Great location, very close to Central Station, walking distance to the Art Gallery and other attractions. The area has a lot of character and so does the apartment. It was clean and had everything we needed. The host was easy to reach, friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a great experience.

This was easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. Both the Airbnb itself and Bron are amazing. There are so many thoughtful touches from cool art pieces to Aesop soap in the bathroom and the design of the home is architecturally stunning. I was staying alone and Bron made me feel so welcome - she’s a social butterfly and knows everyone in the neighborhood so she introduced me to all her friends and invited me to get drinks/dinner with them! We got our nails done together and she has great taste and recommendations as well. I only stayed at Bron’s for one night at the end of my Sydney trip but I wish I had stayed longer. I would go back to Sydney just to stay at Bron’s place again!

Staying with Bron & Gavin is a uniquely lovely experience. Bron immediately embraces you into her home and you effectively become a member of the family. She is a beautiful warm hearted lady with a fantastic sense of humor and her passion for creativity cannot be missed. Each detail of decor has a story and a consideration. I have had the pleasure of meeting and dining with her family whom reflect her warmth and character. I was a solo traveler spending a few days in Sydney. The location of Bron’s home is easy for walking everywhere and within Surry Hills which has many eateries to explore. I arrived as an unknown individual but I feel I left behind lovely friends whom I look forward to sharing a glass of wine when our paths cross again.

Mel's house is a lovely place to stay at. Mel is very friendly and will help you with anything. Her dog Harry is adorable and loves to play and getting her tummy scratched. I loved the inside decoration. The whole house was perfectly clean and it just made you feel at home. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

Mel was the most welcoming and accommodating host! I loved staying at her beautiful terrace home in Redfern with her cute dog Harry. It was a perfect location close to the train station and awesome little cafes everywhere. The room was spacious with lovely natural light and a VERY comfortable bed. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Beautiful touches and art around the home, with a stunning mirror feature wall. Thanks Mel!

You MUST stay here! Mel has created a comfortable contemporary environment that is perfectly located in the quaint Redfern community. The town is very walkable and has cute shops and eateries (an an excellent barber). Public transportation to the city or other areas is a short walk away. (and Sydney has enabled their public transportation to use any tap enabled credit card on public transportation, so you can avoid buying an Opal card). Most importantly, you'll get to meet Harry! Harry is a wonderful housemate. She is well mannered and very loving. Scratch her belly and she'll love you forever! If you're not a dog person, you won't understand. If you are, you get it. Next time I'm in Sydney, I will be back here. The hospitality, cleanliness, personal touches, and of course puppy time make the trip worthwhile. Thanks Mel and Harry.

Mel is simply the best host. So kind and generous. Also loved her dog and friend. The room is fantastic with a very comfy bed. Also loved the neighbourhood so much. Felt safe and friendly.

Upon arriving in Redfern, Mel was so accomodating and helpful. Her pup Harry also provided great company. Mel was kind enough to give us suggestions on where we should adventure, including landmarks and dining spots. We had a great time and enjoyed staying in her beautiful home!

Mel has a really nice house! It’s in a great location for the city and for transport to the beach! We felt welcome from the moment we got there and all amenities were taking care of perfectly! The bed was comfy too! Mel is really friendly and up for a chat and even offered us to have a drink with her and her friend one night, which we really enjoyed!

A lovely studio in a convenient location, very easy to get anywhere in Sydney. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend if you’re spending a few days in Sydney!

Studio looks exactly as the pictures. Super clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom so you don't need to worry when cooking or bringing food back to eat. The bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I thought was an especially nice touch since not a lot of hosts provide that. WiFi is strong and reliable. Location is absolutely fabulous! So central with an overhwleming choice of cafes and restaurants as soon as you step out. The studio is right above a bakery so you wake up to the glorious smell of freshed baked pastries every morning. Got my tummy churning hard! Easy to find location and easy to access. No elevators though but just 1.5 flights of stairs so easy enough to manage. The exterior of the apartment building is very unassuming but t The studio is done up beautifully and is super super cozy! High recommended stay! Much better than a hotel! The space has so much character and is very good value!

Ariana is a great host and her flat is very comfortable and right in the middle of everything, a lot of cafés around, a few minutes to Kings Cross station, and you can walk to the Botanical Garden etc. Ariana welcomed me personally to make sure I have everything I need, I found that very attentive. I had a great stay and enjoyed it very much.

Great place next to Kings Cross Station and only a 20 minute walk to the Botanic Gardens and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for great views of The Sydney Opera House/Sydney Bridge.

