Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our reservation. Giuseppe was very understanding about this. His communication was always quick and he had arranged to meet us and escort us to the accommodation. Hopefully we will come next year instead.

Giuseppe was very good host to us. We have enjoyed his service and hospitality in house. It is very nice location with beautiful view. You may expect windy weather in December with still comfortable temperature. We are looking forward to visit this place again.

A magical place, like a balcony over the sea with a wonderful view. Very easy to reach by car and you can walk to the village (less than half an hour). The village has a supermarket and several first-class restaurants - plus Giusppes Bar. Giuseppe is a wonderful host. Charming, helpful, uncomplicated. There is no better place to experience the romance of Sicily. The accommodation is sparkling clean, practically furnished, everything works, including the shower and it is so quiet that you can sleep wonderfully. And before falling asleep, the owls call - if the moon still shines when the owls call, then the Sicilian night is perfect ... Grazie Giuseppe!

We had a great time at Guiseppe! He is a great host and gave us a very warm welcome. Because we arrived so late in the evening, he had shopped for us and even brought food and dessert from his café for us! And he also gave us a bottle of his homemade olive oil! Delicious! The location of the house on the hillside overlooking the sea in the beautiful garden with olive and lemon trees is just fantastic! Unfortunately in November it was colder and rainier than we thought.

Our stay at Guiseppe's house was fantastic. If possible the photos do not do it justice. It is a little piece of heaven. We basically spent the whole time outside beside the pool and on the deck. He was great with communication before and during the stay. The view is stunning and the house is immaculate with everything you could need. A thoughtful touch of prosecco was left for us in the fridge with fresh flowers on the kitchen table. If you after a relaxing few days on the island then this is the place. Just over an hours drive from Palermo airport and a few lovely small towns nearby. We stopped off at a supermarket on the way so we didn't have to leave the house too much other than to explore the area. All in all we cannot recommend the house and Guiseppe enough. Loved it!

Where to start? Wow! The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is paradise. Watching the sunset and sunrise, swimming in the infinity pool, having dinner on the veranda was truly amazing. Giuseppe was the best host any traveller could ask for. He was so helpful, responses were Uber quick and recommendations spot on. The hospitality was lovely. We had a perfect honeymoon and would whole heartedly recommend. We booked a year in advance as, understandably, he is so busy. Get in quick! Thank you so much Giuseppe for sharing your paradise with us.

Giuseppe's place is a real paradise in Sicily. The luxury of the place is not so much inside (alltough the little house itself is very comfortable, with great shower and fully equipped kitchen), but is the complete setting of the house: a beautiful garden allong de coastline, with magnificent views over the sea; everywere places to sit in the shadow of trees; a infinitypool with the same great views; the sound of crickets all day long... It is indeed a lovely and private escape for two lovers. Giuseppe, the host, is a very nice & generous person. Happy to have met him.

A magical place to relax surrounded by nature, fantastic pool with sea view. Value added Mr. Giuseppe who welcomed us and pampered like no one ever. I don't understand why this house is normally chosen only by foreigners.

Exactly what we expected. A nice out of the way proper B&B with a massive Italian dinner rider to boot! Antonio is a real character. Wish he didn't have to work most of the weekend so we could have interacted more of him. This is a great spot to stay for two nights. Do the big dinner on your first night and you'll have a full tank for the Valley of the Gods the next day. Then hit Antonio's to unwind. For sure, listen to everyone who says to eat a light lunch if you do the dinner. It's a lot, but very much worth it. My wife and I were very happy here and recommend staying. (And she is normally more a fan of the antiseptic IKEA showroom apartments :-p ). We had no problems finding on Gmaps just plugging in what Antonio told us to search for, led us right to the front door, so not sure what issues others were having, I'm guessing car GPS. The kitten Flick was a nice bonus!

Oh man did we enjoy staying here! We came during the winter and arrived to a cozy house with a roaring fire. The space was perfect for us to relax in and there were so many interesting things in the house for us to look at. Antonio is welcoming and loves to share his passion for cooking and art. We really enjoyed our time with him and it was definitely a treat for us to stay here.

This was our favorite stay in all of Sicily. Antonio’s place requires your own transport but it is well worth it! 20 mins to all the tourist attractions...And his dinners were amazing!! Highly recommend!

Very cozy and quiet.

Antonio is a great host. With a big heart. We stayed in his home fore 2 nights. We rentet 2 rooms . Ordered dinner first day , 7-9 courses. With great wine. Antonio is a great cheif , and a recomend that you try dinner at his place. We sleeped well , and had a breakfast at his place. The next day we hade cooking class in his home, and learned how to cook great Sicilien food . Afterwards we ate our cookings. Thank you again Antonio. We hade 2 great evnings and nights at Antonios . With him and his friends. Thank you Antonio for letting us in to your home. And showing us great hospitality. I highly recommend his home for guest.

I had my eye on Antonio’s countryside cottage for quite some time, so when I passed through this area, I knew I had to stay Antonio picked me up at the train station and when I arrived at his place, he introduced to a young woman who was staying there, who was very enjoyable company. Soon my friends from Palermo arrived, and the four of us bonded over a wonderful dinner in the patio. We all enjoyed a trip to the Roman ruins the next day. We had two dinners and two breakfasts, all delicious. Antonio’s rustic countryside cottage was all I had hoped for and more. Full of character and books, it was warm and welcoming. There are three bedrooms. You can have the whole family stay. I hope to come back someday. Do not miss this opportunity if you are in this region.

