“BT's Smokehouse offers some of the best southern style bbq anywhere! Lunch, dinner or late night snack, the ribs, fried chicken and brisket are to die for! They open at 11:00 am and lines usually start when they open, however it's worth the wait! BT's is BYOB, so visit Yankee Spirits Liquor Store right next door to grab a couple brews to enjoy with your bbq!”

“The location is a little weird as it in the parking lot to Yankee Spirits, But once you get in the look is nice and the food has always been good. The calamari is big enough to be a meal. Pub style seating or tables. May need reservation on pear weekend times”

“Old Sturbridge Village (OSV) is a living museum located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, in the United States, which re-creates life in rural New England during the 1790s through 1830s. It is the largest living museum in New England, covering more than 200 acres (80 hectares). The Village includes 59 antique buildings, three water-powered mills, and a working farm. The museum is a popular tourist and educational field trip destination. Costumed interpreters speaking in modern language help visitors understand 19th-century life.”

“Westville Lake is situated on the Quinebaug River in the towns of Southbridge and Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Westville offers a variety of hiking opportunities, group picnic shelters, a picnic cove, a large recreation field, canoe/kayak launches, and much more. The recreation area features a large open field, a picnic cove with trees for shade on those hot summer days, and beautiful waterside views for wildlife viewing. Westville Lake offers two large picnic shelters for hosting any number of events, a canoe/kayak launch into a slow current river, fishing opportunities, plenty of charcoal grills and picnic tables for everyone to enjoy, and a trail network perfect for hiking for all ages. French Restaurant

“One of our favorite outings in the area: small and very welcoming; the owners offer excellent French cuisine: Marie-Paule is an authentic French cook and Jay a very caring host. If you linger long enough, Marie-Paule may even sing French songs for you; she has a lovely voice! No liquor license, so be sure to BYOB…”
