  • What a wonderfully charming wood cabin. Perfect for a romantic ski getaway. You're in the middle of the forest with trees all around and super close to Squaw and Alpine Meadows. We had everything we needed and the hosts were so kind to leave us food for breakfast and chocolate on our pillows. Very nice touches!

  • The Black Bears Den was an amazing place to stay for our snow weekend away! It was extremely cozy, perfect for two people; it felt like our own mini cabin get-away. Craig provided us with all the necessities plus more. The location was perfect, we were within 5-15 min driving range for all of our actives on West/North shore. We would defiantly come back to the Black Bears Den!

    Devin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • Amazing central location and beautiful space.

  • Really great location walking distance to the lake, hiking trails, and local shops and restaurants. The pizza place downstairs is as delicious as it smells too (and closes at 10, so its not loud super late). Very stylish space with very comfortable beds and a sofa.

    Nathan2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a very nice location you can almost have anything you need in 20 mins drive. The interiors is very beautiful, however, I do think there are some problem with the furniture such as the glass door in the shower it is very hard to open or close. But regarding those everything else is great!

Small bedroom with private bath in a very cool and funky modified A frame. House is in a great, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Tahoe City and a 10 minute drive to Homewood or Squaw. Trails to Page Meadows and Flintstones are right at the end of our street and make for a great loop back to the front door. House is shared between myself and dog Blue, and two other bedrooms for guests if occupied. Quiet, clean and respectful atmosphere in a great location waiting for you!
The atmosphere of this place has an inviting and relaxed vibe right when you enter the front door. I usually have the fire place going and some mellow tunes rolling in the corner which both can be adjusted to your needs. Sunsets out back are the best around and go great with a cold one. I like people to feel right at home here and not be shy, full interaction with the place is encouraged!
Easy walk to Bridge Tender and downtown Tahoe City, cheap two minute Uber if its cold. My location is pretty centralized to all the mountains in the basin including south lake resorts which our forty minutes down 89. Emerald Bay is about twenty-five minutes south down West Shore Drive.
  • Great place, Billy is a great guy.

    Francisco2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Billy and Blue were great hosts! Really friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and check-out. Bathroom is separate, but immediately adjacent to the bedroom so no real issues there. Place was clean and functional. Plenty of parking and great location!

    Amy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Billy's home is a great place to stay! We stayed for 4 days 3 nights during the winter season to snowboard @ Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Location is awesome. We walked about 10-15 minutes to the Tahoe City Transit Center where you can catch the shuttle or bus to take you to the Squaw or Alpine Meadows. For the place, You get a private room, right next to a bathroom. Living room and kitchen is shared space. If you dont mind that at all, and want lowest possible nightly stay in Tahoe City, I highly recommend! He maintains the home really well. The bedroom was clean, bathroom very clean, and living space and kitchen clean as well. We didn't feel uncomfortable at all. You have access to kitchen, he's dedicated some pantry space in kitchen for the guests, and dedicated room in refrigerator for guests. Further, his dog Blue is friendly and playful! He's very chill as well. I highly recommend!

    Michael2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my Stay at Billy's place. The kitchen access was convenient for cooking and the place was kept up pretty good. Great access to West Tahoe ski resorts and a few great grocery stores nearby.

    Michael2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great value, fun and funky. I loved being able to do light cooking and have fridge space. Beautiful view out the back windows of the forest. Especially when it snowed! I’ll be back! (Really...in March)

    Ruth2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Billy’s place was excellent and we had a happy stay. Super nice people and Blue was a legend dog. Teenager friendly which I was really thankful for. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Billy and Blue for having us!

    Juliet2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sweet spot right in Tahoe city! Close to the bus station that will take you anywhere you want to go. Billy and Blue were awesome to us during our stay!

We are on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, about 3.5 miles from downtown Tahoe City and close to Homewood, Alpine and Squaw. We're in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a national forest. Cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and hiking are available right outside the door. Our place is good for 1-2 people. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The rate includes the 10% TOT.

  • Beautiful cabin in a fantastic location.

    Tom2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s place was perfect for our weekend skiing Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, especially Alpine as you can drive to Sherwood lift and avoid the crowded parking lot. The place was incredibly cute and worked great for two couples. We made breakfast and a couple dinners in the kitchen which has all of the amenities and then enjoyed watching tv and playing games next to the fireplace. Communication with Paul was very easy and straightforward.