I loved this place so much. A character space in a fantastic neighbourhood in inner Sydney. Everything is walkable, and tons of things to do, eat and drink. Tons of shopping nearby. I visited during Mardi Gras and it was really neat to be close to the action as Oxford Street is just a couple of blocks away. The space is clean and though compact, it was organized well and the nice breezes coming off the water keep it cool. It's a funky space that respects the heritage of the building and neighbourhood but still has the modern touches to make it feel special. It has sweeping views of the eastern suburbs. Angelique was an awesome host with great and frequent communication. Her instructions are crystal clear and she checks in to make sure you're settled. I would go out of my way to book this property again on my next visit to Sydney.

Nice European style apartment

Good location with a lot of nice restaurants and cafes around the corner and easy to go to the city center (you can even walk if you want to). Appartment is ideal for a shorttrip to Sydney.

We had a great stay in Darlinghurst! The appartment is wonderful and the rooftop pool with awesome views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House is a real bonus. Location is perfect with many nice bars and restaurants around. Sharon and Mal are very nice hosts and did everything to make our stay in Sydney perfect!

Such a great place. So many personal touches, tea, coffee, shower gel. Located in a great location such a great vibe. All the main sights in easy walking distance and opal cards left for you to use (just top up before you leave). Really a home from home

Perfect spot to explore all that Sydney has to offer, easy to get to all the major attractions, and surrounded by good bars and restaurants, and a supermarket across the road. We totally enjoyed our stay at Sharon and Mal’s wonderful apartment and can fully recommend it. The place is spotless clean, spacious, fully equipped and very cosy. The apartment is centrally located with a lot of recommendable restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance. Sharon and Mal were very helpful and made every wish possible, they even bought a new baby cot and chair for our baby daughter. Check in and check out was easy as both are very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. They even made a late check out possible for us since we had a lot of luggage. We can totally confirm the numerous positive reviews - the best experience with Airbnb we have made so far!

We spent a really nice week here. The apartment was first and foremost cozy and we had a great time there. There were shops and restaurants nearby that provided everything you could need. The Opera House and Harbor Bridge were about 20-30mins. in a walking distance. The bed was comfortably soft. The views, especially in the evening, from the roof terrace were spectacular! We didn't test the pool because the weather was still quite springy. A bit was the whitewashed walls; over the weekend there were some party sounds. All in all, we can warmly recommend Sharon and the Mall!

Quiet unit away from lifts, street noise, and foot traffic. Amenities (sauna/spa/pool/gym) are open 6am-11:45pm! Great location (Darling Harbour)- high walkability, close to light rail & parking fees are reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Kiah is very nice! The apartment is also good and convenient. You will take bus389 directly to the town hall by one stop!

It's only 10 minutes away from Darling Harbor, so it's a great place to go to Tum Barong. It was better because there is a swimming pool where children can swim every day. However, if you are staying at home for a long time, you should consider it because it is dark ~

Mias place in Bondi Junction, was a perfect stay for my husband and I. With a 15 minute walk to Bondi beach and icebergs we enjoyed soaking up the sun and coming home to a cozy apartment. Mia accommodated our late flight in and was there to greet us with the keys she is very welcoming and her place is the perfect Sydney stay if you want to be close to the beach or get a quick Uber into the city.

Fantastic location close to train station, as well as great cafes and bars. We basically walked everywhere we needed to go (except the airport). The studio is very quiet and comfortable. It has everything you need and breakfast was an added bonus. Would recommend!

I cannot believe this value for money! Loved all the ethically sourced products around the space even down to the toilet paper. The space is bigger than expected and hosts have each space set up to perfection eg. deep/shallow bowls, condiments in the kitchen, maps on the dining table, smart tv, two cushions per person, hand wash and lotion. The garage park is right up to the door which is great for packing/unpacking your things. It was SUCH great value for money. It was also nice to meet Jenna - she was really lovely and helpful!

This is probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. The apartment looks exactly the same as the pics show on the web. Bettina has generously offered many daily supplies which makes you feel much safer when you are staying outside. LOCATION couldn't be any better, with 7 days of our stay in this place we've literally gone all the must-go sightseeing within half an hour transportation. Besides all those great things, Bettina is a quick respond host and always talks nice and warm which I appreciated a lot （as someone who really hates to bother).

