This is the original Spice Bus that fans will know and love from the movie Spice World but with an interior makeover. Working with some incredible designers, we’ve turned it into accommodation so you can stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dreams. The bus has the added bonus of being situated in an stunning location overlooking the marina. There is a Bar, Restaurant and a small shop on site. You can reach us by land, air or sea!
The outside of the bus looks exactly as it did in the Spice World movie, with its iconic Union Jack-painted exterior. I’m a huge fan of the band and have tried to include as many little touches as possible inspired by the girls and their music, to make the inside just as iconic as the outside! Inside, guests will have the run of both floors, which have been lovingly renovated with little nods to each of the Spice Girls and some fairly bold interiors. The bus can sleep up to three people, with two sharing a double bed and one on a single day bed. Downstairs: The driver’s seat remains at the front of the bus – sadly no Meatloaf! Towards the back of the bus there’s a spacious seating area with a table and three Union Jack cinema-style chairs for relaxing in front of the TV or listening to Wannabe on repeat on the old school CD player. Upstairs: There is a double bed at the back of the bus, as well as a day bed, which can accommodate a third guest if needed. There is also a separate dressing room area, complete with rail and dressing table – perfect for Spice Girl-inspired makeovers. Please note, I have no official affiliation with the Spice Girls - I just want fellow fans to enjoy the Spice Bus as much as I have. I’m looking for guests who share my love of the Spice Girls, have a verified Airbnb profile and have great reviews! Please also identify your guests when requesting to book. A facilities block will be located a few steps from the bus for your private use. In the facilities block, there will be a toilet, sink and shower room, as well as toiletries and towels. Within this block there is also a kitchenette area with a sink, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is a mini fridge inside the bus. Note, there are no bathroom facilities on the bus itself. As the bus still has it’s original structure, there are a number of steps so unfortunately, it is not suited for all accessibility needs. Other things to note: ● There are no kitchen facilities or running water on the bus. There are shops and a restaurant within a minutes’ walk ● There is no WiFi on the bus, there is WiFi at the onsite bar/restaurant ● The bus will be located on Island Harbour Marina ● All guests must be 12 years or older ● The bus sleeps three people ● Height restrictions are 1.7 metres so watch your head! ● Towels will be provided in the separate facilities block ● The bus has electricity points Please also note there is no smoking on the bus or within the grounds and sadly no pets allowed!
The bus is located within a stunning marina based on the River Medina, just 2 miles from Newport town centre where there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. It is reachable on foot within approximately 25 minutes or there is a bus stop half a mile up the lane. You will also find Medina Leisure Centre and Theatre close by. The Isle of Wight is an incredible place to visit, for what's going on during your stay take a look at Visit Isle of Wight!

  • Such a fantastic and unique Spice Girls themed bus. Brilliant for my proposal to a Spice Girls superfan (he said yes 🥰). Would recommend this place without hesitation. There were so many little Spice Girls touches & the marina is lovely. We had an evening meal & breakfast at The Breeze restaurant and it was reasonably priced and very tasty (good wine too 🍷) .   • Wow what an adventure! We absolutely loved our stay on the spice bus. The bus itself has been done with such care and attention to the little things. The amenities block has everything you need and the snuggly robes are a great touch. All the 90s DVDs and CDs were such a fun touch we loved having a boogie on the bus and a dress up in the costumes. Name is wonderful and was super helpful before we booked and all the way right up to our arrival. The people on site were friendly and great. The location is fabulous with lots around to do, see and eat. I cannot recommend a stay on the bus more! All I can say is have fun and enjoy 🌟

  • We had such a wonderful 2 nights on the Spice Bus. It really is even better in real life, has been finished to a really high standard and has endless Girl Power finishing touches! Located on a gorgeous Marina about 15-20 mins drive from East Cowes ferry terminal, it's in a really convenient yet peaceful location. We opted to get a 2 day bus ticket and bus everywhere, as there are regular buses across the IOW, but do note that the marina is up a country lane so that would def have been easier by taxi in hindsight! It's fully heated and air conditioned - we stayed in October and were warm and toasty. Special mention to The Breeze restaurant which is on site and almost next door to the bus. Lush gastro pub type food at really reasonable prices meant we went there for breakfast and had dinner one night too - def recommended! Note there isn't a shop on site, so worth popping to a supermarket on your way (although tea and coffee are kindly provided). We chose to spend an evening watching films in our PJs and the full day we had was spent at Osborne House, the stunning former residence of Victoria and Albert (a National Trust property) that's around 10 mins away and is also fantastic. So there's heaps to do on your doorstep, too. Just don't forget those pics for Instagram! Overall, we had a delightful break from hectic city life with a generous helping of nostalgia thrown in. I would recommend Suzanne's Spice Bus to everyone and hope to come back one day to explore the IOW further.