    Jesse2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Paul’s cabin for our first ever visit to Lake Tahoe. We visited to check out the local Epic ski resorts (Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Northstar). All are within reasonable driving time and we enjoyed our time at each. Further, the area has spectacular scenery and Tahoe City is delightful. The cabin is very nicely updated and well appointed. It was spotless as well, we’d happily return again in the future.

  • Paul’s place has warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Some of the amazing features this home has is a remote controlled fires place and heated floors, so it makes your stay that much more cozy and comfortable. 10/10 recommend. Would stay again!

    Danny2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as pictured and described! This was the perfect size for two couples or a family of four. It’s certainly cozy and simple, but fully equipped and sparkling clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the bedrooms were bigger than I was expecting, and the heated floors were awesome! We hope to come back again in the future!

  • Great location, beautiful kitchen and nicely decorated. Our family had a really nice time. Close to Homewood and Alpine, with Sunnyside right down the street. Would love to come back in the summer!

  • This place is awesome! Perfect location to the lake and anything you could need for your trip (we loved the WestShore Market nearby for coffee and lunch). Very modern look and furniture and very spacious and user friendly kitchen for you and all your guests ..this place is huge!!

    Justin2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a group of 4 who came to ski. The house is really great with everything you need to cook, hang out and enjoy a vacation. Check in was super easy and Robert was very responsive. Highly recommend!

  • Great cabin, great location and great host! Thank you Robert! We had a wonderful time.

    Renaud2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Robert’s place is thoughtfully designed, stylish, comfortable and has everything you need. Our 2 small families found it very comfortable and convenient for our stay. The beds were great with plenty of extra blankets. It’s newly remodeled and located in the best area of north Lake Tahoe. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer! Hoping to go back in the future!

    Bianca2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly and accommodating! Great location and very cute cabin.

    Michelle2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This property is fantastic! Great location, plenty of space, and super clean. I took a Roku stick to access my Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. since there is no local cable access- Internet works good. (There are an abundance of DVDs to substitute) Appliances work well as we cooked a lot, but there is no microwave. Having the Snow Plow service clear the driveway in the morning was a HUGE plus! You can’t go wrong with this place.

  • There are actually a few amenities here that arent readily advertised on airBnB. You can get discounted lift tickets at the front desk. I paid the window price everyday and only found out upon check out. You can get discounted equipment rentals at the inn shop if you tell them where you're staying. I walked from my room with my board every day. Only to realize on the last day that there is a complimentary shuttle that will take you to the village and back every day. I was exhausted walking back each day. They have a complimentary assortment of croissants, orange juice, and breakfast snacks in the morning in the lobby. Didnt know until the last day. Overall this was a nice spot with a nice set of hot tubs and a sauna to relax your sore muscles in the evenings. My room was very clean, but a little dated. Though this appears to be the cheapest option this close to the lifts at squaw valley.

    Keifer2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay with easy access to Squaw Valley for skiing or going to the village. Will definitely return!

    Dante2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very hospitable. The room is cozy, clean, and well equipped. Shuttle to the ski village ran frequently and driver was friendly, but its a short 8 minute walk if you don't want to wait. I would definitely stay at Olympic Village again.

