“If in need of a good coffee, sweet treat or gelato this is the go-to place. It's also usually open on Public Holidays when other places are closed. It does open later at 9am. They roast their own coffee on-site. Great location on the waterfront boulevard”

Bakery
“Best and only bakery for real, proper bread. A few minutes walk; hop up a very low wall at the end of our street, through a little car park, through Mitre 10 car park and turn right . after the liquor store on the right. Worth it for the yummy sourdough, this is where the restaurants get their bread from.. ”

“The newest edition to Albert town and a short 5 min drive from downtown Wanaka is Pembroke Patisseries. Its a cute little cafe serving great coffee and amazing pastries sweet and savoury. They make amazing donuts but the almond croissants are next level good times! May i suggest a bike ride along the Clutha river track ending up at the cafe for morning tea or an afternoon delight. ”