    Pretty cabin tucked away in a quiet walled garden close to Titchfield
    Magic Cottage is a pretty wooden cabin in the peaceful walled garden of our 16th Century stable block house. It can be made up with a very comfy super kingsize bed or twins, and we can add a child's mattress for an extra little one if needed. Please advise when booking if you would like twin beds. The bed will be made up as a super kingsize as standard. The cabin catches the morning sun, so it's lovely to open up the doors and let the light flood in, or sit outside on the decking and enjoy the sunshine. Magic Cottage has a seating area with sofa, coffee table and TV with Freeview. It has a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and sink in the kitchen area and a gas barbecue with side burner on the deck but no full cooking facilities. So you can keep some wine and nibbles cool in the fridge, put together a picnic, warm up a ready meal, or cook up a barbecue or full English for breakfast, but not rustle up a slap up meal. It also has an en suite shower room, and a terrace to enjoy the sun in the mornings. The cabin is built from recycled materials and everything we do follows an eco philosophy, right through to the shampoo, shower gel and soap. The essentials are there for when you arrive - tea, coffee, sugar, milk for a cuppa, and oil, salt and pepper for cooking. For chilly weather, there is a really efficient wood burning stove style electric heater in the cabin that takes no time to heat up the room. It makes it really cosy, and gives off a warm flickering glow to create a lovely atmosphere, especially with the lights down low. It even has a remote control so you can turn it on from your bed in the morning, so it is lovely and warm before you step from under the covers, and off after you climb in at night! In the winter we also put in a small oil filled electric radiator for background heat, which can be left on low all the time if it’s chilly. We don't provide breakfast, but there is a good little shop under 10 minutes' walk or two minutes' drive away open from 7am til 11pm. It's a Co-op with with fresh fruit and veg, meat, wine, beer and most things you could need for your stay. Even fresh croissants baked on-site every morning, which you can bring back warm from the oven. The gas bbq is easy to flash up and cook whatever you fancy for breakfast. There are Chineese and Indian takeaways that deliver, and fish and chip shops to eat on the deck or take to the beach. There are also a couple of good pubs nearby, and some excellent cafes (we are coffee feinds, and can point you in the right direction for the best coffee). You can also drive along the seafront to Gosport and catch the ferry to Portsmouth where you can visit the HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose at the Historic Naval Dockyard and museums, or visit Gunwharf Quays with restaurants, bars, cinemas, bowling and outlet shopping. Much better than driving into Portsmouth, and more of an 'adventure'. We also run a kitesurfing school, so this is the perfect place to come and stay for a kitesurfing break or course. We have a portacot available for little ones, or you can book our glamping tent next to Magic Cottage if you have more in your family/group. Our standard check in time is after 3pm and check out before 11am. Though we do try and be flexible if we can, so sometimes you may be able to arrive earlier or leave later, but please can you arrange with us in advance. Please note that we spend the UK winter in New Zealand (see our other listings!). Our neighbours manage Magic Cottage for us, so it is still available to the same high standard. However, it may mean that I can't answer questions or enquiries during the UK daytime, as I will be in NZ asleep! I will get back to you when I wake up (UK evening time). So please don't think I am ignoring you, or that Magic Cottage is unavailable. Of course, you can still book in the normal way over airbnb, and I will accept your booking when I come online.   • Just what the doctor ordered. A lovely, tranquil weekend away in nature. Zoe and Berny were great hosts and communication was excellent right from the start. Beautiful little cottage with everything one would need for a getaway. Our batteries were very much recharged and we didn’t want to leave. The highlights for us were: the incredibly comfortable king size bed, the outside hammock and the lovely village feel to the area. Donny’s tearoom do delicious lunches! We were very sad to leave but had a really lovely time. We would highly recommend giving the ‘Magic Cottage’ a go. Thank you again! :)