Looking for a cabin with character? Welcome to Pine Cone! Ours is an awesome A-frame with a wood-burning fireplace, and original retro décor – cozy and funky, with all the modern comforts of home. Close to HOA beach, Firesign, and Sunnyside resort.
In the heart of Sunnyside, Pine Cone is a short walk to our private HOA beach and the best brunch at the lake. Leave your city-slicker granite counter tops at home – we have what’s important: our Saturday Supper dessert cabinet contains an ice cream maker, sundae bar, fondue, and of course s’mores. (And s’meeces, the Pine Cone S’mores 3.0) Plus of course everything else you need to make yourself at home: fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc. etc. The basics & bonuses: 3 bedrooms sleep 15 people. Dogs welcome! Wifi, printer, and standard office supplies included for you workerbees. Shampoo, toothpaste, hair dryer, iron and basics provided (though ironing board and such fancy big-city accoutrements are not – this is Tahoe!). Deck, BBQ, beach towels, board games, DVD player, dozens of DVDs, puzzles, cookbook collection for your Saturday supper planning, beach books, and more. The beach: we'll give you a key to the private homeowners association beach, featuring volleyball, basketball, bocce ball, and horseshoe courts; green grass and shady benches; clean bathrooms (very important); weddings to crash all weekend long; and Tahoe’s finest skipping stones. (Forget how to skip rocks? You ARE in need of a getaway!) The neighborhood: Sunnyside is hot for good reason! A few blocks from the docks, we’re the one spot on this side of the lake that’s walking distance from not one but two rockin’ brunch places. While removed from the mean streets (ha!) of Tahoe City, when you forget something at the grocery store we’re only 6 minutes down the road. South Lake has curling and all (message Colleen if you want to try), but it's Vegas compared to this: North Tahoe is casino-free pockets of quiet cabins from another era, with more dogs and kids littering the middle of the street than cars. Oh, and it’s an easy 3.5hrs from SF, assuming you miss traffic and drive like we do. If you drive an electric vehicle, you can plug in at our cabin too. Let us know and we'll give you the details. The activities: you really plan more than brunch, beach & wine? Ambitious. Okay, fine: we’ve got the hook-up for that too. We’ll tell you where to rent a boat, find the good hikes, and hop the local watering holes. Look us up on the map and you’ll see: we’re close to biking, river rafting, sledding, skiing, and snowboarding (Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Homewood et al.), the Tahoe Rim Trail, and all that outdoorsy goodness. Plus when you get here, you’ll find our binder of local tips that could only be amassed by a family that’s been here 28 years. Please note a 1-week minimum is required for Christmas and New Year's. If you'd like to visit, please ensure you have a profile with picture and tell us a bit about the group that's coming and what you're hoping for in your stay.
  • Janet’s place is the perfect place to stay! We were 15 people and we had so much room. Her home is super clean, cozy, and everything is labeled. Also beautiful quiet neighborhood. My family and I were so impressed with how much there is to do around this neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

    Wendy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z

    Sieglinde2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a great cabin this is! My family of six had a perfect weekend in Tahoe. Everything we wanted to be close to was within 10 min or less. The open layout of the downstairs area made it easy to visit, cook, and enjoy the wood fireplace. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We can’t wait to go back to Tahoe City and stay at Janet’s place!

    Bohdan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was absolutely awesome, cozy, and just what we were looking for. We came up for a two day ski trip to Homewood and Squaw Valley and this was the PERFECT spot between the two. Everything was easy, Janet is a great host who gives good instructions, and we’d absolutely stay again. Thank you!

    Michael2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place turned out to be better than expected. It’s super convenient, in a quiet neighborhood. The layout is awesome, its very comfortable and everything is pretty well stocked. Janet was very thorough in all the descriptions and the rental process and left nothing to surprise. The value is outstanding. We have been to (far) more expensive places and now it’s hard to see the point of paying more. This place is a gem. Book it now.

Although small, the home was well-stocked, well-heated, and well-situated close by Squaw and Alpine, a mere 15-20 minute drive away. Being 5 min from a SaveMart, Safeway, CVS and Chevron/Shell meant it was also super convenient. We will be back!

    Myles2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the adventure hub! The space itself was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed to cook meals, relax, and get a good nights rest. The location was also wonderful. We walked into town daily to stroll along the lake trail and check out local restaurants and shops. We also walked on the trails behind the property and enjoyed so quickly being in the forest. We skiied at Alpine and Squaw, which were just short 15 minute drives away. Hope to return again. Thank you!

  • Great location! Kana was very communicative. The people here were very hospitable. All went smoothly. Short walk to bottom of lifts. We snowboarded almost every day. Good price. Nice rec room. Nice Jacuzzis. We used the free snow shoes they lent out on Wednesdays and we went on a cool snow shoe adventure that the guy at the desk told us about. My husband went on a cool hike just behind the inn. We loved it!

  • Kerri and Shelton's place was super cute and perfect for a short Tahoe getaway. They made check-in super easy and were quick to respond to messages. The apartment was fully stocked (super excited about the non-stick pans) and super clean. It was in a great location and I would stay here again!

