  • Miriam and Jon were wonderful hosts; welcoming, warm, helpful. They told us all about the history of the house and the community, gave us lots of suggestions for things to do locally, and even offered to drive us into town so we could have a few drinks and then pick us up when we were done! Really lovely couple and a beautiful home. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Fantastic experience! Miriam was so very accommodating and the house was perfect. Every was very clean upon our arrival and Miriam had filled the kitchen with a whole assortment of food and snacks, it was just like home! Thanks so much for our amazing stay in Lismore Miriam!

  • This is a wonderful home and Miriam and John are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. They will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. Peaceful country atmosphere, wonderful nearby spot for lovely evening walks, good location for regional day trips. It's a pleasure to be in the cottage which is open, airy, and bright. Well supplied kitchen, wonderfully comfortable king-size bed. We have stayed in many rentals in Europe and this is probably the best yet. We were sad to leave.

  • Miriam & John were both very welcoming and gracious hosts and had great stories about the house and locality. The house/accommodation was clean warm & quiet with everything you needed – we had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the green luscious countryside each morning. Miriam recommended to go see The Vee - which we did and it was in full blossom with purple rhododendrons - a great drive. We also cycled the Deise Greenway from Dungarvan, which was spectacular. Overall it was a great few days spent there - will be back again.

  • Photos don't do the place justice. Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable. Great welcome pack from Miriam. Lovely property and surroundings.

    Pamela2015-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We have a fantastic stay at Miriams. Plenty of room, light and airy, clean and she provided lots of goodies for brekky. She was on hand if we needed anything and super warm and friendly. Would highly recommend for an overnight or long stay.

Lisnabrin House has a long history of warm welcomes. It was a 'Hotel' and Dance Hall in the 50's and well used to craic, ceol and good times. Come and enjoy the tranquility of the Bride Valley in an historic setting equipped with cosy comforts. Lisnabrin is set in 25 acres of pasture, you are very welcome to wander and visit the animals, our horses and dogs are very friendly. We want our guests to feel welcome, relaxed and at home….we provide breakfast hampers and hopefully everything you need for a comfortable stay….anything extra at all that you might need, please give us a call or feel free to call into us in the house….otherwise we will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet...
We are located 15 minutes drive from Fermoy and the M8 motorway. Cork city is a 45 minute drive and the heritage town of Lismore is a 10 minute drive. The Blackwater Valley is North Cork's hidden Gem….renowned for fishing, hunting, walking and great food…visitors are spoilt for choice…if you need a Ghillie, a walking guide or local horse riding school contact….let us know…we would be delighted to help you enjoy this beautiful spot. The kitchen should have all you need to dine-in but we do have some lovely local spots for eating out. Lismore (10 minute drive) is our local heritage town, home to the spectacular Lismore Castle, a wander through the gardens and a casual dinner in Foleys would be our personal favourite. For gorgeous food in our prized coastal town of Ardmore (25 minute drive) try The White Horses Restaurant (no web site but they are rated on Tripadvisor) or a more formal setting and amazing waterfront scenery, the Michelin-star restaurant at The Cliff House Hotel, Ardmore. Youghal (20 mins) is famous for it's seafood and Ahernes is top for food there. Pizza afternoon on Saturdays at Ballymaloe cookery school (35 mins drive) is fantastic and of course Kinsale Town (1 hour drive) is renowned for it's gorgeous seafood restaurants. The local area here is steeped in history and Lismore (10 mins away) is our local heritage town with a fantastic castle, you can visit the grounds there but the castle is restricted as the Lord and and Lady of Devonshire still use it as their family holiday home. The Towers Walk in Lismore is lovely, a drive up to the Vee through Lismore is fantastic, a view of five counties from the top and lovely walk to a Corrie lake. The beaches at Ardmore and Youghal are great and the famous Ballymaloe Cookery school and restaurant are only 35 mins drive from us. The Jameson Distillery in Midleton (25 mins drive) is great for an indoor activity and a fascinating tour, followed by lunch in the Sage restaurant or The Farm Gate. Depending on what you are interested in there is lots to see and great places to eat. Blarney Castle (about 50 mins drive from us) is fantastic and they have just opened some additional parts of the castle and it is a great experience. Barryscourt Castle Midleton (30 mins away) is a really special visit, they have returned it to its original state and is a fantastic hands on experience of castle life in Ireland. Bantry House is a really lovely visit, it is 2 hours drive away but the area and even the drive is spectacular....Golf at Lismore (local course), Castlematyr or the world renound Head of Kinsale, all great courses. Kilkenny City is only 1.5 hours from us, a fortified city with amazing castle and medieval streets, worth a visit. Please let us know if you would like any further information or we can book anything for you.
  • Firstly the house is great! Lovely decor, very spacious, comfortable beds with good quality linen! The attention to detail was visible in every room & the welcome breakfast basket, flowers & baked treats were a lovely touch on arrival. In fact the best way to sum up our stay is that Lisnabrin = the definition of hospitality! On Easter morning Niamh our host arrived over with a basket of warm croissants & pain au chocolat for us all! We arrived home every day to a tidy house, the kids were kept well entertained with the table tennis, pool table & fussball in the games room! They even had a dress up chest in the loft along with a selection of DVDs to watch..Niamh is a natural host who gave us loads of great tips in advance of our stay of things to do in the area & places to eat - & considering we packed in a lot for our 3 days we still have plenty more to see & do in this lovely part of Ireland - in fact none of us wanted to leave ! Thanks Niamh for looking after us so well, we had a really memorable family holiday!