Antonio is a fantastic, kind, cheerful, precise and helpful host. He made us feel at home immediately and gave us a lot of useful advice especially gastronomic! The apartment is really welcoming, very clean and with all the comforts. It couldn't have been a better location and the building in which it is located overflows with charm. Highly recommended !!!

Great location, you are very close everywhere in Palermo :) Antonio is a very good host. Even before our arrival he was very helpful. Climate apartment, well equipped. But if you want to have privacy, intimacy, this is not a good place. Two bedrooms are open, on mezzanine, you can hear every sound. It has its charm, of course

Anotnio was simply amazing as well as his home. He met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The location of the air bnb is in the heart of the Old Town and is very easy to walk everywhere! It is an amazing old building with sculptures and marbel features with a very cool interior! HIGHLY RECCOMEND! This is a property not to be missed!

There is not much to add to the many positive reviews that were already posted here. Antoinio's apartment is indeed a quirkily arty and comfortable oasis above the historical centre of Palermo. Quiet and sunny in the day, one step away from buzzing friendly bars at night. And the host is as friendly and helpful as described. The place has a homely feel that competes with Palermo's many sites and draws you back "home" for a siesta or early night and makes it worth climbing the 132 steps of the magnificent entry stairs. We spent 8 days here and it is somewhere we would like to go back if we find ourselves in Palermo again. It sleeps four, but probably works best for a couple or three-four very good friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom, as there not really are any "private" rooms (apart from the bathroom! :)

This two-level apartment is located in an old palazzo. It is elegant, has all the amenities you could want and you can’t beat the location!!! Antonio has been a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and would come back any time.

It was a good location for sightseeing around the city and the suburbs and was safe. The hostel was cozy and Antonio was happy to respond quickly to the need.

We really had the most amazing vacations at Baglio Cappello. It's truly the most beautiful airbnb we've ever been to and we can totally recommend that place to everyone who's looking for a beautiful hideaway. Daniela was the perfect host, she always answered really fast, had the best tips (to Zingaro Naturale Reserve) and helped us with everything. We can't thank her enough for this magical stay with all her hospitality. The communication with Daniela during (and after) our stay was really exceptional, she was always available for our questions. We enjoyed our days at the perfect pool while cuddling with Fortu, the nicest and most friendly cat we've ever met (and we are badly missing now) and we are sure that we want to come back as soon as possible. The place was renovated with a lot of love and an effort. You enter a true architectural gem through a picture perfect courtyard - we were really overwhelmed by the beauty of this place, when we arrived after a long stressful journey. Daniela and her family are producing delicious olive oil, which she gave us a bottle of when we arrived, telling us "just to eat it with bread and olives". We did and we felt la dolce vita right away! Thank you so much Daniela!

This is the most unique and special place I have ever stayed in. The history, and charm of the place is breathtaking. Daniela is the best host I have ever encountered - kind and very genuine and offered lots of amazing tips.

Truly a paradise in the middle of an olive grove, the Baglio has a lot of personality in the live Daniela and her family that are very welcoming make you be at home, and if you need anything they care about you. The accommodation is 10, tranquility and design in an oasis with everything you need to enjoy your vacation, each corner has its charm and conveys peace. 100% recommendable. Lucky to meet Daniela, her family and the best cat we've ever seen!

Baglio Cappello is one of the loveliest places we've been to. The entire family is so thoughtful, warm and welcoming, which gave us the feeling of being fully submerged into the Sicillian way of life for a week. Right at the end of the family courtyard is a wooden door that takes you to the appartment, where you can have complete privacy if wanted. This part of the Baglio is fully renovated and stunning. It's modernized but the details from the wine production it once had are still visible everywhere. There are seats and corners to sit everywhere, including deck chairs for sunbathing. An outside shower (heated) and additional toilet outside of the appartment so you don't have to walk into the house with wet swimming clothes. The pool is nothing short of magnificent and is bigger and deeper than we expected from the pictures. Ofcourse an adult will not be able to swim lanes, but at one point we had a handful of toddlers in the pool incl some parents and there was plenty of space. Inside, there is everything we needed. Small but effective kitchen with all necessary appliances, decent wifi, large bathroom, tv, airconditioning etc. Note that there are no doors in the bedrooms so you pretty much hear every sound in the house from your bed. Also, because Baglio Cappello is located outside of town, there can be some noise from the local night-fauna. We got used to it quickly. Furthermore, the house is quite cool even on hot days. Overall we had a great stay here and Daniela is rightfully a SUPERHOST. She responds quickly and is fun to be around. You instantly feel welcome once you arrive. She and her family will send you on your way with local tips and always seem to be on standby if you need help. We surely recommmend anyone to visit Baglio Cappello. Oh, one tip if you do: make sure to book a decent car. The location is about a 5-10 minute drive from the nearest town and takes you along a rocky dirtroad.

