An absolute must! Close to the CBD and all amenities, with everything you need within easy reach! Lovely private property, with great views of the city! We also had a wonderful opportunity to chat with Mieke, who gave us some lovely tips for places to see in the Huon Valley & Bruny Island. Would definitely recommend to friends!

We have enjoyed our stay at Mieke's. The place has all the creature comfort we needed: very comfortable bed for a restful sleep, silence, fully equipped kitchen (no microwave oven, but it was not missed), clean bathroom amenities, and a warm welcome. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Hobart again. Next time, we'll make the best of our stay and take on the walking tracks of Mount Wellington!

Lovely drive to the location, great location South of Hobart. Gorgeous scenery set at the lower end of Mt Wellington. Very cozy place. Enjoyed the ease and comfort of our stay. Especially loved the sandstone mosaic shower! Excellent all of the above, highly recommend!

Magical place. The hostess had some great recommendations on where to dine, provided us with fresh blueberries from her garden, and had a wonderful room for us with great amenities, including field guides and books. The rainforest trail down to the city is a must do.

This space is absolutely amazing. It encourages creativity and peace. Highly recommended for a space to unwind and relax in. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

If we could give the Container more than 5 stars we would. It was an absolutely perfect getaway & allowed us to feel completely and utterly relaxed. There are so many activities to do at the container & a beautiful walk that you can do on the property too. The homemade bread and fresh free range eggs were absolutely amazing. We will be back!

Our first trip to Tassie and we used the Container as our home for the first three nights. A magical place with magnificent views and amazing architecture and personal touches. Funky, fun and a fantastic location. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

A beautiful home, nestled near Hobart in the hills. It feels like a beautiful farm stay, but still so close to the city. It was cold weather when we visited, but we arrived to a warm, heated home and wonderful views. Will absolutely be back!

It was an amazing experience living in Vanilla pod, very clean and maintained and loved to see how you are saving water and how beautifully environment friendly this place is.

We had a wonderful stay at Hobart Hideaway Pods. The view was spectacular! Clare was an excellent host who was a breeze to communicate with and provided us with excellent information about the local area.

I stayed in the Vanilla Pod. A truly beautiful place to stay, the cottage itself and the landscape... native gardens and majestic view. Host very welcoming and available. Reminder no cooking facilities, just be prepared or go out for food. Only 20 min out from Hobart, 5 min Kingston town. YES do stay there!

Very cute house, clean and warmly decorated in style. The room is also very warm at night, the view is very beautiful, and there are lovely animals around. The toilet is a degradable and environmentally-friendly toilet, and hot water is provided in the shower. Very happy staying experience. Lovely place with breathtaking view! The inner decoration is cute. Heater working very well to keep warm and cozy at night. Lots of wildlife around that place. We spend a wonderful night here.

Really great spot! The home is extremely beautifully decorated, and has the most windows I have ever seen in an Airbnb (which is perfect because the view is great!) Everything was very clean and the home has many thoughtful touches. The hosts were also very responsive! Definitely recommend

Taranna is a lovely location, very convenient to anywhere you might want to go on the Tasman Peninsula, and has a pleasant small-scale feel. The shack is just across the road from the jetty and bay, nice for a stroll. The shack is very much as advertised and shown in photos, relaxing to hang out in, spacious, and sitting on the front deck in good weather is very pleasant.

Frankie’s place is a good base to explore the Tasman Peninsula. It is a funky design with a fabulous deck for relaxing with a drink.

Amazing inspiring shack!! The decoration is awesome, Frankie is very nice! We had a great stay. Just if you are sensitive to noise like me, bring your earplugs as it's on the highway (there is not so many traffic though) :) We will come back!!

This is one of the best value AirBnbs we have ever stayed in. With really lovely design and great tips on things to do as well a a very friendly and helpful host we can not fault it. Would 100% recommend it!

I loved how light, colourful and spacious the place is. The shack is on the main Hwy so you hear the traffic but it does have beautiful views. Bedding was average but fine for a few nights.

