“Sidie Hollow County Park is 521 scenic acres, including a 40-acre lake formed as part of a flood control dam. In 2006, Vernon Trails entered into a strong relationship with Vernon County Parks and immediately implemented the design and development of a shared-use, natural surface trail system. Vernon Trails has continued to improve, maintain, and add to these trails that surround the lake, trout streams, and campgrounds. Sidie Hollow’s trails are perfect for hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, nordic skiing, and mountain biking.”

“Great place for 4-6 mile hikes. Bridges at water crossings. Horses do use the park so be aware of that and say hello as soon as you see them.”

“Better known as Rockbridge Park, this is a fantastic small park. The West Fork of the Pine River flows through a rock cliff, with an enchanting hiking trail running along the clifftop, and then up and down stairs at either end. Don't miss the tunnel that was blasted through the cliff. There's also a small playground.”
