Neighbourhood
“Packed with lots to do! If you like upscale shopping there are tons of shops like Stanley Kordsk. Has some of the best restaurants in the world. There are a plethora of bars/clubs that are close enough to uber to, but far enough away not to disrupt your stay in anyway. Several beautiful parks and patios. There is a dog park and several grooming salons/dog daycares near by. The Katy Trial and public tennis courts are availale for all to use. Tons of artsy museums and shops. ”

Indie Cinema
“($5ish Uber ride) My 2nd favorite pick, and a good option if you want to walk around Uptown, one of Dallas' trendier neighborhoods. They show a combination of blockbuster and indie films. Comfortable seats and you can bring in a bottle of wine from the bar to go with your popcorn. Tons of restaurants and boutique shops right next door.”

“Parliament is still to this day our favorite Happy Hour spot in town. Located in the State & Thomas part of Uptown, Parliament has great craft cocktails that are criminally cheap during HH (M- Saturday 5-8 PM and all day when it rains). Space is on the tighter side, but well worth it. ”
