“The Palmer Arms is a very short drive or approximate 10 minute walk through the village from Appletree Cottage. The Palmer Arms is a dual purpose pub, with a child friendly atmosphere with a big garden, kids play area and a range of simple but excellent food. Simultaneously the restaurant area offers high quality restaurant food for romantic candlelit dinners.”

“Not in the nicest location, 7mins drive, but its a breakfast place that is frequented by the locals, and really tasty! Tummies is a well established independent restaurant suitable for all occasions from a romantic meal for two to a large party booking. Our aim remains to serve great quality unpretentious home cooked food suitable for all with friendly service in a casual environment. Whether you are visiting this area on business or with your family, you are always most welcome. We also have a great Bar and Private rooms for dining are available.”
