We can't say enough fabulous things about the Dixie Daisy- our only complaint is that we should have booked at least another night, if not two. The setting was idyllic and felt super secluded despite being so close to everything. From the little touches like farm fresh eggs from their "egg-centric" hens, to the gorgeous jewel of a hot tub, - we just couldn't get enough! We got to see a little snow, too (from the shelter of our heated bed). We will definitley be returning!

The place has a very quaint atmosphere and the quite surrounding helps you to unwind and the hot tub was a plus.

The little Airstream trailer takes you back to a more simpler time. The decor is so cute. The details of everything were great and definitely a unique experience!

I expected our stay to be great but great would be an understatement! Greg and Jen are incredible hosts. They leave recommendations, fresh coffee and eggs, and make the space incredible comfy and home-y! The property is beautiful and my wife and I couldn’t have had a better weekend!

This is a very clean cabin and a very nice hot tub with everything secluded and the hosts were nice enough to put eggs in the fridge fresh from they're farm. They also have a nice little creek running through the property.

This place was my perfect kind of getaway. Enough privacy to get away, but still close to local shopping and grocery store. The porch was so pleasant to sit and read in the rocking chairs. The hot tub at night is a must. Turn out all of the lights and look up to gaze at the stars. It was beautiful and had been a long time since I’d seen the stars that bright. Our Golden Retriever loved the stay as well. We took her to walk the trails at Blue Hole and look forward to swimming there in the summer. We had such a lovely trip here.

The tree house was absolutely amazing! Everything was so thoughtful - little chocolates on the bed, coffee pods, fire starters, toiletries. The location was great, the tiger sanctuary is just down the road and the caldwell zoo is 15 mins out. I loved how quiet and peaceful it was at night. We will definitely return!

We celebrated my husband 60’s birthday. We needed to just get away and unplugged and refresh. The tree house was exactly want we needed. Harlan was a great host and his dog Thang was a great tour guide of the property. The Tree house was very clean and cozy. The best part was sitting rocking on the porch listening to the wind going through the trees.

It was an amazing place to stay. Friendly owners. There wasn’t anything left out or undone or I thought of from the wine to the welcome note to the space. It was absolutely perfect. Will definitely return to this space many times. It’s like a little piece of heaven in earth. Thank you guys for the amazing stay.

Bill's space is in an upscale quiet neighbourhood a short walk from Congress Ave. The space is very stylish and the heated pool is so pretty. Bill also gave us some great dining recommendations. Will highly recommend to friends!

Your stay at the Hideaway will be fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed Bill's attention to detail and the stunning decor in this home. The pool is a wonderful amenity so please take advantage of it. The location is great - easy access to restaurants and bars and close to airport. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Austin and hopefully I'll be able to come back again.

My wife and I came to Fredricksburg to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I can't say enough great things about our stay at Mary's place! If you're planning to stay in Fredricksburg, try your best to stay here. Very private, close to main street, 25 minutes from enchanted rock (an incredibly scenic drive), and an incredible morning view filled with deer. There are so many great places within 5 minutes. We had such a great time, we ended up booking an extra day. Our 2 pups loved everything as well. We Can't wait to come back!

Such a lovely little tuck away spot for a quiet visit to Waco. Such creative and stylish use of space! The kitchen was stocked with good quality tools that made it easy to create real meals!! Loved the little outdoor space and table for evenings outside.

Great space, perfect for a getaway.

I’m not one for words, especially when I’m left speechless, thanks to an amazing experience such as the one we had staying here. We got in a little later than expected. Check in was smooth and easy. The first thing we noticed - the home was immaculate. Then we see a cute little personal note, INSTANTLY making us feel at home (as a matter of fact, everyday we were out and about, when we we’re done with our day, we’d catch each other saying “Lets go home”). We felt comfortable in no time. Again, everything in the home was immaculate. Fresh linens. Fresh towels. Clean kitchen. Spotless bathroom. The whole nine yards. Extremely comfortable. The place was clean, cozy, intimate, private, and perfect. We loved a it and can’t wait to be back. With just a short little drive to all the Magnolia attractions and other cool little spots, this is the place to stay to make the experience that much better. Whoever stays here WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Guys, thank you. Til next time :-)

This Airbnb is phenomenal! My husband and I chose it for a quick 24 hr getaway and we wish we would have booked it for longer! WOW! The Birdhouse is stunning, the location was peaceful and Glen Rose is adorable! I think our favorite part was standing out on the balcony looking at the Texas night sky and the millions of stars you could see for miles. It was exactly what we needed and such a great value for what you get! We WILL be back!

