“MOKOJI is a little-hidden gem in the centre of Newington, serving up traditional Yakiniku style BBQ with a modern Australian twist. MOKOJI is one of the only Yakiniku restaurants to serve full-blood Wagyu beef marble scored 9+, one of the purest. A dining experience that is interactive and great for families and friends looking to try something different.”

Café
“This has been our local cafe for many years. Always a great place to drop in to get a coffee or a bit of brunch or lunch. Staff are friendly without being intrusive and over the top and the price is reasonable. I would recommend trying Lemon Tree if you are in the area for sure.”

Restaurant
“This small restaurant has amazing korean fried chicken! Their beer battered chips are one of the best in Sydney. I have been here so many times and it never disappoints. The staff are also very friendly and accomodating too. If you dine in they do check up on you and offer refreshing pickled radishes as a side dish with unlimited refills. They are great at giving takeaway boxes if you can't finish your food, already fitted with aluminium foil so the oil doesn't go everywhere. It's little things they do here that keep bringing us back because its always a great experience, with delicious food.”
