“This food stall has picture menus. It's easy to order. They have vegetarian options too. Gohei Mochi (五平餅) is a pounded white rice skewered in a wooden flat stick, flavored with miso paste and aromatically cooked over a flame. Choose one of the four flavors: bean-made miso (mame miso: 豆みそ), barley-made miso (mugi miso: 麦みそ), soy sauce (shoyu: しょうゆ), or spicy (pirikara: ピリ辛). They also serve many other small bites and drinks and sell small handmade gifts.”

“You can make a ceramic base, pot, dish...anything you want! Seto is very famous place with ceramic stuff, this public museum has the very reasonable price for making it. ( N.B. it takes 2 weeks to receive what you make )”

Restaurant
“Kawaguchi Yana (川口やな): Ayu (local river fish) restaurant next to the traditional fishing weir called "yana". The history of Kawaguchi Yana dates back as far as 1691. (Open daily until 7pm during May-Oct fishing season). If you take Fujioka Bus, you can get off at Kami Kawaguchi (上川口) near this restaurant on the way back to Kamobashi Shimo (加茂橋下). Please read "Restaurant Guide" for my English translation of the menu.”