Sheepwash Bay is a secluded gem of a place that makes you want to give up city life and hitch a shack on paddock somewhere. The experience John and jenene have designed is so authentic and special. With little touches like fresh bread in the morning, access to their veggie garden and eggs to morning hugs from their dog Mikey. The shack is beautifully designed, very clean, warm and well equipped. This is the perfect off the grid weekend away, could not recommend more.

The perfect hideaway to relax and recharge on Bruny Island. Beautiful surroundings and the cabin is cozy, inviting and well-equipped with everything we needed, along with a number of thoughtful touches throughout. A true gem and we hope to return one day!

The Shack is a charming space in an amazing location. We had dinner as we watched the sun set over Sheepwash Bay, and picked fresh vegetables for our breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to visit again!

Cute little place by the sea that my partner and I stayed at for one night. Ross was a lovely host, coming and helping us get the fire started after our long day of driving. Highlights were the hanging lounge in the backyard, which we could have both sat in forever (it was so comfy!), and the fire pit which was so nice to sit by in the evening. It was great to have all the amenities too, as we could cook and do laundry very easily. Would recommend!

We have stayed here once before and it was just as lovely the 2nd time. The location is stunning, the cottage very tastefully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches, including a batch of homemade brownies on arrival. Janice & Ross are lovely hosts.

Ross and Janice's place is absolutely gorgious. The cottage is really comfortable and clean and all needed is available. The close access to the beach is so nice. We came with two children of 7 and 8 and for us it was the ideal spot. The kids enjoyed climbing on the rocks and playing on the beach and all of us had a wonderful and relaxing time.

The photos don't do justice to Ross and Janice's home. It's very modern and spacious. The garden and beach area is amazing. We had a great night by the fire. Would definitely come back

This place is paradise! A beautiful location, stunning views, with stylish architecture that respects the landscape. The sauna and hot tub were sublime. The steps down to the water front are a nice touch! Perfect hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay comfy and chilled. A very hard place to leave. We hope to come back again!

Beautiful views from the deck, lounge and bedroom and lovely spotlessly clean house, with a bath big enough for two in the bedroom. We also had nightly visits from a couple of Wallabies which was delightful. A perfect couples escape.

I can only confirm everyone else's positive reviews and to add that the walk to the pub was the nicest I can remember.....and I have walked a few in my 60+ years!

A great place for a couples retreat. Me and my hubby started our honeymoon here and loved it! The bath in the bedroom is a great addition to an already lovely space!

This is a special home. As soon as you walk in the door you feel relaxed and happy. The owners have gone above and beyond to create a beautiful, comfortable and unique space. You will want for nothing, lots of little details have been thoughtfully catered for. A real gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didnt want to leave. There was plenty of things to occupy ourselves; books, games, movies/netfix etc , sport equipment and surf gear for adults and children. The views of the ocean are amazing. The ocean sea breeze is so refreshing. The beds were next level of snuggly, warm comfort..like a fluffy cloud. We were grateful to have such a wonderful haven to stay on our trip in Tasmania

If you’re contemplating booking this accommodation, look no further. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and a wonderful base if you’re doing anything in Hobart, Port Arthur or surrounding areas. The house is just as you’d imagine it and Glenys was great at communicating all the details you’d need to navigate the towns nearby, pickup supplies and check in with ease. Waking up to the sunset in bed and 180 degree ocean views from every room was beyond amazing. Watching the sunset, people surfing and wallaby’s hop past the back fence whilst enjoying a fire with wine and cheese is an experience we will never ever forgot. This home has a lot of love in it, expressed in every detail. We cannot wait to come back again...and again...and again. You can’t go past this place! And if you’re lucky you will get a visit from Dobby the adorable cat from next door.

We really liked this place, really homey feeling, and everybody really enjoyed themselves, the kids on the boogie boards and the adults outside watching the ever changing view. We wished we stayed longer and hope we can return one day! A lot Thanks What a nice place

Most enjoyable stay. Worked well as a base for our sightseeing as close to Hobart so we’re able to have the peace and quiet of the farm with all the animals around which we enjoyed. This place is amazing for a retreat in the nature (but still close enough to the city if needed), especially if you are an animal lover. Lesley is super friendly and helpful for everything necessary. Highly recommended!

