Park
“ Located in the center of the city, just a few steps from the banks of the Bega River, Rozelor Park is another famous attraction of Timişoara. In fact, it could be said that the fame of Timisoara as a city of parks or a city of roses is largely due to this park. Arranged in 1928, the Roses Park has changed many names, faces and surfaces. Today, the only thing that has in common with the old rosary known abroad and countries is the number of varieties of roses, over 1200. Timişoara celebrates since 2009, "Rose Day", every last Thursday of May.”

Pedestrian Plaza
“This square is a great place to hang out and visit within the old town. With the Opera house one end and the cathedral its opposite it is more like a regal boulevard than a square. Victory Square has on one side Timisoara Orthodox Cathedral and on the opposite side the Opera House, the Romanian, Hungarian and German Theatres. In between are many pubs and terraces, from Gelateria Bruno to Timisoreana Restaurants. A good place to drink a beer or a coffee or to eat an icecream during summer time. In the evenings are a lot of concerts.”

Entertainment
“The Romanian National Opera, Timișoara (Romanian: Opera Națională Română din Timișoara) is a public opera and ballet institution in Timișoara, Romania. The Opera shares the same building with the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre in Timișoara. On April 20, 1880 the building is devastated by the first fire. The reconstruction, completed in 1882, keeps the original Renaissance style of the façade. After the second fire, which takes place in 1920, only the lateral wings remain intact. The reconstruction of the building begins on July 15, 1923, by architect Duiliu Marcu. On December 20, 1989, during the Romanian Revolution, a crowd of 40,000 gathered in the open space in front of the opera house.”