Get comfortable in a renovated pet friendly Tahoe cabin with a view of the lake and a private home owners beach. Hiking or mountain biking through Paige Meadows, and in the winter time you are 10 minutes from Homewood, 20 minutes from Squaw or Alpine Meadows.
This is an upgraded A-frame, just 2 miles south of Tahoe City. You'll be very comfortable within the context of a traditional Tahoe cabin. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs (twin bed with a trundle), and 2 upstairs (one King, one Queen). The front deck has a picnic table with chairs and a gas BBQ. For hiking or mountain biking, you can start from the house and explore Paige Meadows. Or, you can park at the Home Owners beach and take the bike path South to Tahoma, or North to Tahoe City and continue on to Squaw Valley beside the Truckee River. There is a second house on the property that can also be rented from Airbnb (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/5836408). The difference between the two houses are minor: 1. While the layout of both houses is identical, this house is about 1500 sq ft, or about 332 square feet smaller than the front house. 2. This house sits partially behind the front house, and while the views of Lake Tahoe are exceptional they are slightly obstructed compared to the front house.
The house is in a neighborhood which is 500 feet above Lake Tahoe, which not only offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe but is also quiet and safely removed from the day to day tourist traffic as it is near the end of a dead end road. The house sits back from the road on a very large lot with 4 standalone houses.

  • This is our second time staying with Mark. His place is perfectly located for either resort skiing or hitting some backcountry slops (which was ideal for our party that was split between the two). Close to Tahoe City, clean, and just comfortable place to stay. Thanks Mark for being a great host!

    Nathaniel2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin, great location, awesome views and very comfortable. Can't wait to come back in summer and winter again! Mark was also a great host and very quick to respond to all of our questions. Highly recommend!

  • A clean new place located in a quiet area with an (almost) unobstructed view of the lake. A few minutes ride from the main concessions but, if needed, with a kitchen that has all the amenities to support any cooking needs. The host is responsive, flexible and provides accurate instructions for a seamless check-in/check-out experience. We very much liked this place that we already booked a trip to come back in a few months.

  • Wow. We stayed here for a two day ski trip; truly a five star service experience. The room itself was great - nothing particularly fancy, but everything one might need - clean, and had a nice little balcony. Hot tub was awesome. The real wringer was the location. This place is about 100 feet from the start of the snow. Wake up at 8:30 and on the mountain at 9:00 (post coffee and breakfast) The staff made life exceptionally easy, each contact point was accommodating, from allowing us access to the club house to change and park in the garage early in the morning on the day we arrived, to great clarity and just overall friendliness, attention and support for our needs - all clear signs of a well managed organization. Will stay again.

    Amy2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • A gem! The location is amazing for enjoying skiing, the lake, and the town. The amenities were top notch. Probably one of the cleanest places we've stayed. The decor was charming, and the bathroom and tea/coffee service were nice touches. This is a "visit again" place because it hit the mark for value, cleanliness and "specialness."

very secluded home with lake view. endless hiking/biking trails in summer and cross country ski/snow mobile in winter right out the door. Too many ski resorts within minutes to mention. We have one very friendly dog. Use of w/d and kitchen.
  • The place is comfortable and clean! The patio is the best spot to watch sunrise and sunset. You don’t even have to go out to the patio. You can watch inside the bedroom. The kettle in the room, wine opener, reading materials, dvds, and directTV are a plus. The bed and linen are very comfortable. The restroom is super clean and it has extra additional amenities. The water pressure is very good and the hot water heats up fast. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has industrial grade equipments. We were also able to wash and dry our snow clothes without a problem. Marty and her family were genuinely nice people, accommodating, and they respected our privacy. They are very generous in opening their home to Airbnb.

    Kristina2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

The bathroom and shower was very spacious and inviting as well. I slept like a baby on the comfy bed. I would absolutely stay here again!

    Katrina2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Marty’s room was the perfect place to rest up before a day on the slopes. The room has great views of the lake and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the clean, spacious bathroom and a pot of coffee waiting in the morning was an added bonus. Marty was a friendly host.

  • This home was a wonderful place to stay! The kitchen is fully stocked with dining ware, pots, pans, etc! My friends and I had a lovely time staying here - the beach was a very short walk away and we got to experience the most beautiful sunset and we got to look at the starry sky. The only thing you should know is that pulling out of the house is a bit tricky as it's on a busy road, but we didn't really have any troubles there! I would definitely love to come back again!

    Wendy2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really conveniently located, and great for a ski trip, as it's very near Squaw and Homewood. It was clean, had great sleeping spaces, and was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The kitchen/dining/living room spaces were all great, and very roomy. There was a binder with a lot of local recommendations, which were useful. Two things of note: the wifi didn't work, and when we messaged the hosts, they responded quickly, but were unable to help us fix it. Additionally, they requested a copy of my ID sent directly to them upon booking even though I'm already verified by Airbnb (and they sent a message saying "You agreed to send your ID" which I had not - this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the listing).