Lesley’s place was awesome! If I would have known we would have loved it so much we would have stayed another night or two!! I’d definitely stay again if I returned to the Hobart area. It’s exactly as described on her listing. Our favorites were the views, the friendly mini-horse and the wood burning fire!

I am not sure where to start. The property was amazing in a beautiful area on an island that seemed to good to be real. The owner went our of her way to make our stay perfect. My wife and 3 year old stayed in "The Hide" cabin and we were so happy with our choice. I poured over many properties to stay all over Tasmania and fell in love with our choice the moment we arrived. There are a bounty of domestic animals and wildlife all around. The cabin was large, more area than we needed. The views and clean air were wonderful. We were able to walk the property freely and visit with all her animals. We were provided with everything we needed and then some. Easy drive to most anywhere we wanted to go. Hobart is close, but you feel like you are in the middle of now where. Excellent!!! Thank you Lesley!!!

We had an amazing stay. Lesley’s hospitality was like no other. If you enjoy the beautiful countryside with friendly animals and a warm fire, this place is just for you.

We were disappointed to not see the platypus, but the rest of the wildlife at dusk were magical - the wallabies, quolls, and wombats in the meadow were amazing and what we were hoping to see! Thank you Craig and Adam for sharing your special place with us!

We stayed for 5 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Craig was very kind and also helpful with advice. The accommodation itself is self contained and is within a very large garden in a very quiet rural setting. Everything was good.

Thank you for having us stay in your Earth House the past few nights! Craig and Adam were such easy hosts to communicate with before the trip and amazing while we were there. I would definitely recommend staying here to any friends or family that were travelling to Tassy. We had a great time staying at Craig and Adam's guest cottage. We looked for a quiet, peaceful and comfortable accommodation that is a little outside of Hobart, yet not too far away to visit Mona, Hobart and the surroundings for a few days. Craig and Adam's place ticked all these boxes, so we were very happy that we found this! Craig and Adam are very friendly, everything is easy and uncomplicated. Craig was super helpful with recommendations and little tips where to go and what to see. Thanks Craig and Adam for making our Hobart visit very pleasant!

We had a fantastic time at this acommodation. Craig was extremely helpful and provided lot's of helpful tips. There are beautiful surroundings, with lots of wildlife and the cabin is extremely comfortable.

If you want to wake up to chirping birds, scenic views and loads of TLC - this is your place to go. Just a half hour outside of Hobart and a world away you will find a beautiful cabin on a mountain. Very clean hot shower and well equipped kitchen as well as a fireplace, big bed and a view to die for. A super warm welcome from both Craig and Adam will make you feel at home in no time. Free parking, possibility to do laundry, fridge and wifi. But skip the latter and enjoy the lovely terrace and garden, you're in Tasmania :)

An amazing experience staying in a cottage, which is a quiet place with great view. It’s quiet cozy lying on the grass and watch the stars at night. The indoor part are so good and the dinning table has a great sunset light. Thanks for hosting us!

A one of a kind experience!! Loved monty’s hideaway and the beautiful grounds it is situated on. Great quiet location about 20mins easy walk into city.

I loved staying at the Hideaway! The space is though fully designed and presented with underfloor heating, a large rain shower head, and the open roof which was brilliant. The location is an easy walk to the city, Salamanca and Sandy Bay, making many good cafes within walking distance. The list of recommended places to try was also appreciated!

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Hideaway. I was blessed with amazing weather, so got to experience the stars at night and glorious blue sky in the morning. Everything was super clean and I really loved the shower too!! Would definitely stay again.

Monty’s Hideaway was a great space for us (a couple) to stay for two nights. It was just as described and we loved the opening roof (unfortunately both nights were cloudy). We enjoyed sitting on the deck to relax after a hard day of sightseeing. The sleek and modern bathroom made mornings less of a chore!