It was really nice to stay in this apartment. The owner is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Vincenzo met me in person as instructed, and walked me to the flat. They were concise and clear with instructions and communication if I needed anything. The flat is as described, small kitchen, bathroom, living area and bedroom. Clean, easy to find and a 5 minutes walk to the main streets of Trapani. I did not get to meet Sylvia, but Vincenzo offered local tips, gave wonderful suggestions and walked me through everything I needed to know upon entering the apartment. Would absolutely book again! :)

Sylivia is a very kind and helpful host. He gave us several indications which were very useful (means of transport, good restaurants etc.). He recommended a lot of nice places to visit in Trapani and around Trapani. The apartment is in an excellent position to reach the tourist places. It is also close to the port and the stops that allow you to get to the airport, Palermo and other cities.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sylvia's place. I was very well taken cared of by the host. They picked me up at the bus station, gave me many tips and information about the city and the area, probably much better than a tourist information center :). Sylvia's husband even helped me to buy a charging cable when I couldn't get to the shop to buy it. The place is super well located. It is in the heart of the historic center and in walking distance to main attractions of the city. The apartment is clean, cozy and stylish. It exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend Sylvia's place.

I can highly recommend staying in Christian's apartament. The place is well located close to the main road, there is no problem with parking your car. It is within the walking distance from the marina and main street with all the bars and restaurants. Also if you like hiking , you can easily access trailhead to Monte Inici. There is a grocery store around the corner. The apartament is very cosy, clean and has a huge terrace with a great view. Christian was very friendly, he explained us everything and reccomended very nice restaurants with seafood.

It was a very nice appartement, especially when you consider the price we paid. The balcony is the most wonderful part of the appartement. Also the appartement was very clean and eveything we needed was there. The only big improvement should be another bed, because it was not very comfortable. The contact with Christian was good.

Clean, bright, and welcoming. Very close to the center of town. Quick communication from Christian with any questions. Check-in was a bit confusing, as we needed to do so in the hot stairwell with all of our luggage, with a neighbor of the host. However, it was not a very big deal, and we had a lovely stay beyond that. The view from the patio area was incredible and providing a beautiful landscape while we had a glass of wine before dinner. This apartment is very well maintained. The living, sleeping and eating areas are in one large room. Cooking facilities work very well. Bathroom and washing machine share a space and this works well. There is a wonderful view and a large deck. This looks over a vibrant neighbourhood to a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. We found that there was some neighbourhood noise in the early evening but it did not bother us and by about 7.30 pm all was quiet. Should we return to this part of the world we would stay here again.

We were really satisfied with the flat and communication with Christian and his mother. The best is the terrace with the beautiful view. Fully recommended!

Great stay in the apartment of Christian who welcomed us very well and his mother. Apartment ideally placed for Scopello, Zingaro and it is 10 min walk from the port and the center of Castellamare. The terrace is top! I recommend this accommodation

The apartment is spacious and clean, with a stylish kitchen, very comfortable seating area, and an amazing view of the city from the spacious terrace. The are many nice touches that make the apartment special. Also it is well located near the historic center and close to free parking. Like many places in Sicily, you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the apartment, and more inside as it has three levels. Overall we were very happy, and would definitely stay again. Biagio is a wonderful host. He is so kind and accommodating and easy to communicate with. He truly made us feel welcome.

Great host and nice atmosphere

Biagio is an excellent hosts and is extremely helpful and available despite not being on site. The house/ cave is breathtaking on entry with thoughtful touches everywhere, and a fantastic balcony with stunning views over Ragusa! If you’re using both bedrooms it’s great as you have plenty of privacy with the ground floor bedroom having an en-suite with shower, and the bedroom on the top floor having use of the fully equipped bathroom on the first floor. If arriving by car we would recommend leaving it in the car park at the bottom of the hill as you come into Ragusa Ibla and walking to the house as it’s a little tricky to find initially, but once you know where it is it’s really well positioned... we still left the car in the car park tho! This was a tremendous find and we would strongly recommend staying there... Thankyou Biagio!!

Simply a beautiful place!

GREAT! This is what Airbnb should be like. Laura and Gianluca are absolutely amazing and lovely hosts and pay a lot attention to make you feel at home. The beautiful cottage next to their lovely home has a separate entry and a lot of space to relax and enjoy your vacation. So it s a perfect mix between having privacy and getting to know each other! The Cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need, also for cooking! It s even prettier in reality ;-)! Communication was super easy and they always helped if needed. We felt very welcomed and would definitely come back! Thanks Laura and Gianluca for hosting us!

This place is wonderfully decorated and a true paradise. You can pick your own pomegranates every morning and enjoy the sunset on the rooftop. Laura has some very nice Tipps for you about activities in the area. If you need a peaceful time, this is the right place.

We have just returned from a week at Laura’s and Lucas, we had a truly lovely holiday and there hospitality, tips and helpfulness about where to go, eat and visit meant we got the very most from our week away. If your looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay with superb hospitality then definitely give it a go.

