“7 minutes drive away is The Fox and Firkin, a British Pub set at the base of the Adelaide hills. Built in 1853 as a flour mill it is one of Tea Tree Gully’s oldest historical buildings. Set in a casual locale with exposed-stone walls and a beer garden, with a nice selection of beers on tap including many imported from the UK and good hearty meals to accompany them. Dining is available inside and outside in the beer garden. Both areas have fireplaces for the colder months. The beer garden has cooling misters for hot summer days. There is usually acoustic music on Saturday nights. A great ambience. Worth a visit. ”

“If you love to walk, hike, mountain bike, you will reallhy enjoy Anstey Hill Recreation Park. Great views of the CBD and surrounds to the sea, on the other side of the hill, you will see our beautiful range of hills. A number of tracks to choose from in terms of fitness and time. I love the Pink Gum track - go anti clockwise, I think it's a little kinder.....Dogs allowed on leashes, it took Diggadog and I about 1.15 hours, allowing time for sniffing, exploring and appreciating the view!”

“A little bit of England in Adelaide. This pub is right at the base of the Adelaide hills. They serve hearty English meals and have great beers on tap! When you step through the door you feel like you've just stepped into an old English pub. ”
