Skating Rink
“The Sun Valley Ice Rink is legendary and an intricate part of the Sonya Henie movie Sun Valley Serenade. It has outdoor ice skating year around. The Sun Valley on Ice show is a must see on a Saturday night outside under the stars. There is bleacher seating and a dinner on the lodge terrace is available as a package prior to the show. See National and World class skaters performing each week. If you have lunch on the terrace in the summer around 12:30 you can see these fine athletes practicing.”

Music Venue
“Defnitely a high light for Sun Valley in the summer. The free concerts by the acclaimed Sun Valley Symphony is not to be missed. Come and sit on the grass outside of the pavillion for a picnic and enjoy not only the concert with the Grass flat screens but also the breath taking views of Dollar as the sun goes down. But bring a sweater as when the sun goes down in the summer it gets chilly.”