  • Very high standard lodge finished brilliantly in picturesque views. Hot tub was amazing hidden behind the lodge. Nice walk through the woodland or safe walk to the pubs. The ox in North Baddesley is a nice pub that also do takeaway Italian food as well as a restaurant area and the Chilworth arms have a really nice restaurant and bar that also serve lovely food. Would definitely go again and Anna is really good at communicating and makes the booking so easy

    This exciting tree house is fantastic for families as well as a romantic breaks for couples and a unique getaway for groups of friends. You have the upmost privacy as you are right in the centre of nature. The Treehouse offers a bit of natural luxury, set in peaceful woodland surroundings, with lots of natural timber and slate decor, smart bedlinen, fluffy towels and a contemporary bathroom. It sleeps 4-6, having a master bedroom, a bunk room, and a hayloft area with double futon. The sleep-house is joined by decking to a separate cosy living-house, with logburner and full kitchen facilities, with a big outdoor deck and BBQ facilities below.     We are situated on the North coast of the Island, within 5 mins of both major car ferries, it is really easy to get to by car, taxi or by bike, and we have plenty of parking, and safe places to put your bikes. We are in a great location on the edge of the village of Wootton, where there are shops - mini Tesco, pharmacy, petrol, Majestic, etc ! It is just 3 mins drive to the High Street. We are also only about a 7 min drive down to East Cowes, where there is a Waitrose. And 4 mins from a lovely farmshop with cafe/restaurant. So you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere - in lovely rural peace and quiet - but you are really not far from civilisation at all ! And it's a great starting point for visiting places all over the Island , where there is a huge variety of things to do for all ages and preferences !   • My 5 friends and I had such a great stay at this amazing place. The beds were very comfy after chilling in the main space with a wood burner going and some glasses of red wine. An Outdoor bbq, table tennis and games means there is plenty to keep yourselves entertained in a peaceful part of the IOWight. Only a 5-10min drive from the ferry if you head to Fishbourne which was great. Fiona was a fab host! 5 stars!

  • Gorgeous unique little cabin beautifully styled and with a fantastic view. We had fish and chips from the local chippy with Prosecco and watched the sun go down over the sea. The next morning we got up late to the amazing view again and went for brunch in the Salt cafe before a quick walk along the foreshore to the castle. Thanks for everything this was a real find.   • The Ivy Hut is a lovely little escape! It's easy from London and Anna gave very clear instructions. The hut is small and perfectly formed. It is exceptionally clean and cosy. Bed and sheets were so soft and comfy. Lots of local info available for us and good little fridge for our snacks and lunch! Hot tub is also brilliant. It was even heated up ready for us on our arrival which was so good. Lots of little books and crannies to store things so it doesn't feel tiny. The fireplace also made me feel like I was definitely away from London and in the country! Saw ducks, a heron and 7 frogs around the golf course! I definitely recommend the hut!

    Experience the best country getaway with Barn on the Green. The standalone barn has been fully refurbished to a high standard, ideal for an escape to the country. A lazy break or a busy exploration trip - Barn on the Green is the perfect base!
    Barn on the Green is a delightful converted barn which takes the idea of the 'boutique break' and makes it a reality. Recently refurbished, the barn features its own entrance and ample parking should you wish to drive. Inside, the downstairs of the barn features a full seperate kitchen which includes a hob, combi oven/microwave, washing machine and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a large storage room downstairs which features a log burning stove (please see 'other things to note' for log fee info) and two armchairs, plus large opening doors which open to a small seating area outside. The upstairs of the barn is where the luxury element to your stay truly kicks in, with a large open plan room featuring a freestanding bath at the end of the truly comfortable double bed. There is also a seperate self contained ensuite which features a sink, toilet and freestanding shower. The main bedroom upstairs also includes a flatscreen smart television which can be enjoyed from the sofa. The barn is light and airy during the warmer months and can be snug and secure during the winter. The perfect retreat all year round. Doggies are more than welcome at Barn on the Green, we have a small fenced area for them at the front of the barn. Prior to your arrival please indicate to us if you are bringing a dog and how many. We take a £10 cash in hand fee for EACH dog staying which we take upon arrival - this is for cleaning. Upon arrival guest are provided with a basket full of treats and milk in the fridge.
    The New Forest National Park is a truly beautiful location which has the best of both worlds, the country and the sea! Nearby attractions include the Georgian sailing town of Lymington which features designer boutiques, great pubs and fine dining. The open forest is also on the doorstep and makes for great exploring territory. The village of Pilley boast a great local pub, The Fleur de Lys which is less than a 10 minute walk from Barn on the Green. Neighbouring village 'East Boldre' also has a great pub, The Red Lion which is less than 10 minutes away by car. There are many villages to explore within the New Forest and we would be happy to recommend our favourites to you. One of our nearest villages is called Brockenhurst and this has a main railway station with direct links to great destinations for a day trip out. Weymouth and Bournemouth are all great places that have direct trains to them. There are also trains direct to the nearby town of Southampton (all the big shops here) and also there are direct trains to London Waterloo.