Unique location of its kind, spectacular, a pity to have stayed only 1 night, helpful and kind host

Laura's home is a real piece of paradise! The cottage is studied in detail by Laura, who has furnished it with great taste using recycled materials, and is equipped with all the comforts. Laura and her husband are very hospitable and have given us valuable advice on the most beautiful beaches to visit, the best restaurants in the area and anything else we wanted to discover in Pachino. Staying at Laura is ideal for enjoying relaxing days and for discovering a truly wonderful part of Sicily.

The cottage is MAGIC! Laura is a person with a sense of hospitality that is out of the ordinary. He created with his hands and with only recycled materials (selected with taste) a truly magical and welcoming place, simple and elegant, immersed in nature as if he were part of it. An unforgettable experience that I will repeat for a longer period. Recommended for those who love nature and silence. A vote? 6 stars! :)

Indre and Vincenzo's studio gave us a great base to explore Palermo from. It felt like we had a truly authentic visit to the city and were walking distance from most of the main attractions and loads of places to eat and drink. The studio is spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Indre provided great recommendations to us which really meant we got the best out of our visit. Thank you!

Indrė and Vincenzo were excellent hosts! They were very friendly, helpful & gave us useful tips regarding our stay. The apartment is situated in a great location, near the old market where you can buy fresh local produce and try some of the best street food in Palermo. Everything you might need (sightseeing objects, restaurants and supermarkets) is located in a walking distance (we only used bus once to get to the central train station, took us about 10 mins). The apartment itself is very cozy and stylish. All in all, we had an amazing stay and hopefully will be coming back :)

Indre e Vincenzo are just great hosts! They really care about you and your experience in Palermo. The clean apartment has everything you need and is amazingly well located for easily walking to all of the many amazing sites of Palermo, as well as the great market on the next street and many good nearby restaurants. We had a really great time and highly recommend their place!

Agostino's place was excellent. The view was incredible - overlooking the beautiful Cefalu. We didn't use the pool much (as it was February!) but the place was really amazing. His parents met us at the local garage to help us find the place late at night which was so helpful, they also did a shop for us so there was food in ready for us when we arrived late at night! Definitely recommend.

Very good stay experience, the landlord and wife are very friendlyand considerate, personally to meet us down the mountain, The charming view of the house, and everything you need, is recommended.

We have stayed in that beautiful house at the beginning of November. The house is bigger than on the photos, very clean and comfortable. Augostino s father Pino have met us and answered to all our questions. The garden is large and made with love, the view is really great! We couldn’t use the swimming pool because of the weather but instead swam on the small but fantastic beach 10 min. drive from the house. Thank you Agostino for a great vacation!

What a wonderful home and location to stay in, this was truly memorable. Every detail cared for and thought out. Very comfortable and luxurious. Clean and spacious. We loved it! We loved the pool and the balcony times and made some special family memories, I am sure we will return.

In the apartment of Agostino one feels from the first moment very, very well. Everything is well thought out, bright, tidy and extremely clean! Agostino's parents, Rita and Pino, are always there when you need something and very warm people. The pool is super nice, clean and offers an excellent view of Cefalu. The decor leaves nothing to be desired. For four people this is an ideal size and enough space. We felt so comfortable that we often did not want to leave home and garden. Beautiful!

Paradise and a true home away from home! My husband and I were on cloud nine the whole time we were here and actually ended up doing significantly less day tripping than we had originally planned because we just wanted to relax at the house and the nearby beach and restaurants. We're already dreaming about our return trip!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Laura was incredibly accommodating, replied to any queries we had and was a very welcoming host. The house itself is ideal for any couple looking to get away for a romantic holiday. Only a 20 minute train from Palermo, it is perfect for a quiet retreat away from the city but ideal if one wishes to get the best of both worlds! The house is close to all amenities and was stunningly designed. We really look forward to visiting again and can not recommend enough!

Fantastic. Me and my partner spent the most amazing and relaxing time at this place, full of character and well equipped. An extraordinary location, fully recommended if you’re looking for something special by the sea.

What a wonderful location! It was quite special to have the sea as your front street. Laura was a great host that met us in person when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable in her amazing home that was clearly built with love.

What a beautiful place to stay! Gorgeous location, quiet at the moment, and very scenic. There is a Sista supermarket up the road (not open after 1pm on Sunday - nor is much else but fancy bakeries), a butcher and fruit n veg so you can cook in the wonderful kitchen. The big bath is amazing to bath in and listen to the ocean. Just a lovely place to relax and if you have a car you can drive to Palermo and explore (we took a walking tour by Emmanuel and got to understand the sites, markets and street foods).

A truly unique place with breathtaking views! We enjoyed it very much, especially the warm hospitality and helpfulness of Simona, who also picked us up later to drive us to the house. We will come back in any case! Thanks Simona!

This is one of those little spots you run into in your travels that you’re reluctant to tell people about — it’s so special you want to keep it to yourself, along with I’m sure everyone else who has ever made it up that winding and bumpy gravel road to this quiet, stunningly beautiful refuge from the world. Like everyone says the photos don’t do it justice, certainly as far as the view, but the cleverly considered renovations that have gone on within this old stone cottage are an internal wonder as well. We came here after six amazing weeks wandering the Italian must-sees (do NOT pass up Palermo) and it was exactly the slow, private, silent bliss the doctor ordered. Perfect for one or two people. We went at end of season, getting into mid-November, where you trade off a bit of rain and moderating temperature for almost perfect slow-time privacy. Definitely take in the Monte Cofano trails just down the lane from you (past the donkey) — at that time of year you may well be the only people gobsmacked amid all that splendour. You run into the town there, Castelluzzo, in five minutes for supplies. A wonderful butcher shop and bakery and vegetable shop await you. A great dinner out can be had at nearby San Vito at the simply amazing A’muri Restaurant. There is absolutely nothing we did not love about our time here.