Very groovy little space in a gorgeous neighbourhood.

This was one of my favourite Airbnb experiences ever! The removable ceiling was incredible and being able to watch stars from the bed was so unique and something that I will never forget. The container is has many beautiful touches. I highly recommend this accommodation and I would love to come back and stay again.

Situated directly opposite the water, made for an amazing entry at sunset. Just sat by the window watching the world go by. The cottage made for an enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My partner and I had such a lovely, cosy stay here! The views were beautiful, it was conveniently located (we loved having the Rosevears Hotel next door for dinner - and yet, no noticeable noise!) - and easy to visit many local attractions. Exactly what we were looking for! Quaint, cosy and felt like the middle of the forest! When we arrived we were greeted by an adorable small black and white pooch. He reminded me of my dog back at home who I was missing. The love grove is cosy with plenty of stuff to keep you warm- electric blanket, wood fire heater, extra blanket on top which was plenty. The owners kindly provided bread, eggs, milk, tea, sugar, coffee, OJ, jam, butter and cornflakes! The owners were friendly and left us to our devices which is what you want. We checked out cradle mountain and even saw an echidna just up the road from the property!

Fabulous place to stay - loved it!

The Love Grove is the perfect homely place to stay to be close to all the beauty of Cradle Mountain National Park and the other things to do around the area. The place is lovely, clean and private. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful & peaceful retreat. Loved the farm animals and wildlife on the property. Wilmot is a lovely area and we were able to drive to cradle mountain but were away from the other tourists

We enjoyed Tania’s cottage so much.. a perfect pit stop for nearby Cradle Mountain. Utterly breathtaking beauty of surrounds- so secluded, private and super romantic! Tania had many homely touches which made our stay extra special including brekky essentials and cool juice in the fridge. Thank you again!

Very private, rustic and comfortable place about 40 minutes from Cradle Mountain. While we never met our hosts, Tania was kind enough to leave substantial breakfast supplies and the wood stove burning for our arrival. Having a washer and dryer was a nice treat! Leaving the door to the bathroom open kept it mostly warm for late night trips. And when we left, we saw a kangaroo hopping along the side of the road!

This place is one of the genuine finds of Air BnB and I can’t recommend it enough! The property is located not far from Cradle Mountain and is stunningly beautiful in its own right. There are farm animals as well as some local natives that come down to say hello. Dom was friendly and professional, greeting us on arrival and showing us around. We also took Dom up on his offer of cooking and it was one of the best meals I’ve eaten in my life.

Beautiful location with outstanding view of Mt Roland and lots of native wildlife!

The view from the deck is absolutely spectacular. You get to look at Mt. Roland in all its glory - changing constantly throughout the day. The dining table is set up so that you even get to watch the mountain while enjoying your meals. Eclectically decorated, the house was very clean, with good quality sheets and towels. Very comfortable bed. The king bed faces the mountain. Amazing to wake up to that view. Nice to have a BBQ. Communications were excellent. It is a country property, so there is a bit of drive to town and local attractions. However, we loved having the privacy and felt like we had it all to ourselves. Lots of local wildlife to enjoy and of course the 2 horses and 3 sheep. Highly recommend.

Nothing but great things to say about this AirBnB! A quirky colourful space with huge comfortable beds, the best views in town and plenty of wildlife added in for free. Do yourself a favour and request Dom to cook you dinner - not only do you not have to leave the property, but sharing a memorable meal while drinking in the spectacular views of Mount Roland will ensure a stay you wont forget.

Beautifully decorated reminese of a bygone era colours of cottage blended so well together, love the little touches of leadlight glass and Art Deco, topped off with a heavenly view of the mountain yes it’s definitely a little garden of eden.

My partner and I immediately felt safe at home in this cosy cabin. The wood fire heater makes the place toasty, the bed is comfortable and the view is gorgeous! We loved it so much we're hoping to stay in the cabin again in the future.