  • I don’t even know where to start with expressing how wonderful this place is. The hosts are helpful and friendly - couldn’t do more for you. The location is great and you can catch the train (which is very cheap) to so many different places, but Lymington is lovely and if you wanted to just stay in the barn there’s a handful of little pubs which are just a walk away. We also had a takeaway delivered to us at the barn last night. It was exactly what myself and partner needed for a stress-free break. We will 100% be back in the summer. If you’re contemplating if to book this or not ... do it !!! You will not be disappointed. The barn is so beautiful. This was our first ever airb&b booking and I can’t believe I’ve never used it before. The Barn on the Green has become one of our favourite places and just from 1 visit will hold lovely memories.   • This was our first Air B&B stay and couldn't have wished for a more perfect experience . Neil and Viv were excellant hosts and nothing was too much trouble . The Barn was spotlessly clean with lots of personal touches as well as bread, milk orange juice all awaiting us . The upstairs bedroom is spacious and warm with a big comfy bed and an amazing bath .     This beautiful little cabin has been custom made. Brian is a carpenter and built this himself, it is a little home form home! This space is private and quiet, perfect to rest or work with its own private entrance. It is light and airy with double doors opening straight into the garden, great for watching the birds and the odd hedgehog. There is a single bed which extends to a double. A table for dining or working - plus a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. You have your own private ensuite bathroom which has a newly installed shower, toilet and sink.
    Our neighbourhood is a pretty street with traditional Victorian houses; it has a suburban feel while being very close to the centre. We are minutes away from Southampton Common (which is great for a walk or a cycle.) There are plenty trendy bars and restaurants in Bedford Place which is about a 10-minute walk. We have a supermarkets also very close within a 10-minute walk. I would also be happy to give you a list of good pubs, places of history or interest, music venues and local amenities.

    A newly renovated apartment in an old Victorian property. You have self check-in and out for privacy and flexibility. The space includes double bedroom with views into garden, private fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a shower unit. There is a garden which you are very welcome to use, sun permitting! I may occasionally be gardening in an adjoining space but for the most part this is for your sole use :)
    We are very near to Shirley High Street, public transport and links to the motorway. The General Hospital is within walking distance as is Southampton Common for the strollers (like me! :) or the runners. We have a large Sainsburys also within walking distance which is very handy and lots of other shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Happy to give recommendations. Anglesey Road which we overlook has 24-hour, permit free parking.

    We have a quaint room to offer on The Avenue in central Southampton just 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre. Modern, double room with wardrobe and side table. The bathroom is just next door, off the kitchen with towels, mats and toiletries provided. There are buses running from directly outside & perfect for both universities.
    Gorgeous sun room, with double doors to garden. Wet Style Shower Room with tiled floor, WC and towels & soaps provided. Guests are welcome to use the decking space during their stay. We have two Airbnb rooms, with minimal impact on one another, however just to let you know :) We also have two small shih-tzus whom are kept with me during your stay. *** Please note we do not provide breakfast simply due to our working arrangements.     We are really central here and very close to local bus stops. If you take a left out of the house and walk down London Road, you are in town/high street in 15 minutes. Uber services the Avenue or West Quay Cars if you wish to use a taxi are very local. There are excellent restaurants in Watermark West Quay or on Bedford Place, London Road or the city centre. You really are spoilt for choice! The Common is excellent for a walk and is 10 minutes up The Avenue to the right.