This is a fabulous place for quiet reflection and staying in. It is small and cozy! The view is fantastic and the amenities are so much better than I expected! If you want to explore, however, there is plenty to do in that regard! Go! You’ll be glad you did.

Pictures do not do it justice. Even with the main house being fairly close by, they give you the option of privacy if you so choose. Perfect little getaway & sweetest Pups ever!

Great little place for a great price! Stefan is a great host and we felt very welcomed and taken care of! Really quiet location that's tucked out of the way. It seems a little sketchy at first but I wouldn't worry about the location. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable. The shower temperature was a little low and it was hard not to get water all over the bathroom, but it wasn't too big of an issue. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great place to stay close to downtown! (Cheap Uber ride too!) The host was very hospitable, he has a very nice tenant next door that came over to introduce herself, wished me a happy birthday and offered to help if we needed anything. We didn’t see much of her after that, and we appreciated the privacy with also knowing there was someone close by to help if we needed anything. Definitely recommend and would stay at this location again!

Very very clean and awesome to see in person after seeing the story of how it was built on tv! it was very centrally located for Magnolia, Baylor and Downtown Waco. They are great hosts and quick to respond if you need anything.

This was such a cool experience! I wished I could have stayed here longer than one night. Loved everything about the house and the location of it. You can walk to the Silos! The hosts were also quick to respond when I had questions for them. Super sweet couple!

The nest is spectacular. It has everything you need and is quite magical. It’s quiet and peaceful and brings you back to nature. It’s close to fossil rim and dinosaur valley and downtown glen rose and so much more. I can’t wait until we can return.

The Nest is like something out of a movie. Such a relaxing space with the privacy needed for a great getaway. All the amenities you need to tuck yourself away for the weekend or explore Glen Rose and the surrounding area with great local recommendations from Kristin and Yvan. Can't wait to come back to the Nest or stay in one of the other Skybox Cabins!

The Tiny House is very cozy & trendy. The bed was sooo comfortable making it hard to start my days :) Anna & Chad were very thoughtful and communicated well & quickly. It was easy to get in and out of the Tiny House. My fur babies also enjoyed staying there. Will definitely stay there again.

I am so happy to have found this jewel of a place to stay when I need it. The overall feeling was one of comfort, simplicity, cool character, and thoughtfulness - can't think of one thing that I needed - they thought of it all. Very private yet homey, especially since you can hear the 2 chickens for a few minutes in the mornings - I loved that. I met Chad and his 2 children and dogs, and had a great conversation about Air BnB. Everything was spotless, and instructions were clear. I look forward to returning!

This place has it all! It is in the middle of the woods in a gorgeous neighborhood. It is a short drive from Emma Long park, which has beautiful scenery and excellent trails. The home literally has everything you could want and of high quality - the cookware was actually excellent Calphalon. The place was spotless. Can’t say enough good things about the home!

We had a wonderful time at Jon-Marc and Gigi’s. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the cottage itself is out of this world. It was very easy for us to relax there, which is exactly what we needed for our getaway. Would definitely recommend to other travelers!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with the space that Jon-Marc and Gigi provided. It was cute, comfortable, quiet, and the surrounding area was just lovely - a great neighborhood to take a walk in! We also loved how private it felt - even with the hosts living in the same property - the cottage (and driveway) was separate and the surrounding trees made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. All in all, a fantastic experience!

