“Best happy hour in town is why! Get there early to get in line, or go midweek. $3 cocktails and appetizers (i.e., grilled cheese WITH a cup of soup) and/or $10 bottles of wine. And HH lasts till 7, which is a rarity. The space is a bit crowded, but wind your way past the narrow bar into the dimly lit lounge, or take a few more steps to the enclosed patio.”

“I usually don't like eggplants but the Mousakka Batinjan was heavenly. Their pita bread is so squishy and delicious! (Did I mention it's free?) Pro-tip: It's hard to find parking on this section of Hawthorne, so prepare to park and walk.”

“Classic Portland Bar, been around long before it was "hip" to be what it is. ***** (All of Portland is full of great, art, culture, partying, hiking, biking, shopping, people watching, sight seeing and eating. I couldn't possibly list them all. If you are looking for something specific or have a certain taste in mind please feel free to ask me, I'm happy to point you in the right direction.)”

“If you are not into pinball, skip it. Bartenders are nice, food is bad, the clientele are loud and drunk. The type of crowd that would all erupt in synchronized song if Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" came on the jukebox. But amazing selection of pinball games and they are kept in good shape! ”

“ A great place to get many of the favorite local beers and ciders as well as kombucha on tap all in one place. This spot also has great outdoor seating and a couple of great food carts connected to enjoy with your drink. ”