  • This cabin is cozy and conveniently located to all the great destinations surrounding the lake, from restaurants to alpine hikes. If you’re staying during the wintertime, be prepared to take full advantage of the space heaters provided, as the place doesn’t have the greatest insulation. This was definitely minor, but something to consider if you’re accustomed to Bay Area temps like me. :) All in all, a great cabin! Can’t wait to visit again soon.

    Dani2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

    Alyssa2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Brenda's cabin. The location is fantastic, being just a few minutes from Tahoe City, an amazing market and deli within walking distance, and with Squaw/Alpine in about 10 minutes. The hot tub and fireplace were perfect touches for a winter stay. My notes to future visitors would be 1) there aren't curtains or blinds in the bedroom, so if you're light sensitive bring something you can drape over the windows, 2) the stairs are very creaky so be careful with heavy luggage, 3) there is wifi, but barely enough for loading websites and 4) the place is fairly drafty so if it's cold you will need to wear warm clothes inside. Knowing that, I would still stay again, just come prepared.

    Patrick2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • An AMAZING cozy, clean, comfortable mountain cabin. Great location, great property. And a lovely jacuzzi on the back patio.

    Colton2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great. Only 7 minutes from Homewood Mountain Resort, which is the main reason I came to Tahoe. The hot tub was a great feature, and I loved having the washer&dryer to dry off swimsuits and wet snowboarding gear. We cooked dinner in the kitchen each night. Only thing missing was an HDMI cord for the TV. Would’ve been nice to hook up my laptop to the TV to watch Netflix or something but that didn’t really lessen our experience here.

    Kayla2020-01-08T00:00:00Z

  • Great location and beautiful view out the back deck! A perfect house for a relaxing girls weekend! You can walk to Tahoe City and Commons Beach in 10 minutes... the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed, including dishwasher soap, paper towels, and basic spices.

Comfy master bedroom with private bath in a very cool and funky modified A frame.
I like people to feel right at home here and not be shy, full interaction with the place is expected!
  • We had an amazing stay at Billy's place. The environment was very relaxed and enjoyable. Billy was friendly, welcoming, provided some great suggestions about local restaurants , and was very knowledgeable about the local ski resorts. His dog, Blue, was very well behaved.

  • Good value. Good location. Good people.

    Nicole2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Super close to Alpine Meadows/Squaw. Easy check-in process, especially considering we arrived fairly late. Place was spotless. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

    Jolene2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for 3 nights, Billy communicated the check in process well even though he wasn't available. The place is clean, and Billy was kind enough to allocate refrigerator and shelf space should we need it. The bed was comfortable, and the location a short drive from Squaw/Alpine! Will definitely consider staying here if we return!

    Anirudh2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and fun place to stay and relax while hitting the slopes. Billy, and his pup, Blue, are so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating.

    Andrea2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a super comfortable room in an amazing cabin and Billy is an excellent host!

    Nicholas2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and light filled spot close to the Tahoe Rim Trail and downtown Tahoe City. Billy and Blue were very hospitable and helped make sure we had everything we needed, but my friend and I also had a sense of privacy in spite of the shared space. Would definitely recommend for a brief stay as a base for getting outside!

Classic Tahoe charm in the heart of it all.. Walk to the beach and renowned Sunnyside Resort. Tahoe City downtown 1 mile away..
One of the most charming cabins is available for your Lake Tahoe vacation. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, laundry and gear room. Washer and dryer. One mile from downtown Tahoe City. Walk to world famous Sunnyside Lodge.. Very central location for all your adventures. Close to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood ski resorts. Enjoy our private beach access 5 min walk away..
  • Super convenient location; really easy access to the ski mountains, which was our priority! The living space was smaller than appears in photos, but didn't deter from our experience since we spent most of our time on the mountains or in the hot tub! The wood stove was great and made the house super cozy. Would stay again given location and hospitality!

    Cindy2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot near the lake and ski mountains. Great “cabin feel” and well equipped for group of 5-7.

  • Lovely, stylish cabin space with modern amenities. Ample cookware for a full cooking kitchen (though bring the essential ingredients you need). Comfortably fit our group, and even the bunk beds were comfy. The hot tub was working and ready when we arrived and we enjoyed it. Keep in mind there is no garage here so if it snows you may have to clean your car! Only improvements we would suggest are more bright lighting inside the house (it's quite dark at night) + finishing the wooden tables (as they are easy to stain).