    Alan2016-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a brilliant time in Lisnabrin (two Brits and two Aussies). Tastefully decorated, spacious accommodation; comfortable mattresses on the beds; pretty courtyard garden; friendly resident dogs! Niamh couldn't have been more helpful and hospitable. It was a quiet location but within easy reach of the coast and Cork and so much nicer than staying in a town. Would love to return. Thanks Niamh.

    Anne2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lisnabrin is truly a little gem. Niamh and all of the team had thought of absolutely everything to ensure that we had a wonderful and memorable weekend. The cottage and the loft were perfect for our group of eight and we couldn’t fault a thing. Niamh is so friendly, welcoming and wonderful to deal with and I would definitely recommend staying @ Lisnabrin.

    Kris2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay the cottage and grounds are really lovely. We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and visited Lisbon, Cork, Blarney castle and Cobh during our stay. A great base for visiting Southern Ireland.

    Darryl2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Cottage and The Loft afforded exceptional accommodation for our family which included my married son, his wife and two little children aged five and one, my partner and myself and not to forget our two dogs. It is so cosy and we felt so at home the minute we walked through the door. Niamh and her children are so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Niamh even made a dream to ride a horse come true for my daughter in law by taking her out to the arena and spent time making her feel confident. Nothing was too much trouble for this super host. Niamh even organised an Easter Egg hunt for my little granddaughter and we all had such fun following all her clues to finally find the treasure chest full of Easter chocolates. I would highly recommend this fabulous venue in every way. The beds are so so comfortable. We will definitely be back. Pat, Barbara and family. Xxx

  • Superb tranquil location. Great accommodation on a beautiful private estate - it's just like the pictures. The excellent reviews left by others so far are all absolutely justified. Niamh and Richard are lovely, genuine, hard working people. They, with the support of their support staff offer a super Airbnb experience. We absolutely recommend a stay here.

    David 2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful stay at Lisnabrin. A large family of 8 people, a warm welcome by Niamh and her family, we felt truly at home. The cottage itself had everything we could possibly need, milk, orange juice, fresh eggs and bread supplied every day. The surroundings are ideal, beautiful gardens, a stroll down to the horses and plenty of room to walk around. The kids (big and small) were well entertained with the surroundings and the games room! The location is only a short drive to beautiful Lismore, beaches and towns. The best part of our stay was the hostess Niamh and her family, we didn't want to go home. Will would love to come back again!

  • If you want a peaceful stay this is the place and if you like to meet the locals for a chat the Plough Pub is the best we came across.

  • We had a lovely stay in Maria's beautiful house. The scenery is stunning and the early morning deer in the garden were a fantastic sight. Maria is a delightful and considerate host and her breakfast was superb, the rooms and beds very comfortable and the towels extra fluffy ! It's one of those addresses you'd really want to keep secret.

    Corinne2016-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Kilcalf Schoolhouse. Maria met us warmly with a smile, tea (followed by wine) and lots of interesting stories. She also generously shared the pot of delicious soup that she had cooking on the stove. We had so much fun imagining her interesting life and the history of her beautiful home. The beds (and luxurious bedding) were very comfortable. Finally, I must mention the view, which was magnificent. We enjoyed it in the evening and were greeting early by an awe-inspiring golden sunrise. Another highlight was watching a herd of cows pass by on the way home from the fields to the barn. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. We hope to return some day!