My partner and I loved staying at this place as we felt right at home. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. The apartment is really close to public transport and Darling Harbour. Great restaurants around the corner. Smack bang in the middle of where it’s all happening. Bettinas place is beyond clean and spotless. We had access to the gym, spa and pool and loved the added amenities. The building itself has a rich history and I definitely recommend reading the history of it! The apartment is actually part of a Hotel so it’s a really interesting apartment! Coles and IGA are down the road if you’re planning buy some groceries which is great. If you’re looking for a place that is beautiful, good priced and close to all the tourist attractions, book your stay at Bettina’s as it won’t disappoint. It’s close to EVERYTHING and easy to access if you’re from another city like my partner and I are. For overseas and interstate people: I would recommend taking an Uber from the airport to the apartment as it would be cheaper and quicker than taking public transport! Fantastic location!! We took a tour with Paul and really enjoyed it. Bettina and Paul are wonderful people who go out of their way for you. The apartment was spotless and they allowed is to check in early.

The flat was perfectly located for my ICC conference (a super easy 3-5 mins walk away) and all the delights of Darling Harbour. The flat is also equipped with everything we needed for our stay to be comfortable.

Bettina’s place was perfect location right next to Darling harbour and easy access to get public transport around the city. Bettina also kept in touch half way through our stay making sure everything was ok, really thoughtful. The apartment has all the amenities you could ask for. This is a wonderful option for me. I’ve enjoyed myself so much as it’s relaxed away from Big establishments, near great food (Apollo, Cho-Cho San, Zinc) and a Metro x the street 😁. The staff are welcoming, warm, friendly and efficient! I recommend to any business person wanting an alternate to a “regular” hotel. Or anyone looking for a great spot to stay - Potts Point is not out of the way & allows one to access most anywhere.you would like in and around Sydney.... even the BIGBUS (Hop-On / Hop-Off Bus) is easily accessible with a stop close by at Kings Cross area! Book it, you’ll be happy you did!!

Perfect location in Potts point. Hotel service with 24h reception, all friendly and helpful. Clean room with a view on the CBD. Only down side is the wifi that didn't work really well in the room, but we didn't need it more than a few times.

Just book it! You won't regret it. Kylie is such a lovely and helpful host, she was able to accommodate my flight landing early in the morning. All the instructions to get into her place were clear and easy to follow. It's a great base for exploring Sydney. The apartment really felt like a home away from home.

Great Host! Very thoughtful and considerate. Its no wonder Kylie is a Super Host. Location is walkable to Sydney Opera House for moderately athletic & adventurous folks. Cab ride from the airport took about 45 min and cost AUS$101.

Kylie's place was great! Clean place, good amenities (toiletries, umbrellas, laundry detergent) and lots of delicious restaurants nearby. Metro station is nearby, city center is a 30 minute walk which was our preference to get to the center.

Going to Sydney? Want to be in a location close to everything but private and quiet. Stay here. This is a beautiful little unit. It is clean and close to everything you will need. Some great coffee and bars around, friendly people and great location. I loved it.

This places has everything! The location is perfect very easy to move around. The view to the garden is gorgeous to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or wine. John was also very helpful and with constant communication. We had a great weekend and would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing weekend.

The connection to the ferry and the buses from Darling Street is very good. Perfect quiet place to stay for a few days in Sydney. After the long flight, we only arrived late in the evening and were thrilled by the whirlpool and cold beer that awaited us at John & Julie.

Comfortable, clean and private accommodation with stunning outdoor space and just a 2 minute walk to the Balmain ferry. Lots of shops, restaurants and buses on nearby Darling Street. John and Julie were very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

John & Jill's place is amazing and has the wow factor. It is in a superb location with a tranquil pretty garden, close to ferry to Sydney and harbour and fabulous amenities. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen area has tea, coffee and milk for a cuppa on arrival, plus wine and beer to start the holiday! The bathroom has a shower and jacuzzi bath and lovely towels. The washing machine and dryer were a real asset having been traveling for 2 weeks. John and Julie are delightful hosts, really helpful and intuitive to their guests needs. We cannot recommend this fabulous place enough.

A very comfortable, big unit in a quiet location. Very close access to the ferry and only a short walk to the Main Street of Balmain. Hosts were welcoming and helpful!

John and Julie made us feel welcome and were very friendly. It’s a great location and I would highly recommend it for convenience to restaurants bars and the ferry so close. Lovely courtyard area to eat out and the accommodation was clean and all the little touches were very appreciated.

John is a great host who provided us with useful tips about transport options. He was very welcoming and responsive during the check-in and the stay. The place is very cosy for a couple and great location with ferry and bus options. We went there for NYE and had no trouble returning from the fireworks.

A truly excellent Airbnb experience. Margie is a warm and welcoming host, she and I enjoyed wonderful chats and she ensured I felt very much at home. She even moved her car into the street so that mine could be secure in the driveway. The home is quiet, the bed is superb and I felt very welcome. Margie gave me a superb relaxed meal which I shared with her and Wayne. Ideal!