My partner and I booked this place for one reason: to carve out a little peace and quiet on the cusp of the new year. Jon-Marc & Gigi's home's not only met that need, it exceeded it. The photos speak well to the design of the space—which is really, really beautifully done—but not to how cozy it is, nor how remote it feels despite being an easy drive into Austin proper. My recommendation: book this property for at least a few nights. You cat at Fonda San Miguel your first night and then buy groceries to cook or grill on the second night. When you're not eating, you can be forgiven for otherwise staying in and enjoying the amenities while taking in the silence of the woods all around you. (Speaking of amenities, the mattress is wonderful, the heated toilet seat is life-changing, the kitchen and grill and Nespresso machine are greatly appreciated.) This was a seriously wonderful way to spend the last few days of 2019. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location of this cottage made it possible for us to get away from the busy lifestyle of the city without having to be far away from civilization. This place exceeded my expectations and the hidden features are proof that Jon-Marc and Gigi are excellent hosts.

We had a fantastic stay. The cabin was cozy and comfortable in a beautiful setting. We liked that it was a short drive to catch our flight at Dallas/Love Field airport.

It is a quiet get away right in the middle of the big city. Technically the Cabin is in the guys backyard but it's soo spacious you don't really notice it too much. The cabin feels very authentic, like something right out of the 1800's, with some modern touches.

Grady was a wonderful host, very helpful when locating the place! Beautiful home, super cozy! 10/10 would recommend!

Staying in this adorable tiny home was a great experience! We stayed in the smallest option with the murphy bed, and I was a little worried about the comfort level of the bed, but it was soooo comfortable. The entire home was decorated perfectly, down to every detail. Even the shower soap was hand crafted and locally made. The hosts were incredibly kind in their messages, and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was a quick, easy drive down to Waco and the Silos. The Heritage Homestead right down the road was a pleasant surprise as well, and I highly recommend going to check that out! We spent a couple hours there. We had a phenomenal experience, and if we are ever back in this area, we will definitely try this out again.

Such a great find! Super close to downtown Waco and the Silos. Very quaint! Tiny for sure but every inch of space was used appropriately. Happened to stay on a very chilly Texas night (32 degrees!) and the heating/cooling unit kept us nice and warm. Had a minor fluke with the shower which was resolved within 20 minutes from my first call to the owners. Very impressed with their quick and professional response. The gentleman that came over to solve the problem also was very professional and friendly! Definitely hope to stay here again :) don’t miss out on the opportunity to stay in this unique place!

This tiny house was a great experience. It is great for one or two travelers. Joel decorated the place very well too! It had a very unique vibe to it that fit right into the Austin scene. It’s located about a 10 minute uber ride from downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

For any solo traveler or couple wanting a unique experience, book Joel's place now. We met Joel upon arriving, and his hospitality and welcome was unmatched. It is tucked away, so you can enjoy the privacy, but you are a short drive to whatever Austin has to offer. Highly recommend it!

Joel’s tiny house was the perfect little adventure. Every nook & cranny was well thought out & the enjoyment of being in a tiny home made us not want to leave. If you’ve ever wanted to try tiny living, this is the perfect place to feel at home and experiment with the lifestyle. The loft bedroom and the beauty of the tiny bathroom were our favorite parts.

Casita Cove was wonderful! Great communication with the host that set us up for a relaxing time in a quiet community. We will definitely check out the place once the weather gets warmer to fully experience what they are all about. Would recommend highly!

Our best Airbnb experience to date! Not only is the place gorgeous, it is comfortable, cozy and convenient! Besides the little surprise touches, I've never seen such explicit instructions--even a diagram about how to open and close the little computer table! Communication was warm and quick. Two days of rain and cool temperatures didn't diminish the enjoyment. It was a little paradise. Thank you again and again!

Great time and beautiful space!

The apartment is great. It’s the perfect retreat, with views over the lake from the private covered balcony. Nicole had prepared it thoughtfully. As for “things to do”, why would you want to leave the island with this peace and tranquillity? There are nice walking opportunities in the company of the deer on the peninsula, and on the island itself the gym was great. Didn’t try the tennis courts or the swimming pools but they’re there. Although Nicole left a list of possibilities, we concluded that our preferences for local shops and restaurants either didn’t exist, had limited opening hours or didn’t appeal so we did leave the island and went to Cedar Park about 20 miles away which has all the main outlets including a number of H-E-B supermarkets and an 85C Bakery café which we like. While out, we visited Georgetown, a really nice historic town with a lovely square and many eateries including a fantastic diner called the Monument Café. Lunch at the Dahlia café in Liberty Hill was sensational. We also very much enjoyed spending a half day on the Warbler vista trails in the Balcones National Wildlife Refuge which Nicole had recommended in her comprehensive guest guidebook.