Perfect place for a couple looking for a private getaway. This house is beautifully designed and offers a truly spectacular view. This is a place where the reality is even better than the listing pictures. A car with some off-road capability is recommended but not required. The town of Castelluzzo is close by and offers all necessities: food, wine, etc. Simona is an excellent host and takes great care of every detail.

Do yourself a favour. Stay at Rustic. Quiet. Gorgeous. Supremely comfortable. One of the best AirBnb experiences of my life 😌 Attentive host and absolutely stunning location. We will definitely be back! ✌️

Words cannot describe how stunning the setting is. Panoramic view is an understatement! The host was very helpful and even though the house was very small, it was well equipped so we were able to cook a few meals.

Santo's place is wonderful - everything you could wish for with spectacular balcony view. Very well equiped, you have everything you could need in bathroom and kitchen. Location is good, maybe a little bit loud in the streets at night, but I think this is sort of normal for this neighbourhood. Santo is extremely helpful and easy to communicate. Definately recommend it!

A gret holiday place for a couple, optionally with a child. We stayed for a week with a small baby and everything was fine. I would like to emphasize, like the other guests, the perfect communication with the host and his parents who live nearby and helped a lot. Though some cold rainy days and nights we stayed warm with the air condition in the villa. The garden was in November still beautiful as well as the seaside. Cefalu was not that crowded;-) The city centre is lovely with alot of nice spots, especially the Duomo and the Rocca. The villa being in a more peropheric area of town, there were no supermarkets or cafes open, but with a car you can reach everything in acouple of minutes, there is a card with Luca's infos about where to find pharmacy, hospital, etc. The supermarket Deco is really good, huge and there you have bakery and fish/meat/cheese in every variety. We cooked simple dishes in the kitchen without problem. Last but not least the view from the terrace is incredible and makes the holiday perfect. As for journeys Palermo is 1 hour distance, Monreale the same and the Etna you can reach in 3 hours (one way). Hiring a car at the airport was easy, we booked it before. Very possible we will return!

Great little apartment with a nice pool. Walking distance to the town (about 25 minutes) - make sure you take the route down the steps / path opposite the junction at the bottom of the road (from previous reviews it seems some people walked down the main road and through the traffic tunnel - not a good idea!) Luca was very easy to contact / responsive, and was very flexible on our arrival time which we ended up changing several times during the day as our plans changed. We were very unlucky with the weather (sounds like it was an unusually bad storm) so couldn’t use the pool and terrace as planned, but the set-up looks like it would have been great if the sun had been shining.

A nice holiday cottage very comfortable facing the beautiful bay of Cefalu. The view from the private terrace, overlooking the beautiful pool, is exceptional and makes breakfasts and aperitifs of real privileged moments. Away from the hustle and bustle of Cefalu and close to a small beautiful beach (accessible on foot in 10 '), it is an ideal place to relax on deckchairs enjoying the scenery to the sound of cicadas. The owners are very hospitable and very discreet.

A big thank you to Luca and his parents for the quality of their welcome. We had a fabulous stay. The rented house is perfectly suited to a couple or a couple with children. It is fully equipped and very well furnished. The private terrace is very large and offers a splendid 180 degree view of the Mediterranean. Really breathtaking. The rental also allows access to the pool which is also very well maintained. To sum it up, we had a dream holiday!

toni’s place suited us perfectly - it was spacious and well kept, with a balcony that offered stunning views. It’s quiet but also so near the action of bustling Palermo. On your doorstep are tasty restaurants and bars... too many to choose from in fact. We really appreciated the recommendations toni gave us for food and drink... each were tastier than the last! Definitely a great place to stay if you enjoy walking, eating and drinking. So near all the main sites and easy transport links to the airport and other places in Sicily

Mario's apartment is in a fantastic location close to all amenities and places of interest. Make sure you enjoy the sunsets over the coast nearby. Livio was wonderful! He met us at the apartment and walked us through everything we needed to know. He gave us great recommendations for food and helped us get taxis when we needed one. Easy to communicate with and very helpful. We loved the apartment, sea view with great balcony seating! The kitchen we equipped for cooking and had all our basic needs. In walking distance there are places to get food market wise and a bar to eat. Very simple small town! But has all your basic needs in walking distance. We only took a taxi to get to the next town over and airport! From the Catania airport is 70 or 80 euros to this airbnb, just so you are aware! It is a bit high, but for us was ok for vacation! Wonderful place! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Livio's place. The apartment is well-equipped for a short stay, has an amazing ocean view and is located in a quiet area—perfect for a holiday getaway. It was winter when we visited so it was quite quiet in the town, but there were still places open to grab a pizza or small shops for buying cooking ingredients. Livio is very responsive and helpful, and the picture/description is very accurate. We'd love to come back in the summer!

