Restaurant
“You will never leave this place disappointed. The most delicious food, fantastic for groups as you order dishes for the whole table and share. It’s like being at a dinner party with the best cook ever and no one has to do any of the work! Suitable for couples too. Must book in advance, these guys are popular. Once you visit you’ll know why. Ok for kids with adventurous taste, but you won’t find hot chips or tomato sauce here, or a high chair for that matter. Older kids who like good food, great! ”

Restaurant
“The perfect place for a long, relaxed dinner out. The professional staff do all they can to meet your needs and ensure your wine glass is never empty for long. Their sharing plate is the perfect way to wind down after a busy day exploring before you tuck into their delectable main meals. Watch the lights come on around the harbour as you share a decadent dessert and a last glass of wine.”

Café
“Lunchtime is busy almost every day, but there are more seats available at the back. The small garden setting is there and allowed to smoke. Most cabinet foods are always great and soup of the day will be a fabulous choice in winter. (I couldn't find any better soup in this area yet :) There are varieties of brunch menu as well. The choice is yours. Try!”

Museum
“Widely acclaimed as the best private museum in the country, the museum uses life size exhibits and scale models to present NZ's heritage in a series of super realistic and engaging displays. It is hard to believe this is all the work of one man, local artist Nigel Ogle.”