This place was sparkling clean and in the perfect location. Check in was super easy and I loved seeing deer every day in the yard. Can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful place to stay within walking distance of the lake. The trail to the lake is very clearly marked and is visible at night so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. We had 3 people stay which was about perfect for the size. Great hosts with good tips about things to do in the area.

We had such a great time at this perfect tiny home. It was everything we could have wanted for a relaxing weekend getaway. We spent the weekend exploring the town, hiking the trails, and trying out the local restaurants. When we got back from our exploring we relaxed in the hot tub and made s’mores by the fire outside. We would love to come back here soon! :)

Tiny but everything you need. It was a nice quiet retreat. It might be small, but it's got everything you'll need. Unfortunately it was pretty chilly and we so we didn't spend as much time outside as we normally would. But the doors to the little balcony had a great view and the sound of the rain on the roof in the evening was soothing. They're building another little place up the hill, and we're hopeful it'll show up too book in the future. Our hosts were friendly, out of the way but quickly available for any questions, and their taste is impeccable. The place was comfortable, uncluttered but stylish. We will return when there is sun and we can explore!

The entire experience from end to end was phenomenal! Kenneth and Amanda have anticipated every possible need or question and have it covered. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything you could need or want.

From the get-go, Kenneth and Amanda were so pleasant and quick to respond to any of our questions and requests. The home itself was immaculate when we arrived and so cute! We were provided an easy to follow manual and QR codes all around the house so we really didn’t have too many questions for them while we were there. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to all the attractions and the area was nice and quiet. We definitely will come back and stay again!

It’s been a dream of mine to stay in a tiny house for forever! As well as visiting Magnolia- so this trip was a two for one! This house is INCREDIBLE. It’s so clean so cozy and tastefully decorated, once we checked in and went back out to adventure and I could only think about getting back here to relax! The hosts are top notch. This is THE best communication I have ever had and attention to detail from the hosts. Don’t wait-book this location now. You will not regret it!

I really appreciate the kind and quick help when I had questions. The thoughtful touches - my favorite Yogi tea, simple breakfast items (cereal, milk, good coffee) were great additions. I really appreciate having a hair dryer and toiletries available. French press for coffee? Bonus points for the host!! I love the neighborhood and eclectic, diverse, artsy experience. I loved the easy access to information about local places to visit in the neighborhood. Directions were simple. Place is sparkling clean and the bed is super-comfy. Five stars for Jake, Janice and other hosts here. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic. My wife and i stayed here while exploring Austin for a few days and so glad we did. The house itself has anything you’d need to make your stay comfortable with plenty of outside space for lounging. The location is really ideal, with some of the East sides best restaurants, bars, and shops a short walk. We will def be staying here next time we’re in town

Trevor’s Dome is phenomenal! I’ve never felt so at home in a place that by most accounts should feel like the wilderness. It was an awe inspiring experience that will linger in my memories for a lifetime. The beauty out there can only be understood first hand. There are no words... Just go! The Domes living conditions are ample, you have everything that you need to be safe and take care of yourself minus food (obviously) so bring food. The Dome’s location is perfect not to far from the park, but just far enough from civilization for that true off-grid experience. The only thing you need to prepare yourself for is the toilet and shower situation but as long as you don’t mind driving there are places to shower within 15 minutes of the dome, and they’re not hard to find, but I actually enjoyed the feeling of air drying after a cold bag shower in the desert! If you have a little dog fight in you, and you can handle it, it’s actually super refreshing when you dry! (even though I couldn’t feel my feet afterwards haha.) Ultimately what it comes down to is The Dome is an incredible experience for anyone willing to put them selves out there a little bit, and it’s not by much, I promise, you get back so much more than you give out there.. It changes you for the better. This trip will re-balance your soul, and bring you back to center. It is the ultimate peace. So don’t think too much about it, just do it, it’s worth so it.