We had a great stay at Liz and Alex’s. It was beautifully designed. We loved the large glass door that could pivot on its hinges out onto the courtyard. Whilst its in the heart of Hobart it felt like we were miles away from town. It has the benefits of convenience paired with being quiet and tranquil. Only thing I’d say is just the lighting at night isn’t that bright for cooking. Perfect for a couple’s getaway! 👌

Perfect location, within walking distance to Constitution Dock and Salamanca Markets / CBD. Wonderfully designed and put together space and perfect for a weekend away or a mid-week break. Very quiet area, lots of local tips, and easy to understand check in instructions.

This place is where the old meets new, classic meets modern. We loved the character of the house and generous space. The location was absolutely outstanding. So close to lots of attractions, hospitals, shops, parks and cafes. A very relaxing place to come back after exploring the area. Would definitely recommend it.

Staying at The Trig is dreamy, we especially loved the fresh local produce our hosts provided free. Susie’s native flower garden is also lovely, cuttings from which grace every room in the house. The bed is deliciously plush. A spectacular stay with thoughtful hospitality and, of course, misty mountain views.

Amazing place, most beautiful nature and fantastic house. All comfort one could ask for, including espresso and a bed heater!

My Partner & I were delighted at this Georgeous and very secluded yet very accessible cottage. So many extra touches made our stay special, from the locally sourced breakfast hamper, to the soft linen sheets, fresh flowers and extensive tea selection. Being able to bathe in nature on the deck whilst staring at the stars was a highlight, would love to return.

A beautifully designed space with a great view to The Hazards. A lovely place to unwind and relax. We really enjoyed taking in the view and sampling the great record collection so generously available for use. We hope to stay again.

From the moment we arrived, The Lighthouse felt like home. Tucked up in the sand dunes, this private little house had everything we needed for our stay. It was incredibly peaceful, cosy, and the views across the water are beyond beautiful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We found that the location was excellent for visiting East Coast wineries and Wineglass Bay. After a day of exploring, The Lighthouse is the perfect place to enjoy some local wine, admire the sunset and maybe spot a wallaby or two hopping by. The kitchen was fully-equipped and very functional, and we loved the array of books and board games in the house. We absolutely loved our stay at The Lighthouse. We wished we never had to leave!

The location of this house is absolutely perfect! You get spectacular views from every angle of the house thanks to all of the windows, with many sliding glass doors which allows the ocean breeze to flow through. Beautiful sunrises & sunsets. Had a few wallabies roaming the yard which was really cute to see. This house is a must stay if you’re in the Freycinet area.

Beautiful property by the beach. Plenty of natural light, cozy & homely decor, well-equipped kitchen for home cooked meals, and a very comprehensive folder with suggestions for things to do in the area. We even had bonus sightings of wallabies hopping up to the property, and an amazing view of the stars on a clear night. Highly recommend Mick & Lisa’s home!

Anthony and Leeroy's space is lovely. So stylish and cozy. A basement unit that still feels airy and bright! The fresh bread was a lovely tough, as were the eggs. The garden was beautiful and I wish we had more time to enjoy it. As a basement unit it did have a bit of noise from movement upstairs but it didn't affect our stay. Thanks so much Anthony and Leeroy! Would definitely stay again!

We stayed overnight after finishing the Overland Track and before driving to Hobart . I couldn't have been happier with this absolutely wonderful little place in its gorgeous garden and with the attention to making our stay so homely. Fresh baked bread and eggs ! Would stay again and can recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Anthony’s place. The space was very stylish and clean. The garden is really peaceful and beautiful and they shared some of its produce with us. A highlight was that our little dog had a secure yard to play in and loved the company of Bam and August the two resident dogs. Check in was smooth and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the views. The cottage was well located, had plenty of extras (in the cupboard and fridge) and the kids loved picking the strawberries and blueberries in the garden. Would definitely stay again!