Livio´s appartment is wonderful, it got everything you need and even much more than expected. We feeled like coming home from the first moment we arrived and were happy to have a great place to stay during our holidays. The appartment offers a fully equipped kitchen (Livio even provided fresh garlic and onions), a lovely bedroom, a big bathroom and a very comfortable sleepingroom. The balcony and the view is amazing, it was a silent and peaceful place and we enjoyed it very much. Livio is a great host!!! The communication was very good, fast and he is so friendly and caring, we can highly recommend anyone Livio. He gave us a lot of advises where we can go and what is worth to see. All together we spend a really good time.

Advantage: Full score, very close to the sea, suitable for two days and above. The landlord is warm and friendly. The rooms are well furnished and aesthetically pleasing, with a Mediterranean or Aegean style and a wide range of cooking and sanitation facilities. There are cute wild cats to visit. I saw three beautiful shorts sleeping on the mat outside the door at night. Disadvantages: Must drive. It is difficult to find a place. Going down the highway to the seaside, the road must be led by the landlord and the road is extremely difficult to open. At night or rain, the driving skills are very high, unless you stay at home all day. Poor sanitation, this is inevitable in this kind of house close to nature. There are many fly mosquito moths in the house. Advantages: Perfect location. Just near the sea and you can enjoy an extraordinary view here. Alban is so kind and thoughtful. Great layout and furnishings inside, got basically everything you need for a little stay here. Some special guests (I saw three cats Dis: You must have a car. Hard to find the location and drive to the front door of the house. Narrow paths and no lights at night. Relatively bad hygiene conditions but somewhat unavoidable for these close-to-nature houses. Lots of bugs. Better to bring bug killer or a brave heart.

Angela & Albans home was in a wonderful beachside house about 10 minutes from Cefalù. The view from the house straight out on to the beach and to the sea was breathtaking. The location was perfect and the house was exceptionally well decorated inside. There were lots of lovely touches and all the necessary equipment needed for a comfortable stay. Angela & Alban were great hosts. Communication with Angela was excellent. Alban welcomed us and brought us to the house and he even came out to the house late one night to help us when we had a problem. We highly recommend this house and our only regret was not being able to stay longer. It is the perfect holiday location!

An adorable house on the beach! We had a wonderful time, almost alone in the world while Cefalù is a 10 minute drive. Do not worry about the railroad going backwards, the sound of the waves makes you forget the trains! Alban kindly greeted us and responded quickly to all our questions. His advice to make us appreciate Cefalù were also excellent! A very very good place to recommend!

This home is l heavenly awesome n right in front of the sea. The location needed a little assistance to access but accommodation is just amazing, The living room open into a patio directly in-front of the beach. This is a really beautiful little house in a stunning location on the beach. It has everything it needs - a great kitchen if you want to cook, indoor and outdoor lounging spaces, a dining table on the terrace for meals and all of it looks out straight into the beach which you can walk out onto as you please. The beach is quiet with few people around. Alban was a great communicator and very friendly - all in all, a wonderful place to spend a few days near to Cefalu.

Leaving this place feels like you've just woken up from a dream. It's a haven of peace and natural beauty and gave us total respite from hectic city life. You don't realise how fast life moves until you experience how slow it moves on Alicudi. Nothing happens in a hurry. The house is perfect and the views and sunrises are beautiful beyond comprehension. Michaela, who looked after us was so helpful and lovely and made sure we had everything throughout. She also gave us great tips as a local on the island and made us amazing lemon tart. Our holiday couldn't have been more perfect.

To reach it you will have to prepare yourself for about 30 minutes of ascent, about 700 steps, but you will not feel the fatigue. At every step, the view is so magical that you forget the sweat. There is no drinking water, but the fantastic outdoor shower with sea view will make you forget everything else. The three terraces of the house, arranged on different levels, will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking view that will change every minute. The colors are vivid, they vibrate. Don't miss sunrise and sunset. They cannot be described with words. We recommend hiking shoes, the island trails are worth exploring in all directions. It is not an island for those who love the typical beach life. Rather for those who like snorkeling. Even today, after a week, I continue to dream of the days spent in Alicudi. It is an island firm in the past, to understand and respect. There are no roads, no cars. There are only mule tracks, illuminated by the stars at night. And people, the inhabitants of the island, who, if at first they seem rather grumpy and closed, then welcome you as part of their family. We had the most wonderful time here. It truly was paradise. Waking up with the sun, having the cat Bartholomeus around, cooking and eating on the terrace, picking Indian figs for breakfast, doing yoga, reading, staring at the endless blue around. I completely fell in love.

Francesco’s flat was perfect for our short stay in Palermo. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. In the evening you could hear some noise from the local bar/restaurant but not enough to put us off. We had our 6 month old baby with us and were pleased that the high chair, travel cot and baby bath were in great condition for him to use.

