“Urimbirra Wildlife Park, is just a two minute drive away from your accommodation. It is a wonderful, family-friendly park that you can experience, feeding koalas, get up close and personal with kangaroos and their gorgeous joeys! There is a rainbow lorikeet enclosure that you can enter and the beautiful lorikeets will land on you and greet you! There are lamas, sheep, goats, chickens, guinea pigs, echidnas, wombats, crocodiles, dingos and even snakes and nocturnal animals to view and marvel at our incredible Australian wildlife. Cheryl, the owner of the park, is very warm and friendly and is a wealth of information, should you want to know something about any species kept there. There are many picnic areas to sit and a cafe on the premises. There’s even a playground for children to play. A wonderful place that I would certainly recommend you visit.”