  • This is a beautiful house and a great homebase for a trip to Tahoe. The location is fantastic and the space was even better than expected. The layout’s great, it’s well equipped and we had a super easy check in. Enjoyed every minute of our trip. and thankful we were able to stay here. We’ll return again!

  • This place was outstanding. We were nervous booking with a company (first time!) but they made the process seamless from start to finish. The team was communicative and friendly. The cabin itself was beautiful, with stellar amenities - the kitchen was more complete than my own at home!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to come back to this location again.

    Lana2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is amazing, this was our second stay - and we will be back for sure.

    Ben2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and quiet cabin with great character and decorative touches. Ideal if you want a log cabin feel with modern amenities and close to amenities. Good location - the Tahoe Rim Trail crosses the street a couple of miles up the hill and it's a short walk down to the edge of the lake. There's a small grocery and delicatessen nearby for last minute items with a good selection. Bedding and linens all good quality. Two self contained bedrooms down stairs (one with 4 decent sized bunks) and a loft style bedroom upstairs that looks over the living area. Good supply of kitchen and tableware. Efficient Nest heating thermostat controls. Clearly well cared for.

    Ken2019-11-03T00:00:00Z

  • The house is stunning! Great views and fantastic common spaces to enjoy some time with friends and family. The location is perfect! Very close to supermarkets, stores and restaurants, it has views to the lake and is 10 minutes driving to the slopes. There was one shower out of order and the oven did not work properly but the rest of amenities were great so we did not really mind. Absolutely recommend, this place is a gem!

The cabin had EVERYTHING you could want to make food, coffee, etc. The checkin/checkout checklist was very detailed and user friendly. The house felt very comfortable and loved waking up to the view of the lake, it was beautiful! The double shower heads were my favorite!

  • This home is stunning, spacious, comfortable, just like the pictures on the ad. We had a group of 8 and were able to have time together and privacy, have fun meals together before hitting the slopes and at night. Its also very close to great restaurants and the water. The view is breathtaking...highly recommend!!! We would go back again!

  • Pictures do not do justice to this magical place. The house is simply amazing, with great views of the lake. The host is incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Our trip was bookended by two snow storms, and the host was patient and helpful to make sure we were able to enjoy our stay and make it back safe. I would highly recommend this place!

  • Red Wolf is a small lodge located near Safeway and a few great restaurants, like Lanza's and Spindelshanks, that have terrific happy hours. We stayed in a very large one bedroom, which we hadn't expected, with recently upgraded furniture and applicances in the kitchen. The gas fireplace, on a timer, heated the main room quickly. The lodge offers daily activities, but we came to Tahoe to ski and didn't partake in snow shoeing or knitting. What we love the most about Red Wolf is the hot tub and pool which are located above a private beach with an incredible view of Lake Tahoe.

    Tristan2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy & clean! Kind of the best of being in a little cabin and a hotel at the same time. It’s always hard to find Tahoe houses with decent kitchens when you aren’t with a huge group. We will definitely come back!!

    Kelly2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Location is great, close to ski resorts and right on the lake. Very clean room!

    Eddie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Loved it so much! The pictures don’t do it justice, but the lodge was wonderful and right on the water. I didn’t realize there was a jacuzzi and pool until we arrived and the staff was just the sweetest. Loved it.

    Anja2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • It's at a very good location, close to Safeway, and Northstar Ski Resort which we are going. This 1-br has a well equipped small kitchen where you can cook, and the pull-out sofa bed is convenient as well, although not super comfortable. Nothing to complain at all, except that all furnitures are super heavy and a bit hard to grab and move (say, to make the sofa bed). Will recommend!

    Tian2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great! Your close to a grocery store so you can get anything you need within a few minutes while also being able to access the fun activities in Tahoe easily! Also great that you have a full kitchen to be able to make your own food and do whatever you need all in your Airbnb

    Aubrey2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so adorable! Its cute and rustic and very clean. The staff are amazing and were so accommodating. They even have activites planned each day which was such a cute touch. The hot tub overlooks the lake and was hot and beautiful. I feel like we cant complain when everything else way exceeded our expectations, but in the spirit of an honest review, both the queen bed and the pullout were very uncomfortable. If they fixed that it would be truly perfect!
