“It's a coffee house, and the place to go in the DC area to hear the singer-songwriter types in an intimate venue. If you are interested in this, make sure I put you in touch with my co-worker Greg. He goes to over 100 music concerts a year and knows everyone at Jammin Java. ”

“French bakery and patisserie with scrumptious classics like croque-monsieur, macarons, and pain au chocolate. Great casual brunch, this self-seating spot gets packed so be ready to wait for a seat. ”

“If you’re looking for a true coffeehouse experience, this is your closest bet. This place is somewhat new, so I’ve only been a couple times. The coffee is good and the breakfast sandwiches fair. I need to go a few more times to be able to give solid recommendations. If you go, please share your experience so we can help future guests! Free parking and free WIFI.”

“This Starbucks is right next door in the Harris Teeter. There’s seating and free WIFI, but not the best coffeehouse ambiance if you’re looking to hang out for a bit. On a budget? Grab the Harris Teeter pastries/muffins/donuts (way cheaper) and pay for them when you order your drink at the Starbucks counter.”