A lovely cottage well situated to walk down into the centre of Burnie. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Burnie and exploring that corner of Tassie. The house was immaculate and homely. The personal touches and detailed notes make this place one of the best. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Sarah's place is amazing. From the moment you step into the cottage, you know you are in for a real treat. The level of care and thought put into selecting each piece of furnishing is astounding. The cottage even smells good! We enjoyed having a stroll along the bay, feeding the ducks out front and chilling, gazing at the ever-changing weather outside through the large windows. The cottage even has it's own Spotify playlist to set the mood! Highly recommended!

very beautiful & unique

Coopers Ocean Cabin at Seymour was amazing. Beautifully decorated and well appointed with all you could want. Sitting on the deck over looking the ocean and watching rabbits, wombats and other wildlife was incredibly peaceful. The location was a pleasant 15 min drive into Bicheno.

Our stay at Julie and Kellie’s place was fabulous, they were fantastic communicators and had lots of thoughtful touches like wine, chocolate and fresh eggs to make our stay feel really special. Their property feels very private even though the main house is not far away. It’s quite close to the town of Bicheno which had some lovely seafood, great wineries such as Devils Corner and also Freycinet National park. The spa was such a treat each afternoon after along day of bush walks and exploring, we even saw a wombat while in the spa one night! We were only there for 3 nights but wish we had stayed longer, a truely relaxing getaway!

Coopers Cabin is a great space in beautiful location! It was a very wuiet and relaxing getaway. Local knowledge and suggestions on trail walks and beaches were provided and were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at Coopers Cabin!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the ocean cabin. Gorgeous views over the ocean and a stylish space to rest and relax for a few days. A complimentary bottle of local wine and fresh eggs for brekkie. The location is also good for exploring freycinet national park which is 1 hr drive away. Julie and Kelly were lovely hosts and have two cute pooches we got to hang out with as well as the chooks and rabbits. Highly recommend this air bnb!

The house and the decoration is very lovely and the bathroom is the best with a view and light wonderful. The climatisation of the house is not fine( thermal inertia ), very hot by day and cold by night, in spite of there is a air conditioning intne living room.

Excellent location in the Tamar Valley. Extremely comfortable apartment with beautiful views. Highly recommended. Stoney Rise and Marion’s Vineyards are a short drive away- both excellent choices for wine tasting.

We were in Ross for one night and Valeries place was just what we needed

There is parking space outside the house. The house is clean and fully equipped, and the response is very fast. We also prepared delicious apple pie for us to eat! Close to all attractions! Highly recommended!

Ross was a wonderful and interesting place to explore and the Stone Cottage Annexe was the perfect base. Clean, comfortable and abundant with yummy apple cake.

Great little place in the middle of Bicheno. Nice and quiet, very clean and really nicely styled.

A really bright and beautiful space right near the main centre of Bicheno. A short walk to some great breakfast spots and classic fish and chip places. Emelie was very quick to respond and had some great tips for places to check out in town. Make a point of stopping in to Bicheno, and stay here while you do!

We had an amazing stay at Emelie’s home in Bicheno. Location was excellent and only a short walk to the beach. It was exceptionally clean and the interior was well decorated. We would definitely stay again.

A 5 star experience! As someone who has never ever camped/glamped in their life, I was so impressed with the whole experience of staying at Bay of Fires Bush Retreat. This is a great 'glamping' experience. Beautifully clean with great amenities and small touches. It was slightly rainy and cold whilst we were there but remained very warm and 100% dry! Definitely recommend!

Ah-ma-zing space! So bright and open and welcoming. My husband and I started our honeymoon here and it was 100% the right choice. With The Berry Patch (Friday night pizza nights 👌🏼💕) a short walk around the corner and the freeway so close yet far enough to not hear the traffic - perfect!! The window nook in the dining area was our favourite! We spent our nights here playing card games and having tea. Highly recommend anyone looking for a base camp to explore Tasmania’s North West - this is it! 🎉 Plenty of storage space and is very kid friendly so great for families on holidays too.

Amanda's home is in a quiet hamlet in Tassie, a great spot for relaxing. We loved the home's architecture and thoughtful touches like magazines and games. Fast Wi-Fi and close to the beach.
