“The best place to buy your linen, souvenirs. Large main square with a beautiful church, many markets and events throughout the year, especially Christmas. Large harbour front, and ferry to nearby Spain taking 15 mins to Ayemonte. Vila Real is a maze of grid like streets, bar, cafes and restaurants, linen and souvenir shops. Seafront Promenade, a nice walk to the lighthouse. It’s a must visit. ”