    Betty2016-07-19T00:00:00Z

Beautiful, scenic setting not far from a wonderful small town. Maria gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Her home itself was amazing. Beautiful, clean, and incredibly luxurious for the price you pay. Will definitely try and stay again if we're in the area!

Town center living at its best, my newly extended 4 double bedroom terrace cottage is available all year round . Lismore, Co Waterford is a stunning heritage town in the sunny South East of Ireland, it's an ideal base for families and couples.
Deceptively large cottage boasting 4 double bedrooms with a fully fitted kitchen and comfy sitting room with a wood burning stove. My cottage has been renovated and extended to a very high standard recently. Its within minutes walk to Lismore town centre where you'll find pubs and restaurants and shops.
The surrounding area is packed with beauty and unspoilt countryside. The most famous attraction must be Lismore castle dating from 1170 sitting on the banks of the river Blackwater, the gardens are open during the high season from March to September. Lismore has plenty of local bars and lovely restaurants. Lismore is the most picturesque an historic in Waterford and was once described as "some of the most beautiful rich countryside ever seen" by Thackeray, a Victorian novelist.
  • Really enjoyed our stay at Damien 's lovely cottage, a real home away from home. The property is perfectly situated, close to shops, restaurants and all the sights lovely Lismore has to offer. This cottage has all the amenities you could possibly need and more. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting spacious and comfortable accommodation from which to explore the area.

  • A beautiful clean, spacious house ideal for four people in a quiet area of Lismore, which is full of the friendliest people you could hope to meet, and within walking distance to the main street for all the shops and pubs you will need for your stay. A quick phone call to our host, Damien, and he was there in a flash to give us keys and show us round the place. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

  • We had a very enjoyable stay over Christmas/New Year and arrived to a warm house and warm welcome. Very clean, well equipped house and attentive hosts. The house looks small from the outside but is deceptively roomy inside. Well located in the centre of Lismore.

  • Lovely clean warm and very well stocked cottage. Excellent location within walking distance of the town with all its amenities - Lismore Castle and grounds and great walks. Warm and friendly welcome. I would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Damian.

  • Great location, we got a bit lost solely down to my really bad sense of direction but Damien talked us through it... (It's not rocket science it's not even 5 minutes walk from the Lismore Castle which is right in the centre of the town..) and we made it there in the end.. Thanks again for the help and for everything!

  • This home is very charming, a real old Irish cottage. I loved how the owners renovated it without compromising the features that make it historical. My children loved having their own space in the loft, and the spacious closet gave them plenty of room to store their things. The kitchen is roomy. We really appreciated all of the breakfast and snack goodies that the owners left for us. After a long day of sightseeing and driving, it was nice not to have to run right out to the store. I think my favorite part of the house was the bench out front. We were fortunate to have had nice weather, and I sat out there often. The location of this home is ideal! The grocery store is just around the corner on the main street, as are restaurants and places of interest. We especially took advantage of the beautiful town park at the end of the street! A must go to. The people in town were friendly, one suggesting places to see while in the area. As this home is listed as not having Wi-Fi, note that the Lismore Heritage Center is just steps away down the street and offers free Wi-Fi and a place to sit while using it. It is open every day, but note the hours. I highly recommend The River Cottage as a rental option.

    River Cottage, Lismore
    10 reviews
The house is situated on 1 acre, overlooking the spectacular Bride Valley, about 5 km outside the delightful heritage town of Lismore. From the front of the house you have a magnificent view for more than 30 km over the Bride Valley into Co. Cork .
From the living room you can see the undulating hills beyond which lies the Irish Sea. The hills encompass forest and meadow which are separated by small trees and shrubs. Nestled among those trees is a small church which only opens on Christmas Eve. To the West is the River Bride which feeds into the beautiful River Blackwater. There is an Irish song with the title "Forty Shades Of Green". This song comes immediately to mind when you admire the view. The dark green leaves on the trees, in combination with the numerous different shades of the green meadows make you wonder if every farmer in the area was allowed to use his own shade. The sun arrives at the front of the house around 10 o'clock in the morning and the beautiful Irish sunsets are best enjoyed from the sunroom. Lismore’s landmark has to be the impressive Lismore Castle home to the Duke of Devonshire and family. Part of the gardens are open to the public and can be visited in season. The town itself is vibrant and friendly with a good array of shops, nice pubs and restaurants, and a heritage centre. Lismore is located right on the River Blackwater.
Southeast Ireland has all the coast can offer, from the incredibly fresh fish to the sandy beaches and sunshine in Ardmore, Duncannon, Dunmore East, and Wexford. Round towers litter the countryside, most notably the Rock of Cashel’s tower in Cashel. Inland, mesmerizing green fields and stunning mountains provide exciting views. The region is most easily seen by automobile and best experienced by bicycle, although buses and trains serve most cities and towns.
  • We had a most memorable stay here. The house is beautiful with spectacular views. Our kids were delighted with the selection of toys and games. Would definitely return again in the future.