This cottage is one of the nicest air bnb spots that we have had so far. A nice, warm house which is fully equipped. It is the ultimate place to clear your head and unwind. A vast sea, beautiful sunrise, snorkeling at your door and freshly brewed coffee on the beach. When we were making our lunch, we always had to squeeze ourselves in the arm how beautiful the view is while you are cooking. We stayed here in October with our two kids. They have a wonderful time looking for crabs, shoveling sand and throwing stones into the sea. Often we were already on the beach at 8 am and you felt the sun tickle your skin. Francesco provided a warm welcome and sent a heap of tips on what we could do in the area. For us Syracuse / Ortigia in particular was one to remember but Noto is also an impressive beautiful city! But for the sake of honesty we regularly changed plans because it was simply too wonderful to leave our beach :-)! The cottage is fully equipped and you can shower with a sea view. Enough bed linen and towels and even little buckets and scoops for the kids had been thought of. Nothing but a rave review!

Friendly and functional accommodation at the edge of a small charming beach. What a pleasure to hear the waves to fall asleep. Great location to explore the surroundings and enjoy a swim. We were treated to little touches when we arrived which was very nice (fruit, drinks) and Francesco, always very responsive, gave us great places to eat.

The views and balconies are more amazing in person than the photos. Enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony was definitely the highlight of the place. It’s also very convenient to the town center and was easy to sight-see from this apartment. We will absolutely stay here again during a return visit during a warmer month. This place was excellent in every way, I would highly recommend a long stay here. My husband and I just returned from a nine night stay in November and we absolutely loved it. It was huge so we had tons of room to unpack and get comfortable, and having a full kitchen and two bathrooms was very convenient. The outside spaces were amazing and had outstanding views. We spent a lot of time on the main terrace, and we even got up early one day to watch the sunrise from the sun roof. The parking space was a huge bonus, it made having a rental car not stressful at all. It is only a ten minute walk to the main street of Taormina so you don’t need to use the car when you’re staying in town. We walked to dinner every night with no problems. We only took the car out for day trips to Catania, Syracuse, Mt Etna and Agrigento and it was super convenient to have the car so we could be on our own schedule. Check in and out was super easy, and there was free WiFi that was pretty decent. You would be very lucky to stay here. I hope to come back one day for sure!!!! 🇮🇹

Great space, very near centre, fabulous views.

This place was fantastic. From the incredible views to its ideal location for exploring Taormina, the house had everything. Communication with the host was fantastic. We were greeted by a gentleman named Stefano when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the house and provided stellar recommendations for sights to see and food to eat. The nicest people.

The villa is located in an amazing location with a gorgeous view, 5 min walking distance to the center. Salvatore was awesome really nice guy and easygoing, full of good tips for local food and place to see and visit. Trust always an Italian ;)

A little distance from the bus station, you need to push the luggage to climb the slope, but the room is spacious and comfortable, the bathroom water and hot water supply is no problem, you can watch the sunrise in the courtyard, the environment is very quiet at night, you can rest well. Very recommended!

Really fantastic house !

Anoeta’s place is incredibly beautiful with spectacular views from every angle. The sauna and hot tub were our favourite things but it was hard to choose because this place is an utter paradise. There has been a lot of love and care put into this amazing little house and its beautiful surroindings and this is tangeable and adds to the feeling of being somewhere very special.

This is like an OEHLaLaLaLaLa place! It's stunning, peacefull and exactly what you need! All is present; for relaxing, for adventure, for cold, for warmth, even for a homecooked meal every day. Some say it's small, i think it's big, in every possible way. Anoeta and her husband are funny, friendly super hosts who really make you feel welcome and try to be as helpfull as possible in every single way. Most important of all: this house is full of good vibes, willing to be shared with you, you can really sense it. Enjoy!

The cottage is wonderful and off the beaten track, so remote enough to be very private but accessible to the beach and town if needed. The cottage has a excellent ambience with many special touches to make it feel homely. The property was beautifully clean inside and out and extremely well equipped. It was a perfect location for 2 weeks of complete peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. We cannot speak too highly of Anoeta and Felix. They made us feel very welcome, gave helpful advice and were extremely responsive to queries both before and during our stay. We chose not to hire a car but walked into Lipari town and to the beach and then used bus or taxis to take us back up the hills or to travel further afield. In many years of renting properties abroad this ranks very highly for the special views, lovely property and private location. We hope to return in the future!

This is an incredibly special place which no photo could do justice to - it has to be not just seen but experienced over time to believe. It is incredibly peaceful and wonderful place to unwind and de-stress and everything that you need for a total de-tox including a hot tub! Getting around; we didn’t hire a car or scooter at all while we were there and found by far the best way to see Lipari and the other islands is by boat trips and would highly recommend: Lipari and Salina, a great way of seeing the island and Salina which is beautiful too; Vulcano; Stromboli and Panarea and although we didn’t have time would also recommend Alicudi and Filicudi. The walk into town is steep but manageable and takes about 35-40mins but we would advise the bus back and if tired and with shopping, the luxury of a taxi (you can have a significant number of taxi rides before beginning to incur a similar cost to hiring a car!) Anoeta and Felix could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful, they were kind enough to pick us up and give us a lift at the end as well as a welcome lift half way through the holiday with a shopping load. We really enjoyed meeting them and they absolutely put the super into super hosts. A five star holiday across the board and we look forward to returning- so much more to see and do!

