train station and right in the city centre. The room is spacious and very clean. The bathroom is amazing and has a great shower. The quality of breakfast is also very good. The best part though is the fantastic hospitality that you receive. We came as guests and made a lifelong friend in Margaret.

    Sanjam2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our 3-night stay was really comfortable - the room is really clean and comfortable, and Margaret was really kind and thoughtful. She has kindly put together a simple breakfast each day, and often checked to see if we needed anything more. Definitely recommend Margaret's place!

    Madeline2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Spacious, clean room. Good variety of breakfast to choose from.

    Thomas2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Penzance is a great base to explore the surrounding area and Margaret is one of the friendliest hosts we have come across. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Margaret!

    Connie2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret's place is beautiful and clean with perfect walking distance from the train station. The breakfast she provided was outstanding and more than enough. She gave me tips on what to do around the area and had put leaflets and information about local restaurants in the room. Thank you for everything Margaret!

    Lovisa2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret's flat was very cosy, beautiful and just a 10 minute walk from the train station! The room was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Each morning Margaret left us a tray in the kitchen with great breakfast items, including fresh blackberries and strawberries. Margaret was a lovely host and was always happy to help with anything we needed. We would definitely recommend Margaret's place and Penzance as a great base to do day trips to Sennen Cove, Lands End, Porthcurno, St. Ives, etc.

Our house is a terraced granite cottage in the centre of Penzance. The house is five minutes walk from the station which links directly to Paddington. The train also connects to St Ives. The sea is a five minute walk away. The road we live in is a quiet road facing the local allotments. There are views of the sea and St Michael's Mount from the front bedroom and lovely rooftop views from both bedrooms.
We offer the top floor of our house. There are two rooms, both have a double bed, one room is ensuite. Guests can choose which bedroom they want to use. The rooms would be suitable for a couple and one child. We can provide a travel cot.
Penzance is a hidden beauty. There is a thriving artistic and musical community. There are shops and cafes to visit and explore. Leskinnick Terrace was built in 1827. The house we live in is called Bryony. The original owner was an engineer on the Scillonian which still travels daily from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly. Bryony is from the Scilly Isle Brier.
  • This was a great find. About 2 mins away from the train and coach station yet away from and busy streets making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Two nice rooms with plenty of character and Patricia and her husband were really friendly and ultra accomodating with any of our requests. We even got a smoothie one morning when we mentioned we were going on a day long walk. Heartily recommend!

    Neil2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia and Stuart's house is lovely and in a very good location, within walking distance of the shops, places to eat and the harbour. They are lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome and looked after.

    Sue2018-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • Situated in a convenient location. Patricia is a kind and considerate person and made my stay enjoyable.

    Wan Jun2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Firstly the hosts are extremely welcoming and couldn't of been more helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate me and my two young children. Breakfast provided every morning was up to high standard and prior to my visit the host asked if me or my children had any particular requests or dietary needs. The rooms and en suite bathroom were immaculately kept and decorated. The location was extremely convenient to Penzance town and all local transport links. All in all a very pleasant stay. The only minor consideration would be that the pathway leading up to the house was obstructed with flowers and would of been easier with the pushchair had they been cut back however this wasn't a issue as the hosts helped me exit and enter the property. I would be very happy to stay again.

    Gina2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia is a lovely and welcoming host. We only stayed one night but she made everything very simple for us, including giving us recommendations for a walk the next day. The room was lovely too and kitted out with everything we needed. Would very much recommend staying at Patricia's.

    Sab2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • I loved Patricia's arty home and would have stayed longer but had a train to catch home. We used both bedrooms which were traditional cottage rooms, with original features...wooden floors, beautiful sash windows and one had the original iron fireplace. Comfortable, clean rooms one with en-suite and one with tea/coffee tray and ..chocolate to eat. I awoke to seagulls, sun and breakfast being prepared downstairs. We hope to return another year to experience more. Thankyou.

    Ann2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • I will definitely recommend Patricia's home to all people who would like to visit Penzance. Patricia is really friendly and nice. The breakfast she prepared is tasty. The two rooms are clean and tidy. It was a wonderful experience to stay in this lovely place.