  • Beautiful location overlooking stunning landscapes with glorious night skies on clear evenings. Homely, spacious house a little way out of Lismore (approx 2.5 miles). Quality of the friendly welcome, explanation of facilities and advice on where to go and visit is spot on and all go to make a very enjoyable visit to the southern counties of Ireland. We can very much recommend Cork as a fantastic city to visit. Ardmore as a beautiful village and beach.

  • Albert was a great host. The house is gorgeous with tons of windows to capture the natural beauty of the Irish landscape. The house is off the beaten track but allows for fullest enjoyment of the area. And we found that everything we needed could be purchased in Lismore or one of the towns less than a 30 minute drive away. It was a great stay.

    Katherine2015-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Bright open interior with lots of natural light is like a breath of fresh air in the changeable Irish weather. Spacious house has wonderful showers , comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Located about three kilometers south of Lismore, on arrival Albert talked us through the route to make sure we found the house, narrow country roads though farmland make it slow driving. Lovely vista over the valley from the house, keep an eye out for rabbits darting about! European electrical adaptors were a great benefit. Internet access was confusing with "top up" and "add on". Burnt up a week of access in one night! Must turn off all devices when not in use. May be norm. Electricity cost 57 Euro for 12 days on top of rental. Know what to expect. All in all great stay in a great house in a great location. Danke schoen!

Merci !

Her home and the available room are very comfortable and clean and Helen and her husband made me feel very welcome. It was great to have access to their WiFi and back garden too. Lovely breakfast and warm company the next morning. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Charming cottage centrally located in the heart of Lismore. The property is a mere 2 minute walk from all local amenities and attractions, including the Castle Gardens, Millennium Park and it's stunning Gothic Cathedral. The cottage includes 2 double beds, so is perfectly suited to 2 couples or a small family.
Recently refurbished to a high standard, the property includes electric shower, stove, TV, WiFi, electric heating and all other expected utilities. The cottage also offers a unique view of St. Carthage's Church from a private and secluded back garden, ideal for eating alfresco and catching the rays of the sun in the summer (this is the sunny south east after all).

Please call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) to talk to Marian Ruairi, a friendly, old, Irish Wolfhound lives at Orchard Cottage also.
  • Marian and Seamus are the most welcoming hosts I have ever met in a B&B. I would certainly stay with them again.

    Philip2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Marian and Seamus were amazing hosts, so welcoming and their home is beautiful. The gardens are superb and a testament to the hard work they put into it. Rooms and bed really comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. Great location in the beautiful town of Lismore. Highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.

    Greg2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place, lovely hosts. Amazing pets! Very homely and welcoming space. Seamus and Marian were really flexible and accommodating. Can't imagine there is a better place to stay in Lismore.

    Ronan James2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marian & Seamus are the most kind, welcoming, generous an interesting people you could hope to meet using AirBnB - and they clearly love having people to saty. Their home is newly renovated (to a VERY high standard), so tastefully decorated and exceptionally comfortable, (I personally loved the underfloor heating - my feet get so cold, even in August!, and it was a real luxury). I can't say enough about their attention to us during our short stay, Marian even contacted us a couple of days before we arrived to check if we had booked an evening meal in Lismore, and booked us into the perfect place. No detail was overlooked, beautiful breakfast, served up to us with true grace by Seamus (maybe he was a butler in a previous life!). Do not hesitate to stay with them - you will leave having made a couple of new friends

    Rosarii2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience of Airbnb and it couldnt have been more successful. From the moment we arrived to the moment of departure we were met with friendliness, kindness and genuine Irish hospitality. From a welcoming glass of wine and offers of snacks, friendly conversation, a restaurant reservation, a lift to the village and a lovely breakfast every need was anticipated and catered for. A beautiful home and beautiful people. Dont miss out on a wonderful experience if in the area.