The room was immaculate, the directions to get there were perfect, the personal touch of communication was great as well. We had a seamless experience at the dome and cannot recommend it enough. The sky was beautiful, the room was warm in the colder month we attended in, the amenities were all very useful and it really felt like every need was accounted for! Just make sure if you're reading this and it sells you on going to respect the property and the environment you'll be visiting! It's too beautiful not to!

Cute unique little get away. Easy for my small small to get to on the off road. Not hard to find either. Dirt roads were safe for my tires. Go back the same way you came from when going to park. Google maps will take you about 1.5 m rougher way to the park. Saw Trevor's note about it later lol. The dome was warm and cozy with the heater. Cooked food that I brought. Just kept my cold items in an ice chest as the fridge is not as cold bc it is solar powered. I had an awesome stay! Felt safe and excluded, didnt see any snakes or spiders, didnt hear coyotes. Just a few months, nothing I cant handle (: would recommend to others.

The Dome was truly an experience! We unfortunately didn’t get to spend too much time in the dome aside from sleeping, but it was wonderful when we were there! The view of the night sky will leave you in awe, while the coziness inside will make you want to stay forever. Will be back!

Lovely little cabin! Plenty of things to do even if you have to stay indoors most the time because of thunderstorms. In fact, the rain made it an even more special romantic getaway! Friendly hosts and neighbors. PS If you have some time, go check out the Tiger Creek Wildlife Sanctuary 25 minutes away. It’s definitely worth the drive!

I just have to say, this stay was everything we were hoping for!!! It’s the perfect size two person log cabin. A perfect getaway 💕 secluded and safe, very charming and fun!!! We will definitely come back.

This place is beautiful! Perfectly set up for a couples weekend away! My husband and I had a lovely time here before the run the rose race and it was the perfect place to relax! There are towels, nice shower, and SUPER COMFY BED! OMG I cannot say enough about this location,but seriously that mattress is to die for. You just MELT. A wonderful place to stay! Ben was very accommodating of our needs as we were traveling with our 6 month old baby. His place was spacious and well equipped. He provided us with both a bassinet and pack and play that fit easily in the space. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to interesting bars and restaurants, as well as Ladybird Trail. I would highly recommend staying here as a couple or as a family!

This home was clean and just the right size for the three of us. My family enjoyed the close parking and all the coffee options provided. It is located near the silo district of Waco and we were able to beat the rush at Magnolia bakery!

The Dutch Door in Waco was exactly what we were hoping for! It was the perfect spot for a long weekend of enjoying all things Magnolia. Myself and a friend stayed there. While there is not a true door separating the bedroom from the futon, we had plenty of space for the two of us. It was a great place to unwind at the end of a day of eating, exploring, and shopping. Having a keurig was a great bonus in the morning, as was having a fridge for a few leftovers and snacks. The bathroom was nice and clean. The neighborhood is a quick drive to magnolia table and to the silos. We loved spending lots of time at both. Our other local favorites were Fabled Bookstore, Revival Eatery, and Hecho in Waco. The pull out couch is a little hard, but totally fine for a few nights of sleep. The bedroom is super adorable!! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and it was perfect for a girls weekend away!

Autumne was awesome! She gets back to you lightning quick and was flexible with us! We stayed at their guest house for a girls trip and it was so cozy and perfect! Exactly what we needed. The decor was fantastic also! Great touches! Would love to stay here again!

I lived here for 3 months for a school internship, and I believe I have been their longest staying guest. I loved every part of my stay and getting to know everyone and the area. The camper is cozy and cute and has everything you need. The porch is really nice to hang out on, and the hot tub is wonderful as well. Everyone was super helpful and nice, and if I ever needed anything, they always took care of me. I became friend's with their son and we would hang out often. I would always recommend the camper to anyone and get the wonderful experience that I had here. It was a truly special place to get to spend a few months at.

The glamper was a wonderful weekend getaway and the perfect place to chill after geocaching all day. Mary Beth provided everything we could need and more for our stay and made us feel at home. The glamper and hot tub were also super clean. The location was great and in a cute neighborhood. We were able to walk to restaurants about a mile away and drive around easily. Definitely recommend and would come back in a heart beat!