    Irene2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely characterful cottage with 2 lovely bedrooms. Friendly and helpful hosts. En suite in one room so other room had to access bathroom through other room. Fine for us as been friends for years and have shared a lot of rooms but worth being aware of.

Really charming full of character, clean airy contemporary room. Sleeps 2 plus kid/teen in snug area. parking and continental breakfast for 2 included. Ensuite, WiFi, tv, kingsize bed.
The school room is set in a converted old Cornish school situated in the character full village of Heamoor on the edge of Penzance. It may only be a stone throw from Penzance however it borders the countryside. You get the best of both worlds central location near the a30 but also feel like your a million miles away from the tourist town. Nearby you can explore the breathtaking beaches of Porthcurno (and the minack theatre) sennen cove, st Ives. Trengwainton gardens is within walking distance. Trewidden and Tremenheere Sculpture gardens a short car journey. St Ives and Lands end are definitely worth a visit and don't forget the charming picturesque fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn. Further a field there are many more gardens and beaches to visit a well as the famous Eden project. You'll certainly never run out of places to see, walk, eat or relax.
  • Lovely stay. Accommodation is perfect for a few days away. Breakfast was beautiful. Lots of lovely extra touches :)

    Billie2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • The room is really atmospheric and characterful, and the little side annexe is perfect for a child. Our 6-yr-old adored her 'triangle room'. The main room is wider into the eaves than the photos can easily show, so there was a good feeling of space. There is a small fridge, and Kate provides some crockery and cutlery, which we found very useful. The breakfast is lovely, especially the warm croissants! The surrounding area is pleasant, with the local pub serving good food. I would give Kate's property the highest recommendation!

    Ian2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • We were in Penzance visiting family for one night. The School Room was a lovely place to stay. It has been finished to a very high standard and has plenty of room. The walk to town was only 20 minutes so easy to leave the car and walk. Kate brought a lovely breakfast to us the next day which was freshly prepared and set us up for the day. Kate was a great host and very accommodating. Throughly recommend staying here.

    Adrian2015-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a pleasant stay in Kate's place. The place is clean and well equipped. She even has a little kit for Minack theatre (pillows and blanket to use in the theatre). The breakfast basket was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay here.

    Nisha2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, clean and tidy. My son loved the little room. It was very comfortable and the shower was great and the whole place spacious. The breakfast was lovely and very generous. Onsite parking is great.

    Kate2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Location is good, about 20min walk from station. Also the room is really nice and lovely breakfast Kate offered us. Thank you for treatment!

    Qingnan2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kate was a lovely host. She provided us with advice on places to visit in Cornwall when delivering our breakfast each morning. My partner and I were happy with the bedroom and bathroom, which were spacious and clean. We will recommend The Schoolroom to our family and friends in London.

    Rumesh2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely location, very pleasant spacey room. The bed was super comfy, we loved waking up to the sound of the seagulls. Kate was a great host. Recommended nice places to visit. The beach is about 2-3 miles away, so good for outdoor activities.

The accomodation is outstanding, great location, beautiful views, good choice for breakfast - this place has everything you need! Would definitely recommend this bnb. Thanks Sarah and Ali for being a great host!

  • Sarah and Ali’s apartment is perfectly located, immaculate and well maintained. The ‘help yourself’ style breakfast provides plenty of choice and was restocked everyday, including a variety of fresh fruit. The location is great (5min drive to Penzance & 20mins to St Ives) but with stunning views and the peace and quiet of the countryside you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere! We had the best time staying here and would thoroughly recommend it to couples who are looking to get away from it all! We’re already planning our next trip..! Thank you Sarah and Ali x

  • Curlews is the perfect place to explore the west of Cornwall. We had an extremely comfortable stay and Sarah and Ali provided everything we could have needed! The space was perfect - a comfy bed, an excellent shower and enough space. Plentiful food was provided for breakfast in the utility area and we really enjoyed being able to help ourselves whenever we wanted. The separate entrance provided privacy and allowed us to come and go easily. Sarah and Ali really were the perfect hosts, offering local tips and they made us feel welcome immediately. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your lovely home.