    Tim2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is a homey, comfy room with 2 single beds in a house with a big friend Irish wolfhound (he's kept out of the area where the airbnb room and bath are). Marian and Seamus were responsible to pre-stay questions and welcomed me with a glass of wine. They made me feel completely at home and have a spacious yard and garden where the birds sing all day. The breakfast was amazing, full Irish with bacon, eggs, toast, and juice and everything cooked to perfection - the breakfast alone is worth the price of the stay. Everything was clean. My final night in Lismore was a Thursday and Seamus and Marian, being music lovers, made sure I knew it was trad'l music night at the local pub, which was grand. It's just a 10-minute walk to downtown so you can park your car when you arrive and leave it.

    Michael2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Marian and Seamus are delightful and their cottage is beautiful. They were so welcoming to me even when I made a last minute reservation in the off season and interrupted a holiday get together with their friends. They welcomed me to join them with a glass (or 3) of wine and even invited me to stay for dinner. The house was lovely and their pets are sweet as can be. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling through Lismore- and definitely take a bath in the awesome clawfoot tub!

    Jennifer2016-12-20T00:00:00Z

This is a lovely Modern Cottage set on the outskirts of the lovely village of Ballyduff Upper which has 4 pubs a shop and a church. Ballyduff is renound for its Drama festival and salmon fishing. The Heritage town of Lismore is only 5 miles away.
The house is situated on the Blackwater River, with beautiful views. It contains 3 double bedrooms - 1 kingsize, 1 double and 1 twin all with ensuites containing power showers. Also a family bathroom with roll top bath and shower. Open plan kitchen/dining area and sitting room with T.V. and utility room. Plenty of off road parking.

Your hamper and bins are refreshed by the sleepover Team as required.
The recently refurbished Loft Apartment @ Lisnabrin has one ensuite bedroom and an adjoining kitchen/living area to relax and unwind. You have your own entrance door for access with a lobby and wc.
We are located 15 minutes drive from Fermoy and the M8 motorway. Cork city is a 45 minute drive and the heritage town of Lismore is a 10 minute drive. The Blackwater Valley is North Cork's hidden Gem….renowned for fishing, hunting, walking and great food…visitors are spoilt for choice…if you need a Gillie, a walking guide or local horse riding school contacts….let us know…we would be delighted to help you enjoy this beautiful spot.
  • On our arrival we received a very warm welcome and Niamh was a great host throughout the entire stay. The property is simply amazing! There is space to wander around or to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the lovely garden just beside the loft. Our baby son loved the families dogs and their kids as well. Niamh even got him a birthday present what was just so sweet! Thanks a million again! The kitchen was well-equipped and there was loads of food provided for breakfast which was refilled every day. The apartment was very clean and it was nice to have a separate dormitory with the baby, as we were then able to watch some of the DVDs allocated in the apartment. We felt very comfortable at Lisnabrin and would definitely recommend this place!!!

  • An extremely comfortable apartment in a beautiful setting. We had everything we could need for our short stay. The area was beautiful with lots to so and convenient for Cork. Niamh was very welcoming and friendly. Would love to visit again.

    Kate2016-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Niamh was warm and welcoming and continually checked in to see if we needed anything. The loft, the property and the horses are so beautiful. She even took the time to give us a quick riding lesson, which we really loved. Even when a small item needed repair in the loft, she addressed it immediately. We loved having a little kitchen to prepare lunches and a few meals in. Although it's not extremely close to restaurants and shopping, it's a centrally located spot in relation to the many day trips we had planned in all different locations. And the drive was worth it for the beautiful views we had along our route. All the necessities are cared for, and then some. And the daily replenishment of bread, eggs, milk and juice was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a quiet and comfortable spot to stay.

  • I stayed here with my boyfriend as we were going to a local wedding! Niamh is a great host and helped us to organise transport to the venue. The loft is perfect for two people and made the trip so relaxing. I would definitely recommend having a car. The house and gardens are goefeous and having the dogs and horses made it just perfect! We loved it!

