“Low-tide beach walk to Collingwood: park at Milnethorpe, on the highway en route to Collingwood, and walk through bush tracks to the beach, then stroll along to Collingwood. It’s about an hour’s walk and you can reward yourself with excellent coffee/breakfast/lunch/pizza at the relaxing Courthouse Café when you get there”

“1.12 hr drive and its quite a hike first along beside a river and the up, steeply up till you reach the cave. Magnificent! Can combine this with Crystal pools, Pupu Springs, Harwoods hole all in one very hard out day trip! For a more relaxing adventure you would need to choose just two or three options.”

“A great beach for summer. It’s quieter than Kaiteriteri but still gorgeous. You can swim in low and high tide here. There is a shady tree and a stream for kids to play in so great for families ”