  • Curlews is great value for money; ideally situated outside of town and still close enough to nip to the supermarket when needed. There's a lovely little table and chairs out the back for a sunny breakfast or, if it's raining, everything inside is all nicely decorated too. The bed is very comfy and the breakfast provisions are great. Curlews is a lovely little AirBnB and a perfect base for exploring South West Cornwall; definitely recommended!

3 miles to the North coast, 3 miles to the South coast. Within a tranquil hamlet in an AONB. Easy access to open countryside, perfect for walkers, beach, art and history lovers; with so many interesting places to explore. Come and share our wonderful home in a relaxed atmosphere. As well as your own bedroom and bathroom you will have use of the extensive living space and the garden. Open fires in winter. Delicious continental style breakfast can be eaten in the kitchen, conservatory or garden.
A simple, quiet, light and airy room at the back of the house with views over the garden and fields beyond. Simply furnished with luxurious cotton bedding and feather duvet (synthetic available on request), our favourite turkish cotton hammam towels, and locally made hair and body soap bar. Our historic home that was once a post office dating back to the 1800s has been extended over the years to create a spacious, interesting home with woodburners and a vast conservatory that opens out onto a south facing garden, looking out to open countryside. There are lots of birds and the sky at night is great for stargazing. Feel free to use the garden and summerhouse. Please note we do have a large puppy.
We are situated midway between the north and south coasts in a quiet, pretty hamlet. There are numerous walks straight from the house with varied terrain. It is rural so ideally a car is the best way to explore the many places such as St Michael's Mount and Marazion, Penzance, Newlyn, Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, St Ives (Tate, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Leach Pottery), Minack Theatre and many beautiful beaches including one of our favourites Sennen (great for surfing). Everywhere is easily accessible . The Gurnard's Head is just under 3 miles away, so walkable, and is one of our favourite places to eat. Anyone interested in foraging courses please ask for a link to Rachel Lambert's wildwalks-southwest site for fantastic tours locally. There are many great places to visit and lots of wonderful places to eat so feel free to ask for suggestions.
  • This was my first experience of Airbnb and it was great. Our hosts were lovely and helped to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. They were kind enough to make some gluten free cakes for my travelling companion on our arrival which was a nice touch as well as providing gluten free breakfast options. The house was full of character with lots of space and privacy. Although a little tucked away this suited us and was a short drive to either St Ives or Penzance. Local scenery was beautiful and this base proved ideal for us to do some local walks on both the coast and inland. I would fully recommend this accommodation.

  • Great location to explore the Land's End Peninsula (St Ives, Sennen, Porthcurno, Penzance, Moushole, Newlyn, Marizon). The hostes, Tamara and her husband are very caring and do everything to contribute for a lovely time exploring Cornwall by giving us tips and hints. Tamara's granola is the best I ever taste and also the lemon drizzle cake. The old post office is a beautiful building, I would stay here again and again, totally recommended.

    Sandra2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you wish to explore the area surrounding. It is in a great location, central to drive to all surrounding areas. Tamara was so welcoming, and we felt immediately 'at home', comfortable, and more than happy with the decision to stay at the 'Post office'. Would definitely stay again if returning to the area!

    Gary2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Tamara and Andrew were super hosts. On arrival, greeting us with tea and homemade cake and a tour of their beautiful home. Having already suggested best eateries, they then offered to book a restaurant and in the end even taxied us there and back (which, given we'd already had a long drive and fancied a nice G&T, was fab!). The room and private bathroom (we actually had our own wing of the house!), were perfect and breakfast with homemade granola and compote as well as locally sourced sourdough bread was divine. The only shame was we didn't have enough time to enjoy the lovely garden, over looking open fields, and summer house, as there was so much to do in the local area. The Old Post Office really is a beautiful property, and furnished with quirky detail that enhances every nook and cranny...I can't wait to go back, just wish Tamara would offer sewing and cookery courses as well!

  • It is probably the last b&b before Lands End. Michel - the host - is very kind and helpful person. She cares about her guests as they would be a part of her family. Every day she prepares stodge breakfast. B&b is absolutely tidy and furnished in a signature style. Do not hesitate to stay there for a couple of days or longer. Zbigniew

  • We had the best time saying at this lovely Airbnb! The room was like our own little apartment, with a great facilities and cute little touches. In the morning we had a full English breakfast which was so tasty and we managed to chat to the other guests. We would highly recommend staying here!

