“A great spot for a quick breakfast and lunch, and within walking distance too! This is a mom and pop shop serving up some delicious Central-American style pastries and baked goods for a grab and go breakfast, and also made-to-order sandwiches for a midday meal. It's quickly become one of my favorite local food stops. ”

“Another must in LA is a mani-pedi. You can do both for around $25 total! This place is my favorite. Also they have the bast inexpensive waxer in town from brows to brazilians!”

Meal Takeaway
“Affectionately also known as “Parking Lot Pizza,” this guy named Elio showed up one day in the summer of 2019 and started slinging some of the tastiest wood fire pizza I’ve ever had in the parking lot of the liquor store on Sunset between Benton and Coronado. At that time, the oven was placed on the flatbed of his pickup! Just goes to show that good food can happen anywhere. His operation has expanded a bit since then (he has people working with him now and tables setup so you can eat right there), but the taste is still fresh and delicious. Prices start at $10, but be sure to bring cash.”

“On this corner is a big spinning sign. One side is Happy Foot and other side is Sad Foot... neighborhood lore says which side faces you in the morning (before it spins) ...that is how your day is!”
