“ Villa Lante è una delle maggiori realizzazioni del Cinquecento italiano. Da ricordare in modo particolare la Fontana dei Mori del Giambologna, le due palazzine (Gambara e Montalto) e uno spettacolare sistema di fontane e giochi d’acqua oltre a un bel parco boschivo. Tutta la Villa (tra giardino all'italiana e parco) occupa una superficie di 22 ettari. Villa Lante is one of the greatest achievements of the Italian Cinquecento. “from Camp Joy Village is 10 km - The Dome of Orvieto is one of the most beautiful Italian cathedral, a masterpiece of the gothic architecture of the center of Italy. The magnificent building dominates the bluff up which Orvieto is located thanks to its size. The Dome has been built for three centuries by the work of dozens of experts and artists. In particular, the splendour of its facade is known all over the word, with its towers that reach a height of about 53 meters. Do not to forget the interior of the Dome, with wonderful decorations and frescoes made by some of the most great painters of the past, among which the famous Giudizio Universale of Luca Signorelli. Let's go to discover the history and the treasures of the Dome of Orvieto, a real symbol of the city.”

“Civita di Bagnoregio Civita was founded by Etruscans more than 2,500 years ago. Civita was the birthplace of Saint Bonaventure, who died in 1274. The location of his boyhood house has long since fallen off the edge of the cliff. By the 16th century, Civita was beginning to decline, becoming eclipsed by its former suburb Bagnoregio.”

City
“Civita di Bagnoregio, ad appena 30 minuti in macchina, chiamata anche "la città che muore" è senz'altro da visitare. Un piccolo paese posto nella valle dei calanchi collegata esclusivamente da un ponte pedonale. Quando c'è la nebbia, Civita sembra quasi sospesa in aria. Ideale sia per le famiglie che per le coppie che vogliono concedersi una giornata romantica.”

“ The Tower Bridge , 230 m long , symbol of the city : it was the most spectacular part of the aqueduct of Cortaccione of Roman origin . It is considered a Roman - Lombard building according to some , late medieval according to others , unique in its height of 82 m . The monument is covered by a delicate operation monitoring of the stress state of the walls . It is considered an anomaly at the time of its construction : in fact , rarely in the same era were built civil use of such grandeur . The work is celebrated by Goethe in his Italienische Reise . The place has become infamous in time for the occurrence of some incidents of suicide [ 5 ] . Extreme towards Monteluco is the small Mill Fortress , turreted building that for centuries has played a supervisory role on the bridge .”

“In 1527, in the day following the sacking of Rome, Pope Clement VII took refuge in Orvieto. To provision with water the Albornoz fortress in case of siege or conflict, this well was built, based on a plan of Antonio da Sangallo il Giovane. The St. Patrick well, completed in 1537, is 62 metres deep and, at the inside, two double-spiralled stairwells were made, planned for easier transportation of water.”

“Carsulae is an ancient Roman city. It takes 20 minutes to get to the site, from downtown. Here, it is possible to admire what remains of one of the most great and ancient civilization in history. The site is merged in the green of nature. You can step into sheep sometimes. Unfortunately, the streets are not so nice to reach the site but it worths a visit if you are in Terni. ”