  • A great introduction to the full English B&B experience for our Austrian friends - hearty beakfasts, clean rooms, friendly hosts, and very helpful too, providing directions to local live music and fireworks at Lands End (a 20 minute walk, free entrance for pedestrians!), kindly providing fridge space for our perishable food, and thoughtfully rescuing our swimming costumes and towels from the outdoor clothes line where we had left overnight, and bringing them indoors out of the forecast sea fog, so they were actually dry for us in the morning. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet night's sleep in a B&B that is handy for the Minack Theatre and Porthcurno, and within easy walking distance of Lands End and Sennen Cove.

  • Michele and her husband were wonderful hosts! They made us feel immediately welcome. The B&B is so pleasantly decorated and made us feel right at home at the beach. Michele had excellent advice about our visit to the Minack Theater that evening and a walk to the ocean the next day, cooked us a delicious breakfast and was fun to chat with too! Thanks for a great stay!

  • Our room was neat and clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was the same. Teresa helped us by looking up information on train and bus schedules which was very helpful. She was very kind and made us feel at home. The only draw back was going up and down steep stairs to get to our room but she had railing on both sides to help with that. I would recommend her place to anyone. Connie

  • Absolutely stunning airbnb. Very accomodating. Julie-ann has literally covered every tiny detail. If travelling this way again i will definitely re-book here.

    Christian2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a find! We made a spur of the moment decision to spend a few days around St Ives and it being the last week in August everything was booked. Then we came upon a new entry: Leha Vean, one of 2 newly converted rooms in a barn close to the A30, with easy access to lots of key destinations. Communication with Julie Ann was efficient and speedy and she thoughtfully asked if there was anything in particular that we’d like for breakfast, such a lovely, personal touch. She welcomed us in person and showed us our room; spacious, sparkling clean, tastefully appointed, desk area, kettle, shortbreads, hairdryer, plenty of power points incorporating USBs and a multi way adaptor, so useful; super functional en suite with fluffy white towels and huge walk in shower. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice and cooked to order, even a choice of ducks’ or hens’ eggs from Julie Ann’s own free range birds, and very good they were too. A range of teas and coffees were lined up in the dining room with fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals and breads available too. Everything was thoughtful, friendly and unhurried; both Julie Ann and her husband Anthony took time to get to know us and the other couple staying, creating a lovely, friendly, relaxed vibe which is exactly what is needed on a short break. Thank you both so much.

Woodrock is our family home, a dormer bungalow in the wooded valley area of Newlyn known as the Coombe. Our other room is Dragonfly @ Woodrock. The centre of Newlyn with its harbour, beach, shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries is a 5 minute stroll away. There is safe parking on the road. Please note there are 28 steps from the road to the house but we offer help to carry bags on the steps. Guests can use toaster, kettle and microwave in the kitchen.
  • A lovely room, and a lovely house, with so much thought put into everything. Sue and Chris are so friendly and welcoming and they really made my stay. I had a really comfortable and relaxing few days away and Newlyn is a nice quiet spot to potter about for the day (recommend Lewis fish & chips and Red Lion pub) and/or venture forth to Mousehole, Lands End, Penzance, Marazion, St Ives – the delights of Cornwall all easy to reach by public transport or car. And breakfast each morning! What more could you ask for?!

    Andrew2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed with Chris and Sue for 3 nights while we explored Cornwall. They were amazing hosts and we would definitely recommend staying worth them. They offered us biscuits, tea and coffee when we arrived at around 7pm, and recommended a few places where we could go to get some dinner. In the mornings, they provided some basic breakfast items, such as toast, cereal, juice and cold meats, which were great to start our day. We would have a great chat with them and other guests during breakfast, and they suggested places to visit during the day. In the evenings we checked out some of the restaurants in the area, and came back to the house to have a great chat with Chris and Sue before bed. The bed was very comfortable, and our room had its own kettle, tea and coffee. It was lovely to meet them both (and their cat Mitsy). They were a very friendly and welcoming couple, and would definitely stay again when we next visit Cornwall.