This Airbnb is very well situated, close to the bus stop that takes you everywhere. The area is quiet and enjoyable to walk around. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts with great coffee. This airbnb was fantastic. I really wish I booked multiple nights. Such a lovely couple, they made me feel so welcome in their home. I instantly felt like I was a friend of theirs. They made me tea, let me watch the tennis with them, let me check out late and even made me a home made breakfast. The house itself is in a wonderful location and super convenient for getting around, also extremely clean and very comfortable bedroom. This is easily the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. Perfect location, clean house and welcoming. You may think it is far from the hotel, but it is surprisingly close to the city. Due to the nature of detached houses, cockroaches can come out if you eat food on the second floor. But the house isn't dirty and it's a lot of Sydney Airbnb.

Communication was excellent, check in was seamless. The apartment was very stylish and it’s condition was immaculate. I dealt with Phillip who was a friendly and excellent host. It had been a few years since I’d stayed in this area of Sydney and it was interesting to hear from Phillip about how much the area had changed. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were comprehensive and uniformly top quality. Oh, and the location is only a short, say about 3 minutes, walk from Kings Cross Station. I do hope this AirBNB is available next time I’m in Sydney.

Quant and quiet condo in the heart of Potts Point. Easy access to anywhere in the King Cross. The host was very helpful and accommodating. Small studio with lofted bed and lots of hidden storage to utilize. Would stay again!

The place is super cute with eclectic decor! The bathroom is stylish and clean. Phillip checked us in, and he gave us great tips about the area! He also made sure to let us know how to access all the amenities including laundry and a Bluetooth speaker. The place was walking distance to the Circular Quay, we were able to get there in no time! The rooftop had a beautiful view of downtown!

This was an amazing stay. Phillip gave us a number of good local tips and a short history lesson. Which we loved! James was always very quick to respond and was super friendly and helpful. Our favourite part was the awesome view from the spacious balcony, where you can see the opera house, harbour bridge and just watch the world go by. Easy and simple check in and great communication.

The Scott's place was incredible. The area, the views from the balcony or the studio, it was close to everything. We walked to all the beautiful places we wanted to see. The place was nice and clean, and Scott was very welcoming and accomodating. We would love to stay there again, next time we are in Sydney

Studio apartment which is clean and comfortable. Situated in a great area for transport, cafes, restaurants, takeaways and shops. Easy walk to Sydney main attractions, or easy to get around by public transport. An added attraction is the balcony which is comfortable to sit outside on, and amazing views over the harbour, top of the opera house and the bridge. All Scott’s recommendations were spot on.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here before our cruise - can’t fault it! Apartment was immaculate, communication and check in instructions were clear and straightforward, and the place had everything we needed. Excellent amenities within the apartment and an incredible location which for us was an easy walk to the cruise terminal upon check out. Will definitely consider staying here again when I’m next back in Sydney!

This place was in a fantastic location - restaurants and supermarket within 150m. Beautiful walk/run just out the door and easy access to CBD. Everything you could ever want for a Sydney stay was in the room. Towels, sunscreen, guides etc. Only potential downside is that is may be noisy on a Friday or Saturdaynight as the room is above the street. No issue for me as it was Tuesday when I stayed. Sophie was terrific to communicate with and had music and air con for my arrival. Would definitely recommend as great inner Sydney experience for those who like great food and vibe.

Such the perfect place to stay around King's Cross/Darlinghurst. Super easy check in and out with a very attentive and nice host. The apartment was super comfortable, had everything I could possibly need without having to ask, great bathroom, A/C, it walking distance everywhere. Really loved it.

An amazing gem in the heart of Potts Point! A stunning Art Deco building, opens into a fantastically smart and stylish use of space with an amazing host! Everything you could want is at hand, and extra little touches make this a wonderful property. The location is perfect for some of the best bars and restaurants Potts point has to offer, and transport is only a 5 mins walk though leafy streets. Sophie was an brilliant host; super quick and thoughtful in all responses! Thank you!

Cool place near downtown Sydney.

Very artfully decorated spot, super conveniently located, with literally more amenities than even my own home. Sophie was very very communicative, and left thoughtful touches like music, chocolates and candles to welcome us. Fridge was fully stocked, plenty of snacks, breakfast and anything under the sun you could possibly need! The bed was very comfortable. We stayed a night only but I would stay longer if I could :)

Sophie’s place is awesomely located and really well set out. Felt very at home and comfortable in close proximity to the best of Potts Point and transport options.

