“Entopia began its journey with David Goh, a young teacher with interest and passion for butterflies. Simply inspired, he set out to establish a tropical butterfly farm as a tourist destination in Penang. In 1986, this self-taught entomologist, founded the tropical world’s first butterfly and insect sanctuary, known as the Penang Butterfly Farm. Over the years, Penang Butterfly Farm had been visited by more than 5 million local and international visitors, and it became the pride and joy of Penang. During its prime, it garnered many awards and was voted by visitors of TripAdvisor, acclaiming to be one of the best destinations in Penang.”

“Penang, this small island has a great theme park. They’re located at Teluk Bahang, the very end of Penang. ESCAPE Penang is a theme park filled with adventurous and challenging activities hosted in the natural environment. ESCAPE is the fun destination with exciting rides and games hosted in a natural environment. Stretching a whopping 1,140 meters (3,740 feet) long, the ride is now under construction at Penang's ESCAPE theme park and looks set to smash the record for "world's longest waterslide." ESCAPE re-introduces the play and values of yesteryear so to inject reality into a world overdependent on an isolation-inducing electronic lifestyle. Through fun activities, with an emphasis on self-directed and self-powered play, the visitor experiences Low Tech, High Fun. ESCAPE demonstrates there’s no age limit to having fun as the rides and games are designed for a wide range of age groups, abilities, and energy levels.”

“This is what some say the Bali of Indonesia, from beaches to forest, it gets wild at Escape, hot on the beach but cool and serene on the forest trails. There is Entopia, you shouldn't miss in the world as it house all the butterflies and insert you will never ever encounter so closely. Escape is for young at heart but it will be half day at least for either of this park. If you do not want 6 legged nor the trills of Escape, then take the trails to visit Monkey Beach, lazz on the beach all day...read a book...pick some shells, drink, eat, and remember to pick up the rubbish and take along with you. On the exit, there are some rubbish bins you can dispose of the rubbish. ”