MB and Don definitely deserve their superhost status. The space was excellent with quite a few artistic and humorous little touches. They also had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area and we had a fantastic weekend hanging out in the neighborhood.

Donna's place was wonderful! Really one of the most well-appointed places we've stayed. So many thoughtful details, and notes around the place. The bed was excellent! It was also very quiet and dark at night (great for sleeping!), but your path in and out is very well lit! SO many little extras, I think if there were something someone may have forgotten, Donna had it covered! The area of town is very beautiful, and was very close to the entertainment we came to Houston for.

We travel frequently to Houston and this is our new favorite place. It is in a great location, stylishly furnished, spacious and sparkling. Donna is a great communicator and super host. We hope to find Donna's place available again for future trips!

This is a charming place, very roomy for one, probably comfortable for two. There’s even a twin bed in an alcove if you want to snuggle up with three. It’s clean; the bed is comfy, and Donna was super friendly and accommodating.

This chic cottage is artfully decorated and is in such a great location— just a walk, scooter, or bike ride away to South Congress shops and restaurants. Our host, Chris, was super friendly and full of suggestions for things to see and places to go. He gave us a local’s perspective during an impromptu tour of the area. And what made the experience even better? His goat, Pumpkin, and two pups. :)

We loved our six night stay at Chris’s place. Chris was an amazing host who responded quickly to our inquiries, gave us great local tips and even helped us secure a cheaper rate on our local rental car. He helped us get settled in with a tour of the neighborhood and fridge stocked with cold beverages. It was a great welcome to Austin. Chris’s place was well appointed with amazing touches and decoration throughout. He also had thoughtful touches like not only providing coffee and sugar, but cream as well so we didn't need to run to the store for basics. The front porch was great for relaxing at the end of the day, and it really did feel like our little Austin oasis. Bed, pillows, towels and blankets all comfy and lovely to use. The location can’t be beat. Walking distance to breweries, restaurants and shops, and we loved the breakfast taco foodtruck a block away. South Congress Avenue is only a few short blocks away, but the street location was quiet. Bonus was Pumpkin the goat. We would stay here again and highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Chris’ place was perfect! Unfortunately I only had one day to chill in Austin and this place was ideal. Super cute decor. Easy entry. Perfect parking for my SUV right out front. Walked to get tacos at Torchy’s. Crazy cool Topo Chico fridge! Chris was very nice and personally welcomed me. Swapped stories about neighborhoods in Houston (my home). Slept like a king ~ very quiet at night. I can’t wait to be back - huge thanks Chris!

Anne's home is truly delightful. An experience not to be missed. Constructed largely from concrete glass and metal, it has a distinctly European feel and a sense of permanence that is often missing from typical wood-framed structures. The home is complete with all facilities required for any length of stay, including a firm bed, which is sadly rare in most homes.

Anne’s guest house could be considered a medium sized tiny house. Very modern and unique in design, but more spacious than what comes to mind when you think “tiny house”. It was an absolute pleasure. Very clean, extremely pleasant and very close to downtown Houston.

Anne’s place is awesome. Described perfectly but a lot more little surprises once you actually explore the space. The bed was comfy, space was generally clean and host was responsive. Would definitely book here again!

This little cabin was such a great stay! The owners thought of every single detail in the cabin and it makes you feel like you just time traveled for your vacation! The hot tub was so great for the weather we had (wet and freezing) and the outside shower was convenient for the rinse off before/after the hot tub. My girl’s favorite room was definitely the bathroom. It was beautiful, peaceful and every detail in that bathroom just made the room. That bathtub was just so elegant. Couldn’t help but draw a nice warm bubble bath.

This beautiful cabin nestled in the woods provides privacy and a great outdoors feeling without being too far from the main town and shopping centers if needed. Great experience; will definitely come back!

The cabin is exactly as it appears in pictures - immaculate and full of fun surprises. Very close to town but still very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay at another one of Jennifer and Gregory's rentals in the future.

