Church
“One of the city’s most famous landmarks, St. Anne’s has a history that starts with the alleged construction in the 14th century of a wooden house of worship on this spot in honour of Ona, the wife of Vytautas the Great.”

Scenic Viewpoint
“Explore Kalnų Park to find the footpath that leads up the hill of the Three Crosses. Climb the well-worn wooden stairs until you reach the grassy clearing on the hilltop. You’ll see the stark-white concrete crosses rising up from the grass. This monument was built in 1989 to replace the crosses that were torn down by Soviet authorities in 1950. The Three Crosses monument stands on a platform, from which you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding cityscape and the other six hilltops around Vilnius. Try to spot the tall spires of St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church, the distinctive white bell tower of Vilnius Cathedral and Gediminas Tower on Castle Hill directly to the west. Visit the Three Crosses in the late afternoon to watch a breathtaking sunset. The Three Crosses are located on a prominent hill in Kalnų Park. The park is east of Vilnius’ Old Town. The ascent up the hill is steep in parts and takes about 20 minutes. Visit the monument for free at any time of the day.”

“This hill likes crosses – the first was built in the 17th century to commemorate monks martyred in the 14th century. Today, three giant crosses built in 1989 to replace the ones that were destroyed under Soviet rule, sit at the top of the hill. It's a great place to enjoy a view of the city.”

“Sweet root serves local cuisine inspired by the seasons of the year. A tasting dinner of Sweet Root comprises seven dishes and seven one-bite “stories”. Price – EUR 65 per person. The dinner lasts about 3 hours. This place is perfect for those who like perfectionist minimalism and want to learn about a non-traditional local cuisine.”

“Užupis is probably the most mystical and unusual neighborhood in Vilnius, east of the Old Town. It is often said that this place is a state within a state. Užupis began to develop as a residential neighborhood as far back as the 16th century, when bridges over the Vilnelė River were built. For a long time, most people in the area were Jewish, but many left the area during the Holocaust. 20th century In the middle of the 19th century, new quarters of artists' flats and workshops were built in the upper part of the district, and in the lower part near the Sereikiškės Park, the Vilnius Academy of Arts was established. The area has been proclaimed by the expanding community of art people as the Independent Republic of Uzupis with a separate government, constitution, tradition, celebration and even sheriff. So Užupis has long been known as the Bohemian area of artists, and is compared to Montmartre in Paris and Christiania in Copenhagen.”

“It's probably the most popular place to hang out for Užupio locals, artists and travellers. If there's nice weather during your stay you should definitely come here and enjoy the outdoor terrace right on the banks of the river Vilnelė.”