  • Neil is very responsive and quick to reply with the messages you send him so rest assured you will receive a reply! The highlight of this entire stay here is Neil's utmost friendliness! Being a quiet person, he was still able make the conversation flowing. As I was travelling without a car, Neil gladly picked me up from the nearest bus-accessible town, Fermoy. Next day he also provided me a ride to Lismore and back. But do take note that he charges 5Euro for each way. Other notable thing is the hot tub which is a must try.

  • Neill makes my colleagues feel very welcome, he is relaxed, easy-going and friendly - a home from home. Thank you.

  • Neill was super understanding as I couldn't make my stay -- I let him know and he was very amenable and offered to host me when I did make it the next time around. Would be a pleasure to stay judgining from his easy manner.

  • Neill and crew were the most entertaining lot. There were many laughs and great conversation to be had. B was one of the best as she was very sweet and knowledgeable on many subjects and places to go. The house is well lived in but the company and fur baby's were amazing. I will definitely visit again.

  • I received a very warm welcome to this beautifully restored home

    Grajnne2015-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Neil was a great host! Great place to stay if you want to get away from it all and aren't interested in the typical "touristy" sights. Very "no-frills", laid-back, casual atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and served on a picnic table overlooking a splendid view!

  • Wow! Really impressive experience at Carrigeenhill farmhouse. Too bad it was only for one night. First off, the house is beautifully located in a very scenic area, yet easily accessible by the N72. The house itself is wonderful - large with a quirky layout and lovely wood flooring/doors/stairs everywhere. The room was large and comfortable and I also had access to the adjoining upstairs lounge (equipped with a huge television), which essentially meant I had the whole upper floor to myself. The nearest stop for groceries is about 3 km away, but it makes for a lovely walk. Neill and his girlfriend were very welcoming and were happy to provide advice and help me find things in the kitchen. They were both very conversational and I had an enjoyable time chatting with them. After a long day cycling, I was also pleasantly surprised when they offered up their hottub, which was a relaxing way to take in the evening air.

Double doors from the kitchen lead out onto the cottage garden terrace. Lisnabrin is set in 25 acres of pasture, you are very welcome to wander and visit the animals, our horses and dogs are very friendly. We want our guests to feel welcome, relaxed and at home….we provide breakfast hampers and hopefully everything you need for a comfortable stay….anything extra at all that you might need, please give us a call or feel free to call into us in the house….otherwise we will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet.
We are located 20 minutes drive from Fermoy and the M8 motorway.

  • Niamh and her family were wonderful hosts. They were warm and welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their property is gorgeous with beautiful grounds for walking. The Cottage is bright during the day with a private garden, and cosy and warm in the evening. The kitchen was stocked with a wonderful selection, including fresh eggs, fruit, breads, jams, yogurt, milk, orange juice to name a few. It truly was a lovely and relaxing stay. We would most definitely stay here again.

  • Perfectly appointed cottage away from the big cities, yet centrally located for many interests. The cottage was above and beyond what we could dream of. Check in was simple and communication was very quick. The 3 dogs were so fun and we were sad to leave them behind! The garden was amazing, with fresh strawberries you can pick from the vine. The hosts were very kind to allow us to check in later than posted time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if ever back in Ireland we definitely would stay here again!

  • Niamh's cottage was incredible! It's beautiful on the inside and out and we were made to feel really comfortable and at home there. Niamh was a truly amazing host and really looked after us when we arrived much later than planned after missing our flight. We had a lovely morning sitting in the kitchen looking out at the gardens and cooking breakfast with the fantastic food provided for us. This wasn't like any other airbnb we have stayed in before! We really look forward to coming back and staying for a few days next time. Thanks so much!

  • Our stay was phenomenal!! From the time of our arrival we felt welcomed. Our 4 year old daughter had a very special welcoming from the "The Vegetables" who left her 2 chocolates and a note. We just couldn't have been more pleased. Our gracious hosts Niamh & Richard were so attentive in providing the comforts of home; everyday we had our custom breakfast basket replenished (milk & orange juice included). It was such a joy to spend time on their beautiful property, and in in the lovely cottage. One evening we borrowed bicycles for a ride to the Plough for date night; a great suggestion to enjoy the local vibe. My family & I had the best 3 days of relaxation at Lisnabrin. What a gem!! Many thanks Niamh & Richard

  • This cottage was amazing! It was my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland. There was plenty of food in the hamper for breakfast and milk and juice in the fridge. It is extremely clean and there is a washer for clothes. We had a great time driving down to the coast. It was a great place to relax for a few days and we would be happy to stay again.
