Our 2024/25 extensively and energetically renovated bungalow is located on a 1000 m² sunny clearing in the forest and holiday area of Uelsen, surrounded by birches, pines and oaks. Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

In the beautiful Twente landscape in the middle of the Springendal nature reserve, a stone's throw from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum, lies the Hoeve Springendal estate. You have one of the ten apartments that is fully, attractively and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments is furnished for four people. In our old granary, you can have a nice breakfast or lunch, we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a local special beer.

The border to Germany is marked with ancient border stones and at the end of the road.