    Lindsay2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sue & Chris Brilliant place to stay in a great location a short walk from the harbour and local pubs and restaurants. The location was also perfect for exploring lands end and the north coast and Sue and Chris were happy to provide suggestions which was gratefully received. The house was very comfortable and relaxing, in a quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac, we felt very settled during our stay. Sue and Chris were very friendly and so was their cat Mitzy, all in all a lovely stay.

Our House is stunning with sea views nearly everywhere you look, Our Private cove with a waterfall to one side and then the breathtaking Penberth Cove at the end of our fields to the right the south west coastal path follows the fields at the end of the land. A handsome flat on two levels, this period property sits within a quiet green private square, tucked away just three mins' walk from the centre of the beautiful seaside town of Penzance. This luxury room with its queen size bed is elegant, spacious and comfortable. There are tea and coffee facilities, a TV in the room and very good wireless internet. The large family bathroom with bath and shower is just across the hallway.
Clarence Place is a private square in the centre of town but is very very quiet. There are houses on one side with a big lawn in front.
My favourite place to eat is the The Singing Rooster at the top of Causewayhead just two mins walk. The staff Thomasz and Dagmar are very friendly and everything is delicious. I leave a sheet with recommendations of other restaurants Further afield, St Michael's Mount in Marazion is beautiful, as is the cute village of Mousehole (both 10 mins' drive). Porthcurno (20 mins' drive) has a stunning beach, the Minack Theatre and the Telegraph Museum which are all fantastic.
  • Margaret’s place is in an excellent location that is easily walkable to Penzance sites. It’s a nice roomy room with a private bathroom and a good breakfast is included. Margaret is helpful with travel advice and suggestions on where to eat. My husband and I think it was a wonderful place to stay!

  • It was my first Airbnb experience and I was very pleasantly surprised. Margaret was an excellent host going above and beyond what I would have expected even collecting and dropping us off from the station. Breakfast was provided including fresh fruit every day. The accommodation was central but in a very quiet location which meant that we were able to have a good night’s sleep. Margaret was very knowledgable about the local area and gave us suggestions and advise about potential visits. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to visit lovely Cornwall.

  • This home is really beautiful. Absolutely fantastic room with a large nearby bathroom. Margaret made us feel extremely welcome and provided very useful advice about the nearby attractions and St. Ives that saved us a lot of time. Breakfast was fantastic, as were Margaret's cats. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

  • Margaret was there to greet us and made us feel right at home. The apartment was very well located, in a wonderful neighbourhood, the room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The huge bathroom with shower over bath had plenty of hot water. It was all extremely clean and tastefully decorated. I would recommend Margaret's property to any guest wanting a quiet, relaxing place to stay within walking distance to the centre of Penzance.

  • Staying at Margaret's place was an absolute delight! Margaret and her cat-sitter Norbert couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room (I stayed in the ensuite) is light, spacious, beautiful and comfortable: and it was great to have the ensuite too. Margaret was away the week I stayed but was both proactive and responsive by text which I really appreciated, especially as she was on vacation herself. When I was making the booking she was very flexible about my arrival (I arrived very early) and about providing a parking space for me at short notice! Her cat-sitter Norbert did a sterling job of hosting, there were lots of ideas and tips about things to do in and around Penzance. The cat, Boy, is absolutely adorable and super friendly - so if you're not a cat person this probably isn't the Airbnb for you - if you are, you'll love him. Location is excellent, 10 mins walk to the station, 5 mins to the High St - a great place to stay in beautiful Penzance. Highly recommended, I hope to be back one day! Thank you Margaret, Norbert and Boy!

  • We attended a wedding in the area, and I am so pleased we stayed with Margaret in her lovely home. The house is in a perfect location - within walking distance to the town, yet very quiet and peaceful. The room was large, comfortable and airy, and the breakfast tray was filled with lovely snacks, fruit, toast, jams etc. Just perfect! Thanks Margaret for having us and sharing your wonderful friendly home. We will definitely stay again if we are back in Penzance.
