“Expensive but good. The first of many stores, that now is all over Denmark. Try one of the many traditionel “Danish wiernerbrød” or a Christianshavnertærte! The chokorug is also my favorite.”

“With Noma becoming the best restaurant in the world 4 times, even simple food like pastries have been elevated to an unprecedented level. We love pastries and we've done our research, Juno The Bakery may not have as many types of pastries available as other bakeries but those they do are at a whole new level and will redefine your understanding of a pastry.”

“Conditori La Glace is the oldest and probably best confectionary in Denmark. Founded in the middle of old Copenhagen on the 8th of October 1870, it has through six generations delivered joy and quality to Copenhagen and its visitors. It is an experience to visit the beautiful old rooms located in Skoubogade 3. La Glace has a lot to offer, including good taste, traditions, history, as well as quick and qualified service. You can choose to enjoy the confections on location or bring the cakes home with you for coffee.”

“Simple, yet effective! At the baker chain called Lagkagehuset you can buy delicious buns in different varieties and eat it there or to go - it is great if you are in a rush or do not want a big breakfast. We usually eat at the corner of Runddelen - address: Nørrebrogade 120. There is also a Lagkagehuset closer to the city center with a nice view over the lakes - address: Sortedam Dossering 9. It is a 10-15 minute walk away. ”