This was exactly as cute as pictured. We loved sitting on the front porch, slept very well in the comfy bed, and all of the thoughtful finishing touches made it a unique and memorable stay.

This is a gem. Set back off the road in the peace and quiet, we enjoyed waking up to deer grazing in the yard. Our dog loved roaming the property, and we were just a short drive into downtown Wimberley which offered more than we expected. Lots of great walking and hiking nearby, and only an hour from Austin, San Antonio, and some of the best Texas wineries. The hosts were quick to respond and fix a very minor tv issue, though we were too busy exploring to really bother with it anyway. We loved our stay here and hope to come back in the future.

Everything about Jennifer and Gregory’s space was very picturesque. I enjoyed the intentional details as well as the claw foot bath tub. Wimberley is such a cute, quaint town. Can’t wait to re-visit.

Unique, cozy and quirky place to get away

Jennifer and Gregory’s cabin was perfect for our birthday and Christmas getaway. The cabin is tucked away in trees off a gravel road and gives you enough privacy to feel secluded without actually being away from town. Space is limited which is perfect for two people, but with that being said don’t over pack. I was able to cook a nice steak dinner with some sides in the kitchen and breakfast every morning and didn’t mind that there isn’t a microwave. Bring your own spices if you would like more than salt and pepper (we did fine with just that). The cabin was fairly quiet and we did get to enjoy a fire inside the cabin with some of the wood that was supplied. The hot tub was clean and the lights helped set the scene which made for relaxing nights outside. I didn’t get to use the outside shower but the tub worked great and my 6’2 husband fit in there with no problem. You can tell they put in a lot of thought into every detail inside the cabin. It was wonderful stay and I would recommend anyone looking at the cabin to book it!

This stylish tin can supplies an amazing view of the stars at night as well as an amazing host who offers plenty to do during your stay. The views were great, the animals were adorable, the spot was sweet!

Adorable and unique place to stay off the beaten path. If quiet and solitude is your thing, stay here! The pet donkey welcomes you no matter when you arrive and when you wake up. The many friendly cats running and playing around the area is fun and entertaining too! The airstream itself is super cute, clean and comfy! Ronda has all you need for glamping! The claw foot tub, bidet, wooden divider for privacy, all kitchen essentials, outdoor firepit, a deck with table and chairs, plenty of plugs, WiFi, fresh ground delicious coffee, very comfortable beds (daybed and pullout), and even skylights to look at the billions of stars while you lie in bed! Our favorite part was the rock painting. Ronda provides the paint and you choose any rock on the grounds to literally leave your mark. Lots of fun and ultra creative! Ronda communicates better than anyone I’ve ever seen. Lightening fast responses to questions any time of day or night before and during your stay. She gives fabulous suggestions from where to eat to activities. This area has so much to do! Plan to stay a week to appreciate all it has to offer. Hike her hills, explore Big Bend on foot, by water or on horseback! She even has a marksman on staff so you can shoot! Our strong recommendations: Get and bring your passport. You’re too close to the border to not take in Mexico and their fine goods. Print out the directions to the camp and use them! You’ll really need them if traveling at night! Bring a lot of bottled water. You can use the water in the desert but you won’t want to drink it! Bring moisturizer. The camper has electric heat which keeps it nice and warm but tends to dry out the skin. Eat breakfast at the coffee shop in the Ghost Town. Along with the outstanding coffees and lattes, they have authentic, delicious Mexican food. Get the burritos! Bring a snack to feed Sampson, the donkey!

If you are looking for a unique spot off the beaten path to relax, this is the place. Ronda was amazingly thorough and thoughtful in giving directions, suggestions and hospitality to us during our stay. The property is well kept and a beautiful bohemian getaway in the desert. Thanks again!!!

What a fun place to stay when visiting Big Bend! The space was so unique and fun! The stars were amazing! And it was so easy to get to and from Big Bend and Terlingua. The views from the front sitting area are enough to bring us back again.

This is such a unique place that I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It's definitely off the beaten path and that's what you want for that area. Each lodging is so unique and has so much character. I wished we could have stayed a few more days, being photographers and all. Check it out if you happen to be in the Big Bend area.
