Shopping Centre
“Clossest mall where you find everything. We like to go there to get cheep groceries at the International Store outside the mall and then have e.g. a frozen yoghurt or a smoothie as a treat. Metro 4 and 5 both go there and some of the busses.”

Bakery

“Åpent Bakeri is a chain of really good bakeries in Oslo. The first one opened about ten years ago and became an instant hit because of their uncompromising take on baked goods. Their cinnamon buns are amazing, and even though they've expanded, the place is still as good. This is the bakery me and my girlfriend visit because the surrounding area is so beautiful. It's in a quiet, rich area, with old houses and a fountain close-by. ”

“ Norway's national football (soccer) stadium, opened in 1926. Norway's national men's team and Vålerenga's men's team play their home games at the stadium, which has a capacity of 28,000. Ullevaal is also used for concerts in summer. Ullevaal Stadion is also home to UBC (Ullevaal Business Class), one of Norway's largest conference centres. UBC also offers various VIP concepts in connection with football games and concerts.”

“My best food tip for Nydalen area (a nice 10-15 min walk) is this Asian fusion crossover. “Crispy duck” is of course a favourite, but the menu has many temptations. A bit pricy, but worth it.”