Very simple room, but a very large space, quiet, clean & excellent location. Ea level has a ‘common room’ with showers, bathrooms, kitchen and lounge/TV area. This meant I wasn’t sharing amenities with the entire building which was great. Very happy. Would stay again !

Close to city and shops. Caught shuttle to from airport with a little patience. Room fronts on to kitchen which if busy,could make it harder to sleep. Ensure you get after hours entry security code to building if you're going to arrive late.

Beverly and Michael care about their guests having a great stay and experiencing what their wonderful city offers. They were very helpful as we planned our days in Sydney. The apartment is in a good location for accessing public transport and the city center. It is clean, comfortable, and has a fantastic private bathroom.

Was a great location, ha dy to airport and to leave my car whilst on trip was perfect.

The hotel is clean. My grandmother was also good and I didn't care much what we did. The location is right in front of the station, and I rented a car for easy parking and good access.

Exactly what you need after a long journey. Conveniently located close to the airport and easily reachable by train, bus or taxi and a very simple check-in-procedure. Beverley and Michael are great hosts. They let you have your privacy whenever you want to or you can have a chat on the balcony which offers some fantastic city views if the weather plays along. Having lived in Sydney for quite a while, they can provide you with a lot of tips. Place was perfectly clean as well. A small breakfast with some cereals is offered or you could even cook your own meal as the fridge is stacked up well. Really enjoyed my first days in Sydney here, very much appreciated your hospitality, thanks again!

Very nice room in a convenient part of town

There’s a reason why these guys are super hosts! Very detailed and easy communication regarding check in, spotless room and bathroom with all the amenities you’d need. Slept like a baby the one night that i spent there. Michael was kind enough to help me with my heavy bags too!

Ollie was a great host. Answered all questions very promptly and offered plenty of advice of what to see.

It was just perfect from the beginning to the end. My best Airbnb experience so far ! Ollie is so kind lots of gifts and intentions: eggs and bread, adresses, laundry soap ... towels for the shower and the pool and a lovely welcome letter ! On top of that great location, amazing rooftop pool and bbq with the view on the opera and bridge ! Just gooooo there !

We are former Airbnb hosts so we know how things should go in an Airbnb stay. We had a great stay with Ollie. This is a host who goes above and beyond to help his guests in any way possible. The apartment is well equipped with everything you can possibly need for your stay. There was also food in the fridge, coffee, eggs and cereal. The shower is great in the apartment with nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bed was comfortable. WiFi worked well. Anytime we had a question or needed help, Ollie made himself available. The location is very good and in a quaint neighborhood with stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this Airbnb. You won’t find a better host than Ollie.

Very easy to find (we took a Bolt and were at the place within 15 minutes from the airport), communication was perfect and the room was absolutely tidy. The bed was so comfortable, we wished we could have stayed longer. Totally recommended!

Amazing place, clean and comfortable, everything is close, easy access.

Communication with Lin was very fluid; she was also very accommodating. The apartment is well located, close to public transport. The room is clean and neat. Small flat: the air conditioning is centralized, so if we do not agree on the temperature with our neighbors, it can be annoying.

Highly recommend for someone looking for an overnight stay, location is amazing, view over broadway is stunning and plenty around.

Really accommodating, took our arrival time into account and made sure we could leave our luggage before we had to check in. Space was lovely and quiet with the facilities you expect given the price. Great stay!

Excellent apartment with amazing amenities in a great location

Great place. Dale had snacks, fruit, milk and cereal for us! He also provided phones for calls as well for using google maps to find your way around. Short walk to the Hop on Hop off bus which takes you to all the best spots in Sydney. We enjoyed the Vietnamese restaurant around the corner.

A total of four homestays were experienced during this trip to Sydney and Melbourne. Dale's house is the first stop and the one that I am most satisfied with! Very warm, clean, good location, there are many restaurants downstairs, very close to the University of Sydney, you can go for a walk after meals, kitchen supplies are complete, tired outside, you can go back to the homestay Dale's drinks and snack packs we prepared were really great, enough for our four-day breakfast, and he also paid us the fare from the airport to the homestay. All in all, highly recommended!

Dale is an amazing host. He's extremely generous and a great communicator. We loved the apartment, had everything we could need and more. If the apartment is available, book it! You won't find a better deal.

Charlene’s place is so centrally located!! Getting around was incredibly easy. Probably a 5 minute walk to the train station. Redfern is a pretty central hub, so you can get all over Sydney from that one station!!! She’s a great host, as well! Super laid back. It’s an incredible value! Would definitely recommend!

Mirko’s spot is a short walk from the most beautiful places in Sydney, and meters from the new tram line. Our family of four was very comfortable in the apartment, and loved the rooftop pool.