    This lovely ground flat is a very comfortable space with all you would need for a short or long term stay. It has a large lounge with TV, a double bedroom with en suit shower room.     I'm in sunny southampton, well the sun's out, sometimes, it's a very safe city, and quite small for a city, that it feels like a large town, we have 2 universities here, so a large students population, a fair amount of history, and lots of restaurants, shops, and bars , I've lived here for 30 years, in the same flat, on the lower ground floor, I open out my french windows to sloping grass lawns which back onto a protected wooded area, and because I'm so close to the city centre, is why I like the area I live in

It was a good location for this being only about five minutes walk from Southampton Central rail station and ten minutes walk from the Guildhall. Communication prior to arrival with Chris was very good and the apartment was easy to find and check-in was straightforward. The apartment, bedroom and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfortable. Ash is a very relaxed host, leaving you to be with very reasonable house rules which I really appreciated in comparison to previous hosts. The room is spacious with a beautiful spacious bathroom (walk in shower). The room itself had a comfy bed, big desk which was perfect for studying and loads of storage for clothes and suitcases. Ash was always very kindly offering fresh towels and sheets (or whatever else I needed). The kitchen is joined with the living room and there is a lot of space to leave food and Ash had all necessary equipment to do meals. Even though I had no trouble with sleeping, if you are a light sleeper, I would bring earplugs as this a newly built flat and the walls can be thin. Parking can be a bit of an issue as there is limited space, so you might have to move your car every now and then. I would highly recommend this host overall. The stay was peaceful and relaxed (plus the flat is beautiful) and Ash is a great host!

    A lovely light and airy loft room in Southampton, close to the University and Halls of Residence. It is ideally situated for easy access to Southampton Airport, the port and the City Centre, close to the M3, M27 and local bus routes. It is the perfect location for those visiting the University or students in the area; coming to the Southampton Boat Show; needing an overnight stay ahead of a cruise; or a home from home if you regularly come to the city for business or pleasure!
    We converted our loft into a room over 9 years ago and have loved having people stay with us ever since! We love meeting new people and especially enjoy making them feel welcome in what we affectionately refer to as the 'penthouse suite'! This is a family home and the kids will enjoy saying hello but we promise that the room is a sanctuary of peace and quiet once the door is closed!
    Our house is in the 'flower roads' which is an estate with a mix of rented, council and privately owned housing. Families, students and professionals connected to the University live here and we have found it a very happy place to raise our family. The nearby Burgess Road boasts a wide range of takeaway places to suit any taste! Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Pizza, Kebabs, Burgers, Fish and Chips are all on offer. There is also a small Sainsburys for any other grocery items you may need to pick up. On the edge of the University campus there is a Costa Coffee and a Pret where you can pick up a coffee and a bite.

    My place is close to all the public transport, the city centre, art and culture, right next to the new cinema and restaurant quarter of Town and a short walk to the Mayflower theatre. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood, its in the heart of Southampton City Centre and close to lots of the main attractions! My apartment is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families. This apartment also benefits from secure parking, Wireless internet and a communal garden.
    Anything that is in the apartment such a 55 inch smart tv, dishwasher and washing machine.

  • Christopher was terrific in being so prompt to confirm our booking on such a short notice. His check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow and he was very keen to help should we struggle to get in, but it was fine. Having never been to Southampton before, I did not realise at the time of booking how perfectly located Christopher's apartment was! It was close to amazing shops and restaurants just a minutes walk away. This was really convenient! Even though we had a car and private parking space, we did not bother to use the car. The apartment was warm, cosy and clean and had everything we needed. It was a lovely weekend and we would highly recommend to anyone wishing to explore Southampton and stay in a modern, cosy city apartment.

  • Located at 3 minutes walk from both the bus and train station, just off the high street next to WestQuay shopping centre, this superbly presented apartment could not be more central. With an on-site parking to boot. Stylishly furnished, and really clean, this apartment is equipped to the smallest detail in terms of cutlery, crockery, appliances. Christopher even thought of ear buds. Superhost indeed. Great TV options, Netflix included. I know I will be using this apartment over the coming years. Just makes sense.

Perfect base for exploring Winchester, The New Forest, Bournemouth, Portsmouth etc.
    I live in a 3 bed semi detached house with a garden in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. The room has a small double bed with a firm mattress. Clothes rail for hanging clothes and storage boxes as shown in the photo to store clothes, shoes etc Bedside table. bedside lamp, mirror Clean fresh bed linen and towels. Tea/coffee facilities in the room.
    The house is in a quiet cul de sac in the heart of Southampton within a safe neighbourhood. It is easy to get to most places in Southampton, mostly within walking distance. Shops are 10 minutes walk away, where you can buy your groceries etc, also bars, restaurants, take aways and night clubs. It is especially vibrant on a Friday or Saturday night. I can't think of anywhere I would prefer to live in Southampton as its safe and quiet and everything I need is within walking distance.