The views from the apartment are breathtaking and is more than worth the price. The apartment is located close to everything (city center and beach). It’s a 8-10 min walk, up some steps, to the city. The beach is a 15 min walk downhill. The apartment is also just 5 mins below the cable car. So, if you don’t want to walk back up from the beach, then take the cable car. You can lounge on the pool deck on a clear night and have a beautiful view of the starry skies. The apartment was clean and the decor was great. There’s a microwave, water boiler, and nespresso machine. The refrigerator had a giant bottle of natural water inside. The shower took a bit getting used to but there was hot water. I recommend taking a bath instead of a shower if you can. The host is Lu. Lu’s friend Roberto checked us in and was nearby if we needed anything. They gave great tips on food and things to do. All in all, awesome experience!

It was perfect. This was our first stop in Sicily and it made us feel safe and comfortable. It was also very clean and had heating which was important this time of year. Lorenzo was very kind and explained everything, including how to take the bus from the airport. Overall, it was a perfect experience.

This is place is amazing, seems brand new. Had all the amenities you’d want. Super close to all the sites. Super clean and the host is always available and willing to help out with anything.

Excellent accomodation for a trip to Catania.

Everything is perfect except the power of water stream in shower, it's very weak. All the other things are perfect, there's nothing bad to say, really — we had totally everything a traveller might need. Though a little bit confusing was the checkout time, at 10 in the morning, as for me it's a bit early. Also, we had only one keys bundle and if someone leaves the flat, he takes the keys and there's no way to use electricity for the other one who stays, because to use electricity you always have to keep the keys inside the wall. All the other things are completely perfect — towels, shower stuff, a little food in the kitchen, Smart TV with Netflix — fantastico!

Great listing, to be honest when we entered Catania, we were disappointed with this city and thought of booking another accommodation in another city without returning to Catania, but in the end we returned and It feels really unexpected. The house is as welcoming as the pictures and the details are intimate. It was also very clean. I felt that I had returned to my home. The landlord communicated in a timely manner and was very enthusiastic. I regret that I did not stay for two more days. In short, it is a worthwhile place to stay. If there is a chance to come to Catania in the future, I will definitely hope to have a chance to stay.

I highly recommend this apartment to everyone who will come to Sicily . First the location is very convenient, u can walk few minutes to bus station and some attractions . Second it’s super clean with brand new decoration. Last but not least the host is super nice , we actually have some misunderstandings before we stay but host solve problems promptly . Thank you again . They are all helpful when you have any questions. Anyway I feel like comfort to stay here and really like it .

We had a great time at the appartment with the wonderfull sea view. Even though it was November we enjoyed sunny mornings at the terrace, visited the nearby places (Taormina, Catania and of course the Etna!) and even had a swim in the sea. We spent 3 days in apartment of Livio and we really enjoyed it. The apartment is clean, with nice decoration and everything you need. We enjoyed the balcony with great sea view! Livio is a great host! He speaks English very good and he is very helpful. We can definitely recommend this place and we’d like to come back!

What a lovely stay in Stazzo. The apartment is beautiful and its location allows to visit the areas of Etna, Taormina, Catania, Syracuse. The terrace charmed us. A lovely roomy apartment overlooking the sea. The balcony is lovely and a great place to chill. Livio was a great host. Although there is a shop, bar and restaurant within walking distance, it is a very quiet town (we visited in October-I imagine its different in summer) so would recommend having a car to go off and explore other areas. Giovanni's apartment is a marvel. Furnished in vintage style, very accurate in detail, large and very comfortable, it is located in a historic building in Palermo. The central location is super. Giovanni warmly welcomed us, also giving us valuable advice to better enjoy the city. Should I return to Palermo it will certainly be here.

Mega cool place. Well placed. Brilliant interiors with character. Anywhere close, soacery around the area at any time is a mega adventure. Cozy and spacious. A pleasant host. I would highly recommend.

Giovanni was a wonderful host and his place was so spacious and wonderfully decorated. He also had lots of dishes, wine glasses, and a great kitchen—even olive oil and balsamic which I quickly put to use in making a salad. The two bedrooms were beautiful and the beds and bedding were super comfortable. There is also a gigantic and wonderful tree (banyan I think) in the center of the complex that the apartment is in that you can see just outside the bedroom window. Giovanni met us personally and helped us figure out parking. He also recommended a few great restaurants nearby, and even let us leave our luggage at his place the last day before we caught the night ferry back to Naples. Thank you Giovanni for being such a great host!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. Felt like a genuine old Palermo place to live and Giovanni has added lots of curated and interesting objet and mid century furniture around the place that adds some real style. Great location with lots to explore on foot nearby. Go ahead and book this place anytime!

Giovanni was very easy to reach and very accommodating with our late check-in. The Palazzo is full of character and has a wonderful central location. The decor is kitsch and modern, very cute. We loved our stay and recommend Giovanni's palazzo. The king beds are very large, we slept 5 adults very pleasantly. Thank you Giovanni!

We enjoyed our stay there, we were there for 2 days, but we felt that we could of stayed for many more days. The apartment is very well situated just close to the center of the city and there’s great restaurants around. Loved our experience over all!
